[ Archer Changelog ] Archer changes from kTOS and iTOS

As of the August 16, 2016 iTOS Patch, iTOS and kTOS were on the same page in terms of skill changes / balance / patches, so I’m dumping all of those here: CLICK ME

    ○ The pests will survive for 3 seconds and then disappear after that duration.
    ○ When attacking you’ll get a 10% chance to spawn a pest.
    ○ The amount of pests generated will be changed to 1 per skill level, if you hit the max amount of pest spawns due to the 10% chance, new insects will not spawn at that time.
    ○ The value of debuff damage that Jincan Gu can output will now also increase by the skill level of this ability.

    The calculation has changed so that damage is applied as 3hits.
    ○ Currently it would divide your total damage into 3 segments. I.e 6,000 Damage = 2,000 + 2,000 + 2,000
    ○ It will instead change to calculate damage individual hits, thus being. 6,000 + 6,000 + 6,000 Damage instead.

  • Bazooka

  • [ FEB 23 ]
    In the Bazooka stance, the minimum range for the bazooka has been removed. (However, Basic attack is excluded from this)

  • [ JAN 12 ]
    Range has been increased by 20%
    The skill will take effect more quickly
    Cannoneer skills can now be used whilst in Bazooka stance (Bazooka also boosts skills’ damage)
    Cannoneer skills’ base AoE Attack Ratio are doubled during the Bazooka stance

  • [ DEC 01 ]
    This skill can now canceled by jumping

  • [ NOV 10 ]
    Fixed a problem where some effects of Running Shot were not applying

    Range has been increased to 150 Units ( Previously 120)

    Fixed a bug where [Retreat Shot] was breaking constantly

    Using basic attacks during Retreat Shot will now properly end the skill & further attacks become basic attacks again. ( TN: You can no longer use both at the same time. )

Going to be very honest i don’t see why kneeling even cost sp myself. It’s like a stance idk might just be me.

New patch information has been added (Stake Stockades, Claymore, Punji Stake, Spike Shooter, Bodkin Point)

Also, seems like most [Team Battle League] skill changes were actually applied to all PvP modes. Exception being the use limits of [Revive] and [Resurrection]

In the steady aim patch notes from the staff, it doesnt show that the damage formula has changed only the duration, although in the game it does actually changed like what u stated above, any idea on this?

Holy crap that Falconer 2 buff doe lol.

My original intention was to actually show the differences of some of the skills in iTOS and in kTOS because some people were blindly following kTOS builds based on what they see is currently popular there. Then, I ended up going through too many patch notes and then decided to just make a full list.

I’m confused about this, I mean Coursing is the one skill that paralizes the target and does damage to it ?

With this update it seems that it’ll do damage even with dispelling skills on the target, but what about the CC effect ? It seems strange that they talk about damage and dispelling on the same sentence, since one is not necessarily coming with the other.

So, does it mean that in PVP it’ll damage but not CC the target ? And does Retrieve work like this too ?

Of course, I never played Hunter, so I don’t know much about those skills.

If the target has those anti-CC stuff, yes. The damage from Coursing and Retrieve shouldn’t be dispellable like other DoTs such as Burn and Poison, since it’s the pet that’s physically attacking the target and the only actual debuff going on is the Hold / Pull.
