do you guys think pardoner’s “Discerning Evil” could work with Plague doctor’s Incinerate, by that i mean increasing the burn duration?

I think there are some buffs you can spread via Pandemic, as 08/12/15 patch shows right at the end of the note:

Now I wonder if this applies to all or specific buffs, pretty much like Pardoner’s skill Simony today. :d

I have added all 8/12 patch changes connected with classes to the main post and the most interesting general ones.

I think it might be a good idea to divide the main post into smaller threads and link them all here. It has too much information and it’s hard to search what you are looking for. Also, now it has too many images and videos and the whole post takes a while to load. Dividing it might help because people will be able to comment specific things on a more specific thread.

Either way, this thread is awesome, thanks for compiling all the information about the new changes here, great job!

It’s a very good idea, however in the current state hardly possible. I don’t want to spam the forums and feel the obligation to keep it updated each time some new info is out, I have work and uni after all. This form of a post gives me more freedom. Thank you for the suggestion, however!

General Changes

  • Fixed an error with every Companion AI

  • Market registration cost changed to Silver.

  • Joypad controls have been fixed as follows:
    Fixed the issue where button release is faster than the input the client recieves
    Fixed an issue where the UI mode can’t be used to access Vakarine Statues

  • Fixed nearby party information showing up even when there are none and also fixed Party Leader’s channel shown incorrectly in the Party recommendation UI.

  • Fixed losing target lock when in combat with companion.

  • Fixed misc. store icon being marked in red.

  • Fixed Soul Crystal list appearing only when dying multiple times while partied. (Revive is indicated when all party members are dead or when point of success is near.)

  • Fixed situation where If you proceeded during the Tenet Chapel main quest, but a party member who fell into Gesti’s trap, the quest wouldn’t complete.

  • Fixed black screens when questing with party members.

  • Fixed friends list showing last accessed time stamp as 1 month when end of the month has passed.

  • Fedimian shop has deleted Cannon and musket from their wares.

Some information taken from the in-depth Korean article
English translation (worth reading!): In-depth article regarding kOBT (in Korean, translation needed)

  • Players should be able to achieve rank 6 by base level 186.

  • There are new classes which you can job change into upon fulfilling certain conditions. The hidden classes are by no means way better than regular classes.

  • Though we had many level 200 instance dungeons in the test server, for OBT instance dungeons at levels 40, 70, 120 will be provided (no info on whether these will be additions or not).

  • A level 217 dungeon will also be implemented in the OBT (that’s an oddly specific level).

  • We don’t find the name “Auto-attack of Savior” a dishonour. Rather, we think of it as praise. We also do not intend to change the game into one that focuses on skills.


Cash Shop Items

  • Regarding cash shop items, to some extent, we currently only have a general direction.

  • We will not put in items that will destroy game balance, as many players were worried about.

  • Once indoor maps are provided for character lodges, we intend to turn them into accommodation facilities.

  • There is a possibility of us adding more skins to these indoor maps (I think they meant the lodges themselves).

  • The problem where the world map and warping did not function has been fixed

  • Maven Necklace effect tooltip has been corrected.

  • Armour fortification levels and item rank will affect the effects of the equipment. (i.e. higher leveled equipment will give a stronger effect than one with a lower level)

  • Repurchase (Buy Back) function removed to prevent the temporary use of an error. (Probably the ‘Untradable’ bypass.)

  • The phenomenon where chatting mode windows changed when pressing ‘Alt+tab’ has been fixed.

Market system changes.

  • Items listed in the market now appear two hours after their initial listing.

  • Listing an item has a duration, you can set the duration by using TP.

  • You must use TP to list an item currently. The minimum is 3 hours, with 24, 72 and 120 hours. It costs 2, 4, 6 and 8 TP per item listed. Stacks of the same item don’t incur any extra TP cost.

  • The seller’s identity will be hidden when registering an item.

  • Market UI has been changed.

  • When registering, cancelling, and buying market items, there is an error where a higher item is obtained instead. (This will be fixed in the future)

  • Buy-in Shop was also removed a few patches ago.

