Possible Mergen build comparation

Hi all after made some research i’ve find that there few viable builds for mergen. And i would like to know pro and cons, and know if there is one better overall.

This are the builds i’m considering:
Fletcher variant:

fletcher3mergen for 300million HP worldbossing (lack of AOE)

falcon-mergen for any PVE aspect that doesnt include worldbossing (lack of WB-ing)

fletcher,wugu,sapper need to restock their ammunition regularly

not mention ranger3
ranger1+rogue+xxx or ranger1 with other main class is superior
ranger3 could work due 20% steady aim burst

What do you think about A3 R3 falconer mergen?

Single target is good thx by ms 15 + barrage 15 + twin arrow + spiral arrow.

Very high number of hit in a short window of time.

i find this build by research about A2 R3 Ro1 Falc Mergen.

But as i ask in other topic have find out that barrage provide me more dps only in single target and lose in the AoE. capture is 3 min CD so is good on boss but this is a PvE char more than world boss i think i can live without.

I prefer have low dmg on WB and make in a future a toon for WB but have solid AoE sinergy, more than be good at more things at same time.

All those single target skills cant compete with a lvl15 Broadhead + lv10 Magic Arrow.

The sapper solution sounds okayish, even tho, Broomtrap’s CD is f. terrible.

Fletcher3/Mergen still the best option, imo

Edit: You not gonna outDPS a fencer single target wise. You can forget that anyway.

Yes i know that i will not compare on single target with a flercher.

I have play fletcher c3 and had awsome skills but his play style is too stationary for me.

I prefer lose single target damage for more utility and AoE.

Depending on c2 and 3 mergen we will be able to compare the ranks before and decide optimal mergen setup
Before that i will follow a build i like and give me fun

Even if underwhelming at last i will test and exclude it

barrage15 doesn’t good as barrage5 with feint

lv5 = 250
lv15 = 543

it’s 293 base damage different trade with 2 circle

good things is you get lv15 steady aim that make mergen skill more bursty

i not mention ranger3 unless they are sr3 or they want to burst things

What is the best falconer build and why?

Team play PvE oriented / oriented more to AoE and skip single target.

I’ve exp my new char to rank 3 lvl 15 now i have to chose new rank to go on.

i can’t play untill i plan complete build

best falconer build of course must include falconer3 inside

i mean falcon mergen not falcon c3 if you go mergen max rank in falcon is c2 and compared to c1 is useless only circling + 5lv is good

If you want to solmiki with your mergen, I would strongly consider putting has many points in steady aim as u can, aka give up on other class fillers.

Nothing is gonna buff your damage has a +5% dmg selfbuff . Nothing.

Anyway, both mergen and hacka suffer from the same problem, if they dont go Fletcher, they rank 7 filler is trash.

If they do go fletcher, they rank 4 filler is bad (scout or ranger 2)

Honestly, the only thing that I can think for your rank 7 filler is either rogue1 for feint or scout 1…

General speaking:

A3 is much worst then any extra filler of ranger, rogue1 or scout1
rogue1 is much worst of any extra filler of ranger (see steady aim point)
scout1 is cool but gives no DPS
wugu I would know why I should ever pick it for 5man contest over any of the fillers above (sry diehard wugu players, but in PvE there is no place for such a class)

You can say feint is cool all day long, is just worst then steady aim. You can love scout, it gives you no DPS, you can like wugu, I will discuss about it when I will understand what that class gives to us.

Sorry guys, I do main 2 archers but we have to be honest, we are the worst R8 character, if you dont go A2R3SR3 we either have to REALLY min max or we are just playing for fun which is totally fine, but if you ask me suggestion for BiS fillers I try to give you the best answer to min/max, otherwise I think is kinda useless to discuss.

Remember, there are 2 things that make archer a good class atm:

a) steady aim
b) retreat shot

Steady aim simply stack with GM card ?or is like base dmg 5k+steady aim = 6k +GM?

Steady Aim is a tier 2 multiplier, so it goes up after having added all T1 modiers.

Generally speaking

(T1a+T1b+T1x)*(T2a+T2b+T2x)

and is GM card effect t1 or t2 ?

Multiplied by steady aim, given that is not even a skill multiplier but a P.atk multiplier it will always go 1st (even before Tier 1 modifiers).

Keep in mind that right now in ktos card stacking got nerfed to 5x, so yeah, that’s another nerf to archer… Like we needed it -.-

ok i got so will be at the end of line steady aim giving +20% of the final dmg?

but both build are good A2SAP2R1 and A2R3

as you sayd, lose +10% only steady aim and fillers are useless.

But sapper filler not are useless.

We’re mergren with 2 hand bow and have good dmg on flying. So a wide range AoE that can be captured can be good for sustain AoE dmg.

Also Claymore have sinergy with circling. Is base dmg 300% and at c2 have attribute for + 2.5 time dmg

also puji stake + circling combo.

Sapper can be less worth for solo play. But we’re talking about solomki ET and future r9/10 PvE content.

So i think is reasonable skip +10% steam aim, +10 lvl barrage + spiral arrow for those bonus that in team work much better than solo without scout.

I will make a video with 1 glassmole lvl 10 card on some of my Alts to show you both with or without steady AIM to make things as easy as possible, better then sharing sources I guess :wink:
