The reason why game is broken after Lvl 75

I can safely say you did it wrong, but we all did on our 1st characters. I completely skipped the mausoleum chapel on my 1st playthrough and that area is like grinding candy. Mobs die very quickly and you can go there as early as level 65.

I plan to grind there from 65 to at least 75 maybe even 80, then continue with the quests. Grinding in the lower area’s of the mausoleum is less exp.hour since the mobs take so much longer to kill.

I was able to break down the 86 wall with exp cards.

I’ld say that’s because at the earlier levels you have less skills/attributes/items/money to support your grind (and also there’s only the level 50 instance avaible), i didn’t spend with gears before 120 and that’s the case.

Serious question: How many lv 4 cards do you get during its level curve? And how many lv 5?
Or to be more precise, how much exp does the cards cover out of the total exp required?

To use the demon prison grind as example.
From 141-175 (175 is because that’s when the next dungeon opens up), you needs about 80m exp, cards cover for 50m of it.
So you need to grind 30m somewhere during that period, and demon prison was simply way better than its competition (like 1f of mausoleum chapel)
So 30m grind in the prison (141-161 or 151-165, both of that option represents roughly 30m exp and are easier to track) and you’ll be able to avoid getting stuck before 175, lacking good grinding location (compare to demon prison) but also too high for demon prison to be efficient.

My feedback on 127 barbs. I could say this game is Tree of grinding. Even when they release the game, they will remove 3x exp, that’s mean this game will be harder to play. If you take a look on F4, your achievement, u can see the rank. Guess what? Me myself sit on rank 1100 ish rank. What is that mean? It’s mean roughly only 1k player base reach on lvl 120 and above. How many player base/character out there(in my server) ? According to my character lvl 6, that character sit on 33k rank. Did you guys see what is happening? A lot, i mean A LOT PEOPLE QUIT or STOP this game. But hey, you guys love grinding right, this game is easy as fck. NEET all of us, no job, no life. I love to grind and sit infront of my computer spam Z button for 12 hours only to reach 1 level. Cheers .

Correct my grammar if u notice any mistake.

Last time i check people on 6th rank, which is roughly level round 176, his/her character’s rank is on 18x ish. That is was only my server. Can you imagine, they sent 150k keys, only 200-300 player from each server only reach 6th rank. That is translate from 150k keys the give away, only 2-3k people only reach 6th rank. Only a few give a feedback, and the rest of us, still on mysterious journey to reach 6th rank to give our feedback. So close and yet so far.

My highest character (level 149) is at global rank 164, so i’ld supose that are about 1k characters at this 20 level gap, that’s a huge amount.

I’m a 71 priest and I’m not sure what to do. I think there are quests but I think some of the quests are bugged because I get that error when I check out those tombs on the second floor.

I’ll correct something else.

The character’s ranking is based on active characters, while the total pool (the one that dictate top 10% and such) count everything.

This is speaking from personal experience btw, I logged in right after this one maintenance and notice my ranking is higher than what I had before.
Then some time later other people who were above me started showing up and my ranking dropped back to what I was before.

Also, ranking point is NOT based on level alone, I had high rank from crafting various things, I know people who’s higher level than me but had lower ranking than me.
In fact I’m pretty sure the first group who power leveld straight to 200 didn’t even make the top 10 on my server.

I did get stuck a bit on the 70-ish mark but it was easy to backtrack and explore the map a bit and found some missed quests from maps I actually didn’t know I can visit by following the main quest. This quickly got me past that 80s level to the 90s.

Personally I have little complaint on grinding aside from the horrid field monster EXP. If they up that, we can actually grind easier to reach the next quest requirement and that would lessen the complain. Main complaint I have is actually class EXP, you know, the one that gives you skill levels. You literally have to grind, quest or whatever for hours just to get a new skill. I’m actually looking forward to getting new skills than getting a new char level. But that new skill I wanted is gonna take forever just to get.

Actually, the demon prison grind is not forced, that 30m (that’s million, not minutes) can be done at any point, it was simply that demon prison had better grinding spots than others.

If you grind 30m at demon prison, you don’t have to grind later and probably just do quest in each zone and move on.
If you don’t grind demon prison, you grind later. You won’t find spot with as much exp, but there’s good items to be found at higher level too.
(for example, people who did the prison grind have no reason to farm Shardstatue which drops Wizard Bracelet since it’s a lv 170 mob but the jump will put you to 175)

Also, since the beta’s rate is higher than release, upon release you will be grinding more.

You say you loathe the grind, but this game is going for that route.
So maybe rather than demanding the game bow down to you, how about you…y’know, leave? Find the game that fit your “I don’t want to ever grind” demand?

No thanks I will play this one and continue to laugh at anyone who goes into this kind of game expecting not to grind all that much. All you have to say is ‘Korean MMO’ and anyone with half a brain should know there is grinding involved.

All of the exp tables are available to anyone who can type, you only have yourself to blame if you hit a leveling wall and all of your EXP cards are gone.

Right, because exp tables tell you where the most effective grind spots are, right guys??!one

If you have to google the solution, it is a bad mechanic.

you do know it count as roughly? Yes, what you mention it is true but u can’t be lvl 50 with rank 1000. That is impossible.

Since you are hardcore player, good luck playing this game . I bet everyone here is love do what you do. You know, hardcore grinding everyday without get bored. Enjoy their life facing computer everyday because everyone in this world is NEET.

Well I have nothing to say about the exp card
but if the game tell you every single little thing it’ll become a very easy and boring game, you should search and explore things by yourself (be it on forum search or look for it ingame yourself)
Don’t starve don’t tell you anything, not a single thing, and it’s a very successful game

Why would I worry about archers? I have to worry enough about myself with all of you KSing everything on the map.I’m glad there’s an enemy that’s actually giving you guys a hard time.

i love this thread so much.
