[Re:Build] Class Changes

Here is a list of some class changes. I’ll add to it over time.

I don’t know if I’ll do every class. IMC gave no patch notes as to what changed. I’m just documenting things I find.

As the test server is rapidly updated, some specific things may not be 100% accurate, but I’ll do my best to keep things up to date.

Swordsman Changes
-Concentrate removed.
-Pommel removed.
-Double Slash removed.
-Thrust now caps at skill level 5.
-Bash cooldown increased (6 -> 10 seconds). Overheat increased (3 -> 5). Specialty and Splash attributes removed. Now caps at skill level 5.
-Gung Ho changed to increase damage by 2% per skill level. No longer reduces defense. Cooldown increased (40 -> 60 seconds). Enhance attribute boosts this by 0.5% per level with a max of attribute level 100. Cannot be used at the same time as Bear. Now caps at skill level 5.
-New skill, Bear.

Reduces physical damage taken by 2% per skill level. 60 second cooldown. Enhance attribute boosts this by 0.5% per level with a max of attribute level 100. Cannot be used at the same time as Gung Ho. Caps at skill level 5.
-Pain Barrier cooldown increased (39 -> 60 seconds). Duration is now 10 seconds at level 1, with 5 seconds added per skill level (max 30 seconds). Now caps at skill level 5.

Peltasta Changes
[Peltasta on Tos Guru]
-Umbo Thrust removed.
-Butterfly removed.
-Langort removed.
-New attribute, Shield Attack. Causes all damage dealt with Rim Blow, Umbo Blow, and Shield Lob to be based on your shield’s defense instead of your primary weapon’s attack.
-Shield Guard and Guard: Defense attributes combined.
-Rim Blow cooldown increased (12 -> 15 seconds). Overheat increased (2 -> 3). No longer gains a portion of your shield’s defense as damage. Threat multiplier reduced (50x -> 10x). New attribute: Remove Knockback.
-Swashbuckling now affects 3 more targets (21 -> 24). Provoke duration doubled (5 -> 10 seconds). Focused Defense and Provoke Specialty attributes removed. No longer states that it increases the amount of targets you can aggro at once, but still seems to provide the buff in game (may change).
-Shield Lob cooldown decreased (14 -> 10 seconds). You no longer have to retrieve the shield. No longer gains a portion of your shield’s defense as damage. Threat multiplier reduced (50x -> 10x). Splash attribute removed. Max skill level now 15.
-High Guard cooldown decreased (60 -> 50 seconds). Now increases block by 2% per skill level instead of a flat value. Enhance attribute added. Max skill level now 15.
-Umbo Blow cooldown decreased (12 -> 10 seconds). No longer gains a portion of your shield’s defense as damage. Threat multiplier reduced (50x -> 10x). Add Knockdown attribute removed.

-New skill, Hard Shield.

Increases your defense by 20% of your shield’s defense per skill level and also adds that much as magic defense. Maximum skill level 10 (200% increase). Lasts for 5 minutes with a 1 minute cooldown. Has an enhance attribute to grant more defense.

-Guardian reworked. Now decreases physical and magical damage taken by 8% per skill level and increases AoE Defense Ratio by 2 per skill level for 15 seconds. Max skill level 5 (40% reduction / +10 AoE Defense Ratio). Cooldown of 50 seconds. Evasion and Reduce Damage attributes removed and Enhance attribute added to increase the damage reduction only.

Dragoon Changes
[Dragoon on Tos Guru]
-Serpentine now has a guaranteed critical hit if the enemy’s movement speed is reduced. Bleeding and Additional Damage attributes removed.
-Gae Bulg cooldown reduced (30 -> 20 seconds). Debuff locked at 10 seconds and no longer scales with skill level. Attack Zone, Defense Zone, and Retrieve attributes removed. You no longer have to retrieve the spear.
-Dragon Soar now inflicts [Shock] for 5 seconds guaranteed, and the attribute to inflict shock has been removed. If the enemy is under the [Fear] debuff, it ignores 50% of enemy defense. The Ascension attribute has been removed (stays at 5 hits, not inherited).