  • You cannot conduct private trades between characters anymore.

I spent 2 TP on registering an item on the market for 3 hours. It did take 2 hours for that item to show up on the list, and then the item stayed on the list for another 3 hours, until it was finally expired. Therefore, the “3 hours”, which costs 2 TP, starts to count only when the item appears on the market.
And I also confirmed that if you withdraw the item from the market before it is sold out or expired, you do not get the TP back, neither if the item gets expired and is automatically sent to the Receive Slot. Once the TP is spent, it is spent forever. There’s no way to get the TP back.

  • World Map is merged into one map again, so no more North/South. Comes with a zoom function but the names arent transparent anymore which I assume is a bug. Also tells you where on the World Map your party members are.

  • Fixed the problem where the monsters in the mini-game, the fortress that lasts longer than the king, did not attack

  • Fixed ‘Ausrine Statue’ not being able to be used with Mouse Mode

  • Big Red Kepa will not drop ‘Klaipeda warp scroll’ anymore

  • Fixed the error where Lv 1 gems were not destroyed upon extraction

  • Sub-equipment’s potential has been modified.

  • Tree Root Crystals have been added to areas that were lacking in them.

  • It has been made so that knock back collision damage, knock down collision damage do not affect structures and monsters in knock back or knock down state.

  • In the quest, “Legwyn Family’s Tragedy (2)”, Kartas’ Hunter Dullahan’s stats has been lowered.

  • The number of basic slots in the warehouse has been restricted to 60 slots, and can be increased by using TP, which is the Korean equivalent of iCoin. (Hidden items can be seen again after expanding Storage space.)

Subzero Shield - Lasts for 18 seconds (+3 secs per level), shields 50% of incoming damage, and reflects damage taken. Freeze lasts for 3~4 seconds at all levels. It has a 30% chance to Freeze when reflecting damage. (+10% Freeze chance per level). It has a max level of 5, even past C2.

Subzero Shield can reflect BOTH Magic and Physical type damage. Projectiles (missiles) is unclear. The reflect damage can also proc Subzero Shield and cause an chain of freezes, as you see above.

The fact it cuts damage by 50% (seemingly) is very strong though, the freeze is nice as well. Sometimes, the damage shows up as full (80 damage hits in the window) but is also halved. (40 damage hits in the window.

Dekatos
[Physical] - [Strike]; Attack the enemy by dedicating money to God. Enemies can be killed instantly with a small chance (10%) except for bosses, and the money devoted has a chance (10%) to be picked up from the ground.

  • 15 Seconds Cooldown, no overheat.
  • 1500 damage (+100 per level)
  • Attribute Damage: x%
  • Costs 35 SP (+5 SP per level)

Kabbalist’s new skill Notarikon is another ‘Gematria’-type skill.

It brings up the target’s name (file name for monsters, character name for players), and assigns a value to each letter. It then only uses the first and last letter and then adds those together to assign a Gematria value.

The difference between Gematria and Notarikon is that Gematria adds every number, and Notarikon only adds the first and last number.

Levels increase total number of targets affected by the skill by 1. (1 target at Level 1.)

  • Cleric - Heal’s amount being reduced (it now has a 5% Max HP modifer instead of 10%), tiles now increase with level. So Level 6 Heal = 6 tiles and so on. Here’s an example of Level 11 Heal.

I played INT cleric, and I have to admit we were pretty OP. Not surprised by the nerfs.

would anyone happen to have any info on Fencer’s c2 skills?
im really curious of what Attaque Composee actually is, as well as any new attributes or c2 skills for fencer.

Cataphract skills are now able to be used while moving and Dragoon is now viable as a mounted class.

Wonder if Dragoon skills are able to be used while moving.

Quite a lot of changes,hopefully they carefully consider the feedback they get from it.Everyone else has basically said what needs to be said.

Hello! Added Shinobi, 13/12 patch notes (make sure to check each class one by one, there has been a lot of new stuff leaked), extra Musketeer stuff, video of Cyclone attribute, cooldowns of Plague Doctor and Warlock.
