The last patch in kCBT has changed the class advancement system. Now classes are no longer locked away from you.
I.E If youโre Cleric, and decide to go Krivis, in the future you can still become Cleric 2 or Priest.
Time for new builds.

Iโm not sure if I like thisโฆ :F I need more ranks then xD โฆ โฆespecially because Cleric 3 is kinda a must-have now because of Divine Might and Heal.

I wouldnโt consider it an official decision until it is explicitly announced by 'em.
So, in terms of well-known builds, this will open up some combination, such as:
Peltasta C2 / C3 -> Hoplite
Barbarian C3 -> Corsair
Highlander C2 / C3 -> Barbarian
Pyromancer C3 -> Elementalist
Cryomancer C1 -> Pyromancer
Archer C2 / C3 -> Ranger
Scout C2 / C3 -> Rogue
Cleric C2 / C3 -> Priest / Krivis / Bokor/ Dievdirbys
Paladin C2 / C3 -> Monk
Itโs still in kCBT only, though, which is a closed test server and has an NDA. Itโs not implemented in Indonesia 1st CBT.

This is a good thing to test, I find being locked โoutโ of advancing a circle of a class just because you take a new one one of the more restricting parts of the system.
However I feel you should still be locked out of the โotherโ side once you pick, such as if you pick pyromancer youโre locked out of Cryomancer, but the option to go say as a swordsman, Highlander C1 -> Highlander C2 -> Barbarian C1 instead of being locked out of Barbarian/hoplite I greatly approve of.
With the same circle limits itโll make characters MUCH more varied. For example, instead of having Archer C3, Archer C2 + sapper/hunter, Archer + ranger/QS C2 and archer + ranger/qs + sapper/hunter itโll add Archer C2 + ranger/QS to the mix. And thatโs just for the first three circles. Lets see how it goes with it.

So besides the time that it would take, is there something that would restrict me from getting a

Iโm pretty sure they gonna put a rank cap on the game ^^. Lets say max rank is 10-12, so youโd have to choose wisely

Because there would still only be 10 circles to advance, so youโd not be able to get that many ranks. I donโt see them raising the cap just because of this change as itโd void the point of class circles.
Youโre still limited by the amount of ranks (6 atm, more later), so you could only progress up to 6 times.

You can go back, but probably you can make 6 choices (6ranks atm)
ie: imo if you go Wiz3
wiz1>wiz2>wiz3>cryo 1>cryo 2>pyro 1 (max 6)

Isnโt that exta circle 1 cleric kinda wierd? Why not start as a Krivis from character creation? Since cleric or other basic classes can par with higher skill rank class? Perfect example is cleric safety zone. What else the OP 1st class skillsโฆ