-New skill, Dragon Fear.

-Provides a buff that increases your AoE Attack Ratio by 3, and causes [Fear] on enemies nearby. The duration of the buff and number of targets affected by Fear scales with skill level. Maximum skill level of 10. It lasts 12 seconds at level 1, going up by 2 seconds with each level, for a maximum of 30 seconds. It affects 1 target with Fear, going up by 1 target per level, for a maximum of 10 targets.

-Dethrone cooldown increased (16 -> 20 seconds). Boss monster debuff duration now locked to 10 seconds and does not scale with skill level.
-Dragoon Helmet cooldown increased (1 -> 10 seconds). Duration now set to 1 minute. No longer reduces SP consumption, but damage bonus increased (50% -> 100%).
-Dragon Fall now hits twice on enemies with [Shock]. Counterweight attribute removed.

Pyromancer Changes
-Flare has been removed.
-Fireball cooldown increased (8 -> 15 seconds).
-Fire Wall cooldown increased (20 -> 30 seconds). Overheat reduced (3 -> 2). Knockback attribute removed.
-Flame Ground cooldown increased (25 -> 30 seconds).
-Enchant Fire cooldown decreased (110 -> 60 seconds). Now buffs summons.
-Fire Pillar cooldown increased (30 -> 45 seconds).
-Hell Breath now caps at skill level 10. Cooldown increased (40 -> 45 seconds).
-New skill, Prominence. Generates 4 flames per second for 4 seconds, can be cast at a targeted area. Max skill level is 5. 60 second cooldown, no overheats.

Elementalist Changes
-Prominence removed. Prominence is now a Pyromancer skill.
-Freezing Sphere removed. Rune of Ice in Runecaster is now extremely similar to the old Freezing Sphere.
-Electrocute cooldown reduced to 10 seconds. Overheat removed. If you use it within a Storm Calling, it hits twice as many targets.
-Hail cooldown increased (45 -> 50 seconds).
-Storm Dust cooldown reduced (35 -> 20 seconds).
-Meteor casting time reduced (3 -> 2 seconds). Overheat removed.

New skill, Fire Claw. Sends 8 fires outward from you. 20 second cooldown, no overheat.

They can hit the same enemy multiple times if they all connect. This makes it useful to “shotgun” and use right on top of an enemy.

New skill, Elemental Essence.

Provides a buff that increases the damage bonus for hitting an enemy’s weakness with magic by 10% per skill level (max level 10, 100%). This lasts for 20 seconds and has a 20 second cooldown.

Runecaster Changes
-Overheats removed from Rune of Justice, Rune of Destruction. Cooldown unchanged.
-MDEF reduction on Rune of Destruction now scales with skill level and is not an attribute, 5% per skill level.
-Rune of Protection now natively provides protection from casting interruption and reduces damage taken while casting spells (1% per skill level). It has an enhance attribute to increase the damage reduction by up to 1.6x, and an attribute that requires level 350+ and provides knockdown immunity.
-Rune of Ice completely changed and now is an attack that is very similar to Freezing Sphere. It can cause enemies to freeze for 3 seconds.
-Rune of Giants lasts for 30 seconds per skill level. Can be used on a Shoggoth from Necromancer.

New Runecaster skill, Rune of Stone / Mannaz.

Drops down 5 giant stones from the sky, one after another in a large AoE. 40 second cooldown, no overheat.

Chronomancer Changes
-Quicken removed. (Moved to Thaumaturge)
-Haste removed. (Remade in the form of Modafinil in Plague Doctor)
-Slow cooldown reduced (35 -> 30 seconds). Magic circle duration no longer scales with skill level and is now locked to 10 seconds. Attributes Critical Resistance and Decreased Nullification removed.

