There is no logic behind “We are on a Early release now, but next month will be OBT” Wut? ??
No game on earth jumped from CBT to release.
The regional servers aren’t even in place yet, contracts are still on hold for publishers like LEVELUP GAMES (BR publisher that’ll hold a local server for TOS in Brazil)
We still have laughable issues/bug, not suitable for release, even a EA release.
People keep saying that someone stated that will not have a wipe because someone said so, when asked for links/proof none is given.
Its easy, do u want a wipe? make a new char on a new server. DONE. Not everyone want to spend our time again on grind 200 lvl so if they make a wipe a lot of ppl would leave.
I just found out the “proof” that ppl are being using to say we are not on OBT is this:

SURE THEY’LL TRY NOT TO, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN IT CAN’T HAPPEN.

For your information they removed any reference (even obt announcement) about OBT, because THEY CHANGED THE PLAN.

LOT of games jumped from CBT to release. This year Black Desert and Blade and soul.
And the logic is called “HEAD START”. Something common in the last years.
And? And maybe is needed 2-4 or 10 years for some regional official version. (With same or another publisher). Nothing related to obt-cbt-HS,release
Bad start, like 75% of mmorpg.

There will be no data wipe of Teams or items.
No proof is needed because the are selling a month of exclusive access on steam WITHOUT “early access tag”.
This is enough proof to forget about wipes.
But if you want a proof/link, again:
- There will be no data wipe of Teams or items
And NO DATA WIPE, means NO DATA WIPE.
No wipe at the start, middle or end of a stage. (Btw, all wipes in all games are at the end of a stage (CBT, CAT, etc), crying for a wipe in the middle of the early access stage is another nonsense).
Anyway you don’t accept any EULA contemplating a wipe.
And they can’t make any wipe, because is the game time what everyone bought with any “Exclusive access” Founder Pack. (1 month).
If they deleted something what they’re selling on steam (DLC), would fraud.
No EA tag in steam = no steam warning for users = developer CAN’T reset/modify sold contents. Easy to understand, no?
Like I keep saying. If you’re going to wipe you better make that compensation worthwhile, give us all back our EA packs and also guarantee us that the problem that caused the wipe will be dealt with promptly and swiftly. What I mean by this is don’t take weeks to deal with a problem that you could of been on in a few days and stopped before it got completely out of control to the point a wipe became necessary.
Right now IMC’s commitment to enforcement has been rather low, these forums and the fact of how long it took them to get rid of a troll spamming indecent content(porn) is proof on that… + it seems they disappear on weekends <.<;
No wipe unless they get much better about in-game enforcement and presence.
