I am really excited over the future of Sorcerer 3… Which job will pull the most of our summon potential.
Hype on sage if it can replicate TS summon.

If it can duplicate our summon, it’s definitely the best choice, but I highly doubt it. Though the chances of duplicating our bat seems possible.
IMO, based on what I have seen so far, for the new class, going sage mean you’ll have more defensive skill, such as blink + missile block
while going enchanter will give you LV boost, but as I mention before I don’t know how it work with our summon, assuming our summon does effect by it, currently we will be able to summon a summon that is lv5 above us.
the skill video is at this thread
I think it’s highly unlikely we’ll be able to duplicate Summoning, even if sage can duplicate summons in general because of one little thing
<-- this piece of hell that fills our second bar and drink our sp. Summoning is linked to the debuff, so sorcerer would need serious coding changes.
double summon = double sp drain lol
but so far I haven’t seen video on wiz being upload, most video are archer’s, maybe need to wait for a few more hours before someone upload one, really want to know how the new class can sync with sorc.
Familiars too have a buff icon. Don’t think that’s the real problem.
I don’t really think Sorc will be able to do double TS but I so hope for it.
From the latest video, currently sage is godlike in pvp, with the missile block skill
yeah, but familiar is already multi-summon… i mean… codewise
shouldn’t take much work to make Summoning able to be multiplied but that probably won’t happen
Sorcerer got nothing but the no-hitbox in this patch
Yes you will need many mobs together for this to work, but isn’t that the whole point of doing AOE? Not many AOE skills can do much when mobs are far from each other. This trick fixed one of the weak points of Sorc builds: no real AOE. Sorc 2 Warlock has a 2 min cd small aoe, and a hit-limited pseudo AOE, while Sorc 2 FF has blood sucking and that’s all. Now you actually can do 100% up time AOE with good damage, which hurts harder the more mobs you hit, it’s good enough.
And yes it does 20k damage over 3 second. If you are not doing that much, then you either don’t have a 10 star card, or your INT is low. This number is from my friend who has roughly 650 int and a 10 star card.
That’s definitely true, but everything comes with a price
For the SP part: SP pots are not expensive at all, compared with tens of millions of silver you may otherwise have to invest into attributes.
For the taking damage part: this can be countered with a proper build. Let’s say Cryo3 Soc 2 and Thaum 2(as R8), full Con. You can transpose into high INT to summon, and ride your summon as a full Con char (yes full INT build will have higher stats but will be much more tedious if you don’t have your personal healer). With Thaum 2 right arm buff + shield (the new 11 Con 96 MDEF 117 DEF shield from 190 dungeon is a good one), Cyro 125% MDEF from shield attribute, sub-zero shield (still works with everything in PVE last I checked) and ice tree, most mobs will not be able to do much damage to you even if you stand still (not for ET obviously), plus ice tree will get the mobs together for your AOE.
Temple shooters aoes are 30,3, and 25s with the 3 second cd, also possessing multi-hit potential while applying hard CC to enemies. It’s a lot more practical.
Especially given animation time and post-cast delay (which affects pretty much everythings 3 second CD’s a lot).
It’s a nice buff to Chap, but in use, it was simply slower than just using Temple shooter to nuke them right out, and for dangerous amounts I wanted to pop out temple shooters knockdown to curb damage.
I see your point now, it’s certainly is viable, but it will limit the build you can choose, only a few build will be able to maximize this, and we might need to choose the correct summon to do so, avoid using skill that have long animation so the enemy can’t avoid.
But with cyro3 in the build, as long as we are able to frost pillar the enemy in, we can choose to use skill that have long animation as well.
The 3 second CD skill for Templeshooter is much weaker in damage than the 3 CD for Chappariton, in most Dungeon or mobbing senario.
Chappariton’s frontal lightening is doing 20k per 3 seconds, including all the pre-post delay: when you finish, the CD is just gone.
are these cooldown changes intended, didn’t seem like it was mentioned in the patch note… or did i simply missed it?
Any Sorc-Sage vids up yet? IT’d be nice to know how Micro Dimension’s dupe attribute meshes with our summons.
So is it confirmed that summons really don’t spawn spirits if they kill mobs? That’s kinda harsh
am i able to put cards in team storage to give to alts
lf> video on the new ride skills
Yes you can. : D
/20annoyingdogs
someone pls answur me T_T
does ride skills scale on the player’s matk?
does someone have a video on how low the cooldowns are now?
You Sorcerers should test whether your SP potion will be extended by Krivis Melstis during Riding + Skill Spam. I don’t know about your SP costs, but if you have a way to replenish enough SP to cancel out the %SP drain + skillcost, Sorc2 Riding + new lower CD (3s cd) boss skill spam will easily become AoE meta (ET, Uphill defence).
Video of a Krivis3 using a pot first - Melstis buff extension after. Note the duration of the SP pot is frozen due to melstis, it will continue recovery. After melstis ends, your SP pot will tick for its remaining duration.
The character has quite high SP though - melstis drains 5% per sec on the melstis caster.
Obviously pair melstis with a diev3 invincibility buff since it is channeled.
Get r8 alchemist lvl 15 pots.