-New skill: Time Forward.

Increases the cooldown of a random skill for all enemies in range by 1 second per skill level. Affects a maximum of 10 targets. Max skill level 15. Cooldown time of 50 seconds.

-New skill: Quick Cast, transferred from Wizard. Now has a maximum skill level of 10 and scales by 5% per skill level (same final cast time reduction).

-Backmasking maximum skill level is now 10. Confusion attribute removed.
-Pass has a new attribute, Additional Reduction. Grants Pass a chance per attribute level to reduce cooldowns by an additional 5 seconds. Maximum attribute level of 100. The chance of it occurring and the chance you get per attribute level is not stated.

Warlock Changes
-Drain has been removed.
-Invocation spirits capped to 5 on the field at once. Buff duration locked to 40 seconds, spirit duration locked to 10 seconds. Deliver and duration attributes removed.
-Dark Theurge fear damage bonus no longer requires an attribute.
-Ghastly Trail now caps at level 15.
-Pole of Agony now caps at level 10. Duration and maintain attributes removed, duration attribute is now in the ability by default.
-Mastema cooldown increased (37 -> 40 seconds). Phantom Pain attribute’s stat reduction has been removed.

Monk Changes
-Double Punch is now a stance, lasts permanently and can be toggled on and off. It makes your auto attack change into double punch and you can just hold down the button to spam double punch, attack speed raises with skill level.
-Palm Strike cooldown increased (15 -> 20 seconds). Ignores a % of enemy defense instead of the previous effect. Now has 4 overheats.
-God Finger Flick now has 4 overheats.
-One Inch Punch now has 4 overheats.
-Iron Skin reworked. Now a 5 minute buff that reduces physical damage you take (0.5% per skill level).
-Hand Knife changed to 1 skill point maximum, zero cooldown. Can only be used right after using Palm Strike, so you can Palm Strike -> Hand Knife -> Palm Strike -> Hand Knife, etc.
-Golden Bell Shield reworked. Immediately resets the cooldown of Monk skills and increases Monk skill damage by 10% per skill level for 10 seconds. 1 minute cooldown.
-Energy Blast cooldown reduced (45 -> 20 seconds). Now deals twice as many hits on enemies affected by Divine Stigma from a Krivis.

Oracle Changes
-Twist of Fate removed.
-Change removed.
-Forecast removed.
-Arcane Energy reworked. Now increases Evasion by 0.4% per skill level (max 6% at level 15). Cooldown increased (49 -> 60 seconds). Duration reduced (30 minutes -> 5 minutes). Attributes unchanged.
-Counter Spell cooldown reduced (60 -> 50 seconds). Duration increased (10 -> 25 seconds). Cooldown no longer scales with skill level. Possibly bugged, there seems to be no change with skill level. Size possibly reduced.
-Prophecy max skill level is now 1. No longer applies a limited number of times. Cooldown increased (30 -> 60 seconds). Duration reduced (25 -> 15 seconds).
-Death Sentence penalty removed, no longer reflects damage back to you. Base damage increase reduced (35% -> 15%). Duration increased (10 -> 25 seconds).
-New skill, Divine Might. Same as current version, except cooldown reduced (27 -> 25 seconds).
-Foretell reworked. Now provides complete immunity to enemy attacks and is no longer a circle that moves. Now the skill is a channeled prayer for all allies next to you in a smaller area than before. Lasts for 7 seconds and skill level effect is currently unknown.

