Good god complaining about it being boring is the most idiotic way to prove your a player who doesnt like to think. The answer for you is so simple, quit the game. It is boring anyway right? I can see Chrono Linkers and Thauma Linkers for example being imo a few of the low dps combinations that have a harder time leveling that dps builds on the wizard branch.

I can’t say it bad or breaking the rule, just feel unfair for people who play support class at first…
It depend on how to use… example medicine can cure people but if use wrong way… it can be drug.
so you are saying that if they added skill resets 25% of the games population would buy it…and if they didn’t they lose 25% of said populations purchase not to mention those who say “don’t want it” will buy it lets not kid ourselves.

I’m neutral on this. If it’s happening, find by me.Now I can switch to other build I want to try after getting bore with the current one.

How its unfair for people who play support?
You will be reset to pvl ONE ot what ever class/circle you want.then you lvl up from there.
If a class reset is added to this game, I’ll no longer be playing.
…and the family level is gone, since it resets to 0 if you delete your character.
Leveling up is not hard in this game when you know how to do it. However do not forget: if you claim TP items on a char, they are bound to it… Why do you want to force people to delete these characters just because they found out later that they screwed up?
Except that not every swordman is a tank. Did you see a shinobi lurking in the shadows with a shield? I hardly doubt that. Not to mention barbarian and other 2-handed classes. These are not for tanking. Tank-Semi-Tank-DPS.

Why so . cant at last one of you people say how this will efect you in the game. Like ye you maybe no longer be in the top 5% of players but this is not what the game for.
If they would bring group exp and aoe grinding elites back in line with other forms of exp, by removing the pointlessly large exp bonus; you would see less of this, I think.
RO didnt have this, yet groups were still a prefered way to grind exp. Why does ToS need a huge exp multiplier for groups?
It just helps force people into the mindset of ‘‘we need 1 of each class, and if you dont have this or that, you are useless’’
So you do know that som classes will not be wanted.

I for now build a dragoon using HL2 and cata3.
It’s the players mindset that is mainly at fault here. But party exp bonusses and most of the exp coming from elites doesnt help.
My build is no secret, why should I post it he…oh you actually posted yours, that’s a surprise.

If the issue is not being wanted in groups, then bring that up. Resets wouldnt fix that problem.
-Increasing spawns in most high level areas
-Removing group exp bonus (especially the part where it needs all classes)
-Giving monsters more exp in general
All of these things would help with that in both short and long term. Resetting your character would be nothing more then ‘‘bending over to people bullying you’’
Ask yourself, would you rather be wanted in parties because of your build even tho you don’t enjoy playing it, or would you rather have a fun build you do enjoy; without having to be penalized by -75% exp rate? Or even better, have fun with a build you enjoy, in a group with others that do the same…without being penalized by much slower exp rates?
For me personally, I’d rather play to have fun first.

Some class dont wanted becouse they are not good at what they need to do. Like why take hunter or supper over ranger c2 or 3.why take a mage that dont have linker over one that do have it.some things just do more.
How do you even build a swordsman that isn’t somewhat tanky? We seem to just have more HP than any other base class naturally. You don’t need to take peltasta to tank, you just have to not do a full strength build, why would you do full strength anyway? it’s a swordsman, a character that fights in melee, you want higher HP so you don’t get kill from being in a horde of mobs. So long as you have a decent healer and didn’t only stat strength like an idiot, your swordsman can tank perfectly fine.

There are many sw classes which are not meant to be tanks. Shinobi is one of them. If you think shinobi is a tank… Japan will riot!
Oh and please…go to the swordman forum and tell this to everybody that they don’t have to pick peltesta if they want to be able to tank. They will laugh at you pretty hard. Why are you talking about something when you don’t know anything? Honestly… 
Also, where is the class diversity? Why should be a barbarian go and tank when he is clearly a dps just as highlander? Corsair is not even close to a tank either. Yeah, for tanking…pelt is mandatory circle pick or you are not wanted on higher levels.
If I’m wrong, just go to the swordman topic and prove it to everybody…come on, time to shine.

That’s more of a class balance and player mindset problem. Swordsman has poor DPS in most of their trees. There’s a reason why people want tanks and not DPS in a lot of cases.
It was like this in the CBT with Linker. It was so over-centralizing that you had to get it. After a few reasonable nerfs, Linker is still great but by no means mandatory. If Peltasta is seen as mandatory for party play, then that’s a balance issue, not a class reset issue.
