As Tree of Savior is targeted and serviced to Steam Users, basic rules and guidelines of TOS Website and Forums is established on the “Rules and Guidelines For Steam”.
Details of the said rules and guidelines are as follows.
TREE OF SAVIOR ONLINE CONDUCT
When using Tree of Savior(“TOS”) Website and Forums, you agree to abide by the following conduct rules.
You will not :
Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents to do the same.
Use any material or information, including images or photographs, via TOS Website and Forums in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
Upload files that contain viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer or property of another.
Institute attacks upon TOS Website and Forum servers or otherwise disrupt TOS Website and Forums.
Use TOS Website and Forums in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying TOS services or other content.
Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses.
Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others.
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Rules and Guidelines For TOS Website and Forums: Discussions, Reviews, and User Generated Content
These guidelines apply to all places in the TOS Website and Forums, including messages, where users can post content.
When providing feedback, posting information, or discussing in Forums, whether it’s negative or positive, please make sure you are being relevant, constructive and polite.
Please note that Administrators/Operators reserve the right to change/edit/delete/move/merge any content at any time if they feel it is inappropriate, abusive, or incorrectly categorized.
All users are subject to the Tree of Savior Terms of Use and Tree of Savior Online Conduct.
##General Rules
Do not do any of the following:
-Flame or insult other members
-Bypass any filters
-Abuse or encourage abuse of the Trust Levels, or Reporting Systems
-Post personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, email, phone number, etc.)
-Bump threads
-Derail a thread’s topic
-Post links to phishing sites
-Post spam (i.e. +1, 10char, rickrolls) or Re-post Closed, Modified, Deleted Content
-Post promotions and advertisements not related to Tree of Savior
-Repetitively post in the incorrect category (example: translation requests belong in translation category)
-Openly argue with an operator
Off-Limit Topics/Replies
Do not post any topics/replies containing the following:
Porn, inappropriate or offensive content, warez or leaked content or anything else not safe for work
Any discussion of piracy will result in a permanent ban from TOS Website and Forums including, but not limited to:
-Cracks
-Key generators
-Console emulators
-Cheating, hacking, game exploits
-Threats of violence or harassment, even as a joke
-Posted copyright material such as magazine scans
-Soliciting, begging, auctioning, raffling, selling, advertising, referrals
-Racism, discrimination
-Abusive language, including swearing
-Drugs and alcohol
-Religious, political, and other “prone to huge arguments” threads
No Backseat Moderating
Let the operators do the moderating. Backseat moderating is when people who are not operators try to enforce the forum rules. If you see a person breaking the rules, report it or simply ignore the offensive post(s), thread, or review.
Report Posts to Operators
Should you observe a fellow Community member breaking these rules please report the post or item by clicking the Flag button located on every item, post, and review.
Repeated Offenders
Repeated offenders of the above rules and guidelines will be banned from the TOS Website and Forums. Any operator has the ability to ban a user for violating the rules at their discretion.