Quarrel Shooter Changes
[Quarrel Shooter on Tos Guru]
-Running Shot removed.
-Shield Mastery: Quarrel Shooter attribute removed.
-Deploy Pavise bleed chance now locked to 100%, and the Bleeding Chance attribute has been removed. The duration of the Pavise is now locked at 30 seconds. New attribute added: halves the duration and block count of the Pavise, but gives all nearby allies +10% block penetration, and gives only you immunity to knockdown/knockback.
-Scatter Caltrops Duration attribute removed. The base duration on the skill has not changed.
-Stone Shot cooldown increased (10 -> 15 seconds). Stun duration now locked at 4 seconds and does not scale with skill level. It has a new line to state stun chance in the skill description, but never changes from 0%, so likely bugged.
-Rapid Fire cooldown decreased (25 -> 20 seconds). Reduce Critical Resistance attribute removed. Now caps at skill level 15.
-New skill: Kneeling Shot, taken from Archer. Now caps at skill level 1. Provides a 15% increase in attack (instead of flat), 35 range (same as old maximum), and 30 attack speed (old level 1 value). Critical Rate and Precise Attack attributes removed. Enhance attribute now provides 0.5% increase to the attack gain with 100 levels.
-Teardown cooldown decreased (50 -> 45 seconds). Overheat decreased (4 -> 3). Teardown Statue attribute removed, but the skill now has the functionality by default.

-New skill: Block and Shoot.

For 5 minutes, you have increased block (20% per skill level). Any time you block, your attack afterward is a guaranteed critical strike. Caps at skill level 5. Cooldown is 1 minute.

Hunter Changes
[Hunter on Tos Guru]
-Snatching removed.
-Coursing cooldown increased (9 -> 35 seconds). The attribute “Mental Breakdown” has been removed, and it now reduces magical defense at the same rate as physical defense. Duration is halved in PVP and the additional critical chance bonus has been removed.
-Rush Dog now targets an area and hits 10 targets at once. Cooldown increased (5 -> 15 seconds). Stun attribute removed.
-Retrieve cooldown increased (10 -> 25 seconds). Now targets an area.
-Praise cooldown decreased (90 -> 10 seconds). Duration no longer scales with skill level and is increased to 5 minutes (100 -> 300 seconds). If used when your companion is stunned, it will immediately recover. The buff also additionally reduces damage your companion takes from everything but bosses by 95%. Maximum skill level is now 1.
-Growling cooldown increased (34 -> 45 seconds). No longer stuns enemies in place, now reduces their physical and magical damage by 1% per skill level. The duration of the debuff per Growl is now locked at 4 seconds. Maximum skill level is now 10.

-New skill, Howling.

Your companion howls, threatening enemies. Lowers enemy critical resistance by 8% per skill level. Maximum skill level is 10, for a maximum of 80% reduction. Lasts for 15 seconds. Cooldown is 40 seconds. Has an enhance attribute of 100 levels, increasing the effect by 0.5% per level.

-Hounding now additionally provides you with a buff for 90 seconds, granting 100 looting chance. Maximum skill level is now 1 and it is locked at finding 5 hidden enemies. If your companion finds a hidden enemy, it inflicts Fear for 3 seconds.

Falconer Changes
-Call has been removed. The Falcon returns to you automatically without need for an attribute or the Call skill.
-Hovering has been removed.
-Pre-Emptive Strike has been removed.
-Roost has been reworked. The hawk will rest on the perch for a moment, and after 5 seconds, it will begin flying again. This rest resets the cooldown time of all Falconer skills except for Roost. Roost’s cooldown time has increased (20 -> 200 seconds). The attribute “Increased Range” has been removed.
-Circling cooldown increased (35 -> 45 seconds). Decreased Nullification attribute removed.
-Pheasant cooldown increased (25 -> 30 seconds). Stun and Shock Rebound attributes removed. It does not knockdown enemies in any way now.
-Sonic Strike cooldown decreased (45 -> 35 seconds).
-Aiming cooldown increased (30 -> 75 seconds). Duration is now a base of 15 seconds and goes up by 15 seconds per skill level. Skill level is now capped at 10, making the maximum duration 150 seconds.

-New skill, Tomahawk.

Your falcon glides forward and causes a huge explosion that burns enemies. The “Burn” effect is a debuff that lasts 6 seconds. The cooldown time is 50 seconds.

