Quests ruined ToS

Well currently no one is happy lol. You have to quest till you run out then once you get a little into the 200’s you have to grind.

Which I’m worried about, since I’m 172 now and steadily climbing. I’ve also been told the 200+ dungeons aren’t that great. So honestly I’m not very excited…

I think they should do a Founders survey and see how people feel about it, to be honest. Although I think us quest people are the minority.

Wait when did i pass you

the higher dungeons aren’t bad exp per say (atleast the ones i have tried). The Xp per mob is fine but the enemy density in the higher dungeons seems like it has gone down a lot.

Also the best solution is probably remove stats/weight potions rewards from quests, and make them available at the wings of viboria npc at certain lvl thresholds. Then add quests for the higher lvls.

This way quest people can quest.

and the grinders like me aren’t forced to do the quests if we don’t want to.

I’m leveling 2 alts and very active in a discord as well, it’s not surprising. Also I dunno about you, but I work 40 hours a week, lol.

Thats probably why i only have 1 alt, and i don’t give it all that much time.

So true, grinding is grinsing but doing the same boring quests again… Ugh!

Either do it the new way with little grinding and all end game content or just let us grind it out. This halfway inbetween stuff is pleasingno one.

Density and spawn rates. It can’t only be server-related which leads me to believe they did this intentionally to slow down bots during early access. Could be wrong but look…

If anyone recalls the closed betas the mob density and respawn rate were several times more than they are now in most maps. It was much more enjoyable with those rates. They did keep the same quantity in certain choke points like 1st Demon Prison but the quality is terrible everywhere.

My honest question is how do low spawn rates in higher level maps punish botters more than real players? I don’t understand.

Biolab? I love how people talk ■■■■ about ro without even knowing the differences between the game. RO party grind was the easiest ■■■■ ever. Wanted to do thor? Get a steel body champion, abyss lake? Get a steel body champion to get agro+ice wall if needed. Almost any hard content was made a joke due to steel body(mental strength) unless the mob had dispell or spiral pierce, which not many had.

They say ToS is a grindy mmorpg,
but we have low density/spawn rates and monsters are weak… so everyone is going to play solo because you dont have better option, doing your daily missions/dungeons and just wait for another day >.>
We need the grind option, high spawn monster rate and challenging monsters, so people will start playing together, not just daily missions

Im pretty sure there doing it to slow everyone down. Because 280 is not the final max lvl and right now they are not pumping out content they are trying to make things work. So they don’t really want people getting to the “end game” quickly.

But this is all speculation.

Its not about how “easy” it was. It was about needing heavy teamwork to do that. You tell me how can a steel body champion get exp solo. He cant. While pure support in ToS can level up just fine.

Also it weeded out the bots, and made partying fun.

well i wouldn’t say just fine. They can lvl but its slow going.

You might be right on that to an extent. Beacuse why else would we get less for dungeon and mission entrances also? I mean they defiently oknow they got alot of things to fix atm.

Yeah equally likely. Seems like they went about this all backwards if thats the case. I mean adjusting spawn rates instead of the xp curve itself…c’mon. One step forward and two steps back.

So they’re basically spitting on their playerbase because of their own inhabitability to provide content.
That’s not what I would call a nice conduct.

Its actually industry normal conduct lol.

I will keep what I think of the industry normal conduct and how I’m giving them back for myself :stuck_out_tongue:

You telling me the 10-15 quests you have to do from 1-280 to retrieve those statpoint are questing?

You can opt out of doing it anyway. You don’t have to, you only have to if you want to fully cap out your character.

lets not pretend like stat points are a optional things you can just ignore :unamused:

If the game did not lag I wouldent have talked so much to ramdoms. I made a few friends that way. Thanks dude, i feel enlightened.
