New Class Advancement System

I liked a lot how much harder the decisions where too with the other way but well it’s pretty complicated. There will be nearly half of the players who will likes the first way while the other half will love the second one. And since “higher tier classes” doesn’t really mean better classes in this games (lower classes have less damages for less cooldown, while the higher classes have better damages for bigger cooldown too).

@grillo don’t forget the limitations of buffs too. with the buffs your party members already having a 7buffs link from yourself would make people lose buffs (if what the peopel said to me about 7buffs max is real or not)

Now people need to make more choices about their builds. It’ll give you more variety than the old system.

I don’t see it as a negative point though.

While there might be more “important” ranks later on, you could always build around that by getting only the skills that you wanted. Like Grillo said, getting linker C2 an Thaumaturge to any rank would allow you to buff your party with anything you like and considering you go C2 Thaumaturge, you’d only be losing the current classes that we know of atm. If the player making this build doesn’t like any of the current classes for their Wiz build, then they’re not really giving up much.

BTW I’m not sure but don’t Thaumaturge skills stack onto all party members anyways? I don’t actually know of any buff that doesn’t go to all party members besides Divine Might and Self-Buffs from Archer and Swordsman.

Lower class skills usually have more attributes and more attribute lvls attached to them as well.

Well with rank 5/6th class righ now it’s pretty normal since we don’t know the 2nd and/or 3rd circles for them ^^ When there will be the 8th circles we’ll know more about it.
What i’m asking myself more right now is about Hidden Class, if it’s really a rank 8th class, that would mean their will be circles for these classes too and though choices to make with hidden classes too.

How can you leveling with this build ? (wiz1 > any rank2 > linker1 > Traumaturges1 >linker2 > Traumaturges2)
I don’t see any attack skill in Linker and Traumaturges.

AA ftw :stuck_out_tongue:

A long time ago (i think it was in the first Q&A) they said the hidden could be anywhere in the ranks other then 1. Which i would like if some hidden were rank 3 and some 6 etc spread out. Which i wouldn’t mind if it ended up being like that. But i have also heard people saying that hidden might be rank 9-11, but i feel as though that defeats the purpose of them being hidden.

Yeah i heard the 9-11th ranks for hidden class too, but if the Templar is really a Rank 8th class it will just cut down this speculation. If Hidden classes had really been 9-11th ranks with only “one hidden class” choice per example that would have cut down how works the classes right now ^^
But if there are hidden class on rank 8 maybe there will be lower ranks hidden classes too °° that could be pretty fun too!

It makes more sense to whats the point of a hidden class at the end of your ranks. Its not a very good hidden class if you cant miss taking it.

But not everyone is gonna build Linker 2 and Thaurgmage 2… Also this build does not have strong dmg skills…

You hace the wizards skills, don’t you?

Yeah I know not everyone would build the Linker + Thaumaturge Wiz but that was just an example of what you could build and still not give up on classes that we don’t know of yet. And this build isn’t for people who want a lot of damage since not everyone wants to build a DPS machine but instead want to be a full support class.

Sure some full supports do some damage such as the Cleric classes both buffing/healing and attacking at the same time but Wiz aren’t that easy as they have a lot of buffs and maybe one or two attacks so the people who wanted to make such a build would need to party almost 24/7 of their game time, which isn’t that bad if you’re playing with irl friends who have the same game time as you.

Either way the point was about people lvling alone (or only with 1 friend) or lvling in party! With the new system is easier to make a char who can do lots of stuff by him/herself, wich will eventually kill the party system

Well you have a good point there, but if there aren’t only hidden classes on rank 8th you can miss it too, and anyway with the new system you could take a lower rank hidden class even at rank 8th ^^

@Anasu hace? did you mean hate? not sure there if i don’t know the word or if it’s just a mistake :x

Yes, I know but do you think level 5 energy bolt and level 5 earth quake is enough?

Oh maybe some of you didnot aware of Element mechanic.
they made change to element mechanic
this is old one.

this is new one

1st link and 2nd link stated the same
敵の属性と同じ属性の魔法を使うと敵が回復する.
Attack a target with same Element magic, that target will get HP recovery.
ex: attack fire monster with fire magic, that monster will get HP recovery instead of 50% damage reduce.

please tell me how can you leveling with 2 Element magic (or 3 if you pick pyro or cyro).

How about buffing other classes and same classes that dont have those skills? Problem solved… Linker Spiritual chain is created for party playing and thaurgmage can buff all of party members without Spiritual chain…

I hope it won’t kill the party system, anyway there should still be the “exp bonus” gained while leveling in party. So it means it will be up to everyone to level by themselves or with other people if they want to. And i don’t think it will change a lot with the fact that if you want to play a support class (even if it’s not full support) there are some chances that you’d need to party to train.

Well if you pick Pyro and don’t go to another attack rank, you would go to a different leveling area since the developers said that there were going to be multiple leveling spots (which people have said is past level 50? 80?) but if you went Pyro AND Cryo since you can now do so, you wouldn’t have any problems leveling since you have 2 elemental sources.

But generally, yeah you would have issues if you just went Pyro… like I’m going to do

@Garrnett That’s true, but the problem is this build above.
