not saying i 100% agree with itā€¦ but they kinda ā€œwouldā€ā€¦ and it is the point most ppl used to agree with imc initial decision of never puting a ā€œthief treeā€ before. now that they done it, those ppl will feel gimped, it is only natural.

Would be cool if the texture follows the fabric the class has covering their arms. This kinda reminds me an anime characterā€¦

I doubt thatā€¦They either will turn it into magic or delete that skillā€¦or maybe it depends now on summon atk(?)ā€¦ but you just made me realise that the zombie train zealot now definitely wonā€™t be a thingā€¦ I mean I hoped the changes, maybe new skill factor would help make it happen butā€¦ Itā€™s not a thing anymore lolā€¦

Do they mention if Scout can still use Crossbows?

I hope they have some kind of weapon trade voucher because i have a Hackapell(Crossbow+Sword +16 trans 10). If i want to make her a Scout iā€™ll have two weapons she canā€™t even use. If i want to keep her as Hackapell iā€™ll have an useless Crossbow,if want any Archer,useless Sword.

not really. Physical damage is split between Archer and Swordsman from the beginning. One deals melee type damage (slash/strike/pierce), the other one missile type damage (if we ignore Falconer/Hunter as oddballs).
There were some crossovers with Corsair&Hackapella, which got moved now.

Cleric is split between magic and melee because itā€™s basically a holy Swordsman[blunt weapon specialist] that draws its magic from the divine beings and its physical power from training.

Scout is a specialized Archer that covers the mid-range with fast autoattacks via dagger and/or pistols rather than using crossbows/bows.
If you give it magic it becomes a complete chimera of Wizard/Swordsman(or Thief) and Archer.

And it would be strange because no INT/SPR gain per level and no magic attack via Pistols/Daggers xD

Since they donā€™t delete the skill gem they wonā€™t delete the skill. Maybe itā€™s changed to let the zombies run around as they want since the channeling is really bad.

They should change the Scoutā€™s Tree costumes to fit it thematically
It really hurts the eyes to see Linker, Thauma there

Yes, itā€™s only natural, but theyā€™ll still differ from each other. Remember the good and old debate: DEX vs STR. You have swift and sneaky melee classes in one tree and strong and sturdy classes in the other tree. Anyway, as @Remiri reminded us, Thief+Mage is a very old concept. I mentioned a few examples of video games that replicated that concept, but there are many more. Besides, itā€™s something part of the community asked (1) (2) (3).
With the 5th class tree, all those ideas may become real in the future and I love it.

My problem is losing a weapon because of these stupid class changes.In this scenario iā€™ll still have my Crossbow become useless.

I hate it because the unique Classes are mainly taken away from their respective Class trees, leaving them very homogeneous. The very life in TOS was that there were always some Classes inside the trees that played and twisted the concept of the Class like Taoist&Bokor in the Cleric Tree, Shinobi and Squire in the Swordsman Tree and Hackapella and Rogue in the Archer Tree.

Now the uniqueness is completely gone, and most of it went to the Scout Tree.

The rest left over is pretty generic and straight towards a single identity,gg.

Not really. Scout is a scout, it doesnā€™t have to be an Archer. But regardless of that, they need to rename it, because the whole tree doesnā€™t fit the scout role. Many good suggestions were given, so I hope IMC listens to us. Trickster, Spellslinger, Spellblade, Nightbladeā€¦ Anything can be better than Scout.

You should read a bit about how that concept works in other games. Take a look on Red and Blue Mage from Final Fantasy series, Mesmer from Guild Wars 2, Dark Brotherhood from The Elder Scrolls, etc.

You have a point, but there are still many possibilities we donā€™t see in other MMOs, even in the Cleric tree, which is the most homogeneous tree now, all thanks to classes like Kabbalist, Zealot, Oracle (please make Oracle good, IMC) and Plague Doctor.

I am one of those, took shinobi due being one of a few that could ā€œcastā€ fire/explosion ā€œmagicā€ (insert megumin feelings) , anyway maybe there will be even more magic/support to come in future too. my only gripe is that appraiser would been a perfect fit for scout, both the idea os apprasing items , skills and forgery of objects.

Rename rogue to outlaw/gangster

I am not against Shinobi, just donā€™t like how some anime or manga twisted our culture into something they are now.They are master of survival, assassination, espionage and spying, gun powder was rare back in those day, so some small trick look like illusion and David Copperfield are perfectly understandable. What I donā€™t like is how that manga Naxxxx turn them into some kind of shaolin monk and wizard hybrid, and to be honest I canā€™t wait to make my shinobi build and in this new class system

Bring Alchemist, Falconer, Hunter, Pied Piper and Appraiser to Scout tree, then delete Archer tree due to the lack of classes and sacrifice the tree for the growth of the Scout tree.

Soā€¦ One weapon or two weapons? haha yeah, i totaly read wrong. Anyway, i think scout could choose between crossbow or sword as the main weapon. I just dont think they will do it

So you donā€™t think featherfoot is very unique as far as wizards go? What about Pied piper in the archer tree? Rode in Swordsman? Sadhu and Dievderbys in Cleric? There are still plenty of classes in each tree who are weird and unusual by class standards.

the only classes who really shook anything up to be moved to the scout tree were Linker and Enchanter. Thaumaturge is just a standard buffing class with a fancy coat of paint. Furthermore, all of these were wizards prior to that. Scout is maybe arguable but itā€™s a shop class that never offered much beyond utility anyway.

I donā€™t see whatā€™s so unique about Taoist or Bokor (though I donā€™t have much experience with the former). But from what it seems, Taoist was just one of a few ā€˜castersā€™ inside the cleric tree, a role now still represented by Plague Doctor, Druid and Exorcist. Bokors werenā€™t even favored as pure summoners within Cleric for the most part. A majority of players simply used zombies as fodder for Damballa on int builds because they were pretty poor if you tried to build them for SPR. Thatā€™s not a pet class - thatā€™s a Detonate Corpse caster archetype. If we want a real summoner Cleric then maybe we should be hoping they make Turn Undead better or something, lol.