Schwarzer Reiter Changes
-Caracole now increases enemy damage taken from Missile attacks by 30% for 5 seconds. Nonskid and Spread attributes removed.
-Limacon now lasts 5 minutes regardless of skill level.
-Retreat Shot skill level now capped at skill level 10. Now hits a maximum of 15 targets.
-Evasive Action now capped at skill level 10. Cooldown increased (45 -> 60 seconds). Effect unchanged, which means the new maximum bonus from it is 20%.
-Marching Fire now hits a maximum of 15 targets.

Fletcher Changes
-Broadhead cooldown increased (10 -> 15 seconds).
-Bodkin Point overheat removed (2 -> 0). Decreased Defense attribute removed.
-Barbed Arrow cooldown increased (10 -> 15 seconds).
-Crossfire cooldown increased (10 -> 20 seconds). Burn attribute removed, but now is a baseline effect of the skill. Maximum skill level is now 10.
-Divine Machine Arrow cooldown increased (20 -> 25 seconds). Shock attribute removed. Now deals 50% more damage to burning enemies. Maximum skill level is now 10.
-Magic Arrow maximum skill level is now 5.

Mergen Changes
-Parthian Shaft removed.
-Spread Shot cooldown decreased (30 -> 15 seconds). Richochet attribute removed, but effect is now baseline and the chance to trigger has been boosted to 100%.
-Homing Arrow cooldown decreased (30 -> 20 seconds).
-Triple Arrow cooldown decreased (30 -> 15 seconds). Explosions to damage nearby enemies now only occur 50% of the time.
-Downfall cooldown increased (15 -> 20 seconds). Maximum skill level is now 15, boosting the maximum duration to 10.5 seconds.
-Jump Shot cooldown increased (20 -> 25 seconds).
-Arrow Sprinkle maximum skill level is now 10.
-Zenith cooldown increased (35 -> 50 seconds). Overheats removed (3 -> 0).

Cleric Changes
-Safety Zone removed.
-Deprotected Zone removed.
-Divine Might moved to Oracle.
-Heal reworked. No longer generates any healing tiles. Now is a targeted spell and heals one party member or yourself. All attributes removed except Enhance and Linger. Cooldown reduced (22 -> 10 seconds). Now caps at skill level 5.
-Cure reworked. No longer generates a magic circle. Now removes a status ailment from an ally or deals damage to enemies. Damage Interval attribute removed. Cooldown reduced (27 -> 20 seconds). Overheat increased (0 -> 2). Now caps at skill level 5.
-New skill, Smite. Moved over from Paladin. Cooldown increased (9 -> 12). Overheat increased (3 -> 5). Knockdown Damage attribute removed. Can no longer knockdown at all. Now caps at skill level 5.
-Fade cooldown reduced (40 -> 30 seconds). Now caps at skill level 5.

Krivis Changes
-Aukuras now uses the Goddess of Fire attribute a base. Scales with STR or INT, whichever is higher. No longer recovers HP. Accuracy debuff removed. Enhance attribute changed to scale the Fire damage bonus. Cooldown reduced (60 -> 30 seconds). Duration increased (30 -> 60 seconds).
-Zalciai now scales by percentage instead of flat. Increases critical attack of allies and decreases critical resistance of enemies by 1% per skill level. Cooldown increased (20 -> 30 seconds). Duration and magic amplification attributes removed. Now has new attributes to also provide +5% physical and magical critical chance.
-Zaibas overheat increased (2 -> 3). Splash attribute removed.
-Daino reworked. Now provides +5% accuracy per skill level. Max skill level is 10. Cooldown decreased (60 -> 50 seconds). Duration is now 12 seconds at level 1, plus 2 seconds per skill level. Attributes removed.
-Divine Stigma buff duration reduced (60 -> 30 seconds). Debuff duration increased (15 -> 30 seconds). Now increases STR and INT by 1% per skill level. The debuff also now seems to increase damage taken by 5% per skill level? Unsure on this. Zaibas damage benefit removed.
-Melstis cooldown increased (60 -> 90 seconds).

Sadhu Changes
-Out of Body movement range now locked to 180 (skill level 4 in current version). Evasion attribute removed, but now provides 10% evasion as a base. Attack speed significantly reduced. Movement speed is stated as 55 in the description, but the spirit’s movement speed is the same as your own. Skill level seems to have no effect on the skill. Possibly bugged.
-Astral Body Explosion cooldown reduced (30 -> 20 seconds). Knockdown attribute replaced with an attribute that causes the explosion to also occur from your body, cause a knockback, and no longer end Out of Body on use.
-Prakriti reworked. Upon use, you warp to your body’s location, and place down an aura in the area that deals damage every second. Now has a maximum skill level of 15. Duration scales with skill level (base 3.3 sec, +0.3 sec per skill level). Cooldown increased (9 -> 20 seconds). The skill effect is Vashita Siddhi’s old effect.

-Vashita Siddhi reworked. Divides your spirit into several parts around your body and explodes, dealing damage to everything nearby you. Deals +30% additional damage to enemies suffering from Aqua Benedicta. Max skill level is 10. Cooldown is 40 seconds.

-Possession duration reduced (6.5 -> 4 seconds).
-Transmit Prana no longer transfers stats, and thus those attributes have been removed. Duration now locked at 30 seconds. Cooldown reduced (80 -> 60 seconds). Damage bonuses and penalty now scale with the skill level instead of being static values.

jesus… they’ve absolutely gutted zaibas. not only have they moved taoist to the wizard tree, but they’ve also removed the splash attribute which makes it worthless in 90% of game content, and they’ve removed the damage bonus with divine stigma. this update is so horrible :frowning:

Damn falconer is looking really bad now…

my favorite skill is always nerfed, from 10 down to 6.5 and now 4 seconds. how many hits will it take now, 10-15 hits? so sad

was mine fav as well, love the anmation and effects… it hit like every .3s , so 13 hits. gotta check new t.prana values, but overall sadhus got really buffed this patch. too bad that now probably every magic dps cleric will go sadhu-exo -x , build diversity at it’s peak /s :tired:

No more healing random people, no more Heal mine field :tired:

no more heal tiles? are this guys idiots or what? im done, this is my call for quit. everyone else playing cleric, have fun healing one persont at the time in the chaos that is the combat in this game, christ.

Dude, if you want to heal the whole party you still have priest, Druid, PD, Kabbalist and Paladin.
If you want to quit just do it. But don’t come here saying ■■■■ about how it’s not possible to heal anymore.

It’s nice to have AT LEAST one single target heal and that is very well placed in the base circle.
If you want to fill the role of party heal you can pick other 3 classes to do so…

You can heal one particular person using its party name, just like in RO.

Warlock Changes

I fell Bad for warlock, no, for Wizard in general, tons of nerf, Pyro, Elementalist, Necromancer(this one deserves, I hate necromancer :v)…

hate the user not the class and yes many classes got chop a lot…

I need to wait and see what happen, what I know is that things won’t be the same as they are now :frowning:

Yeah, well, it is personal preference, I never get used to necromancers in almost games/book.
About the classes, lets see what the future says, and i’m not very confident for wizards, but scout tree looks promissing.

Any info about Quarrel Shooter? All i know Running Shot is no more. Judging by the skill simulator new skill can be used with 2hand bow too.

@crevox is it possible to confirm if 2h blunt weapon are allowed for all cleric classes?

Oh God. They massacred my Pyromancer with all those CD increase.

Decreasing Enchant Fire CD doesn’t do much since it’s already a 300 sec buff.

Prominence won’t even be enough to make Pyro viable.

Yes, it is. You can use a two handed blunt weapon immediately.
