New 340 HG hardcore FPS drop (AMD processor-related?)

Bug Description : FPS drops from 100+ to 1,5 - 3,7 when entering the new Nazarene Tower Hunting Grounds.
I even deleted my client and reinstalled it, and it still happens, only on this map, all other maps have normal FPS values. It happened regardless how many players were in the channel.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. go to Nazarene Tower
  2. enter the map
  3. notice the FPS drop in comparison to elsewhere

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Joypad

System

  • CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 965
  • RAM : 20 GB DDR3
  • Graphics Card : AMD Radeon R7 200
  • Mainboard : GIGABYTE GA-890XA-UD3, Chipset: AMD 790X (RD780) + SB810/SB850
  • Storage : 4 TB
  • OS : Windows 7 64 bit
  • Internet Connection : doesn’t matter, as it happens only on 1 specific map
  • Country, Region : Germany

My guess is that it has to do sth with the little light balls flickering in the background, overworking non-hardcore graphic cards. It would be nice if they could be disabled somehow so that people can farm even with non-gaming hightech computers.

Please increase the drop rates of unique level 350 equipment in fields until you resolve the lvl 340 Hunting Grounds issue

I have the same issue. My FPS is dropping to 1.5 - 2 while on that map (fine on any other map). I was excited to farm new items but that is unplayable.

Yeah, i have the same problem here. First i tought was a problem on the new maps, but all the other new areas run smooth, but the tower ps drop to hell

Amd x4 965 also
Tried all settings on and of, low resolution. high resolution, any character but nothing happens just 3-8 fps issue

Don’t even bother reinstalling ToS, this is an AMD issue with the game and IMC needs to fix it.

I just hope there will be some changes applied, because while AMD might not be so common in Korea, they are very common in Europe, and they were the best processors back in the days when there was no good Intel icore.

I guess they should add Intel core to the system requirements if they are unwilling to enable all game content for all processor types…

Not sure if this helps but. It works fine for me:
Intel i5 (Linux/Wine).

So yeah, might really be AMD related.

Same issue, ~500ms 1-2fps AMD Athlon™ II x2 220 processor. All other maps run fine.
