Full Damage Shinobi PvE Only

There are three Shinobi builds that are meta in kTOS at the moment, from what I’ve read.

What they all have in common is Hop2 for Spear Lunge (pierce damage) and Finestra (crit rate). Since Kunai is pierce, and is the most powerful burst damage skill Swordsmen have, they build around maximizing Kunai burst.

Full Burst Shinobi

S3 -> Hop2 -> Dop1 -> Shinobi

Since clones use your Soldier skills, you need Double Slash for them to do the most damage they can. Hoplite 2 is for Spear Lunge and Finestra as mentioned before. Doppel is for Deeds of Valor to stack with Spear Lunge.

You really need a Chronomancer since outside of Kunai and Shadow Clone burst, your damage is pretty bad.

Off-Tank Shinobi

S1 -> P1 -> Hop3 -> Dop 1 -> Shinobi

Pretty much the same as the first build, but you get P1 instead of S3, and that forces you to go Hop3.

Your shadow clones don’t hit as hard, but you still have Spear Lunge + DoV + Kunai burst.

Corsair Shinobi

S1 -> P1 -> Hop2 -> C2 -> Shinobi

DWA assault for sustained auto attack damage after your Kunai burst. Your Kunai burst is weaker without Deeds of Valor and your Shadow Clones weaker without Double Slash, but you aren’t reliant on a Chronomancer to reduce cooldowns to sustain damage over time.

why is corsairs going shinobi a funny thing?

It has synergy with Double Weapon Assault and Hex Dropper. It has more chances on crit rate. It has fast-attack thing you know.

Lol at the most crappy build i have been seen for the hoplite c1 corsiar c2… u should be going hoplite c2 for the spear buff dude then go doppel c1

Perhaps, I was just thinking about the Bunshin Clones if they can really replicate the Swordsman’s active skills if the main activates an active skill.
I was thinkin’ about going Dopple too. But i have no idea if i go Highlander 1st or not. I was thinkin’ about a build that doesn’t utilize Clones as well.

I know Deeds of Valor is a buff provides attack speed and additional attack bonus but reducing a percentage of your physical defense. I’m sorry but I didn’t really get it why a Kunai needs the Deeds of Valor unless Kunai can be stacked up with offensive buffs…well that thing i can understand… please need your help on this

Kunai is a skill. Its a multihit aoe that is similar to the Ranger Barrage.

They’re stacking offensive buffs (Finestra, Deeds of Valor), with offensive debuffs (Spear Lunge) to make Kunai hit extremely hard.

I dont like spear throw, so I thought that bonus silver from jolly roger would be good. Doppel on rank 6 because its amazing. Best aoe skill, best steroid. Plus, I see spear shinobi as boss killer specialist, so double pay earn on bosses should be a very good addition.

Great job adding that point regarding Mokuton no Jutsu there Stormwolf Didn’t realize that the attribute is more beneficial if the skill is at level 2

What do you mean ?
You can Learn The attribute even at level 1.

ei no. you need to have at least level 2 in order to learn the attribute for additional duration. check it out in tosbase.com

Nope. You read it Wrong @_@
It’s mean at level 1 attribute give you 4s bind
from level 2 attribute and forth will give additional +1s / level
So at level 5 it’ll give 8s bind
