Why would I go full str just for ET lol. I’m still firm on Dex our calculations and POV are different when it comes to DEX vs STR.I told you that I have high Str Fletcher and my main which is high dex hybrid build. Hybrid with high dex build works best for me. As for ET gl going high STR. Fletcher doesnt have a place in ET atm. I dont calculate with 0 crit resistance since I want me build to work best all-round.

for archers dex is superior for everything, unless you build a QS or a wugushi. certain QS builds are better with str damage wise.
swordies are much more complex.
but with archers its simple dex is better with all this itemization and transcendence. in ktos someone got 550% damage with transcendence

if it’s ET you’re talking about for end game, CryoChrono is better if its the only chrono in the party.

With the sheer mob density in ET in some floors, the large number of mobs a cryo can lockdown with tree and snowball. (Side note, frozen mobs take bonus strike damage which helps SR)

Majority of ET is “untankable” in which the best way to tank them is through CC or not letting them get to you “aka barrier”

For grinding parties, Linker Chrono is superior for JP HK clear.

Your wiz2 linker2 chrono3 idea is interesting but it seems to lack CC that cryo one can offer (icewall, ice pike, icebolt) which you trade for surespell which most ET parties don’t really use

1. Most of EleLocks skills have no casting time BUT casting animations (plus they already have wiz 3 which means they have surespell already)

2. You only help cryochronos with their snowball

I’m not going to bring up buff limit since most ET parties SHOULD have daino scrolls

Cryo/Chrono or Linker/Chrono?

Cryo3 has more CC, and a bigger/longer duration CC pull.Cryo1 Linker2 will help your single-target party members more through links. Can reach 9 targets with divine might + Dandel gem.Physical link will make everyone take more damage, interrupt party member casting, and make squishies die. Very few useful skills are shared through Spiritual Chain, those skills will eat buffslots too.

Sorry I’m just trying really hard to understand your sentences. AoE is pref for ET. Cryo/Chrono is best for ET. What don’t you understand? Greyheimalready stated that Single target linker will be better. But all-round CryoChrono is better for ET.

I’m sorry but CryoChrono is better overall. Even for Dragoon. For Fletchers though, it’s questionnable.

But with Link nerf, people will start to want more CryoChrono than LinkerChrono now to be honest. (Or they’ll want both).

From all the ET runs I did with different builds (Even with 2 archers NOT SR), CryoChrono was better. Frost pillar gathers mobs in one spot which linker can’t do or maybe he can with more risks.

Also, who wants to bring single target dps in ET?..

Edit: Explaining why it’s better for Dragoon. Most Dragoon have Cata 3 in their build (I say MOST, not all) and they need Silence tree from diev OR Frost pillar to dps WITHOUT any major risk. With a good stuff, they can do 6k per rush hit on mobs which is quite good.
I admit that it’s biased because all the Dragoon I met were Cata. Maybe someone made a Dragoon without Cata 3…

Well I don’t see a lot of those kind of Dragoon here on Fedimian server. That’s why I added a note at the end :).

Also, did you see Mergen attack? it’s not “that” great.
When I do ET with LinkerChrono, it’s hard to gather all mobs to dps them mainly for 6F. (Not talking about 1F cause it’s possible to complete it with 3-4 persons tbh).

Now, you talk about Mergen, Dragoon etc. I’m sorry but most team don’t bring those build after 5F (Because first 5F are so easy you can bring people to leech cube).

So even IF Linker is better with them, they won’t be there for ET so CryoChrono is still better overall.

Fletcher is fine for ET. There are plenty of party combinations that support a single target DPS through 10 & 15/F currently, and after R8 Fletcher have made it to 20/F.

They do their job okay of assisting with target destruction and boss killing. AoE DPS is only exceedingly important on 1/5th of ET altogether, and even then players are more than strong enough to even 4-man these floors in numerous instances nowadays.
