TLDR:
Xbow + Mana-mana is better than 2Hand Bow2Hand Bow is for Flying
BIS Crossbow:
Didel Grand Cross (untradable and can be obtain in Lvl240 Saalus Convent Dungeon) - best if your crit rate is 60% above
SKC + Briquetting (Weapon Buff) - budget friendly crossbow - best if your crit rate is less than 60%
I just put the spreadsheets in text.
These are BIS with personal choice:
-if you are Fletcher3 the best for you might be Isbality +15 - because most of the World Bosses are dark
-if you are using Rogue2/3 and using Backstab, its pretty obvious Karacha Crossbow +15 for x3 Karacha set damage
-if you are QS3, or other archer class, use DGC +15.
DGC is the best for you.
IMO, the best best best best crossbow is DGC, because of its high base damage, high critical attack damage.
FAQ:
-Why there are a lot of ppl using Karacha Crossbow?
------ its because they have it, and mainly for +1 movespeed.
-Why there are ppl using Superior Kracked Shooter/Crossbow?
-------its because its cheap. cheap bow and cheap upgrade
-I already got Karacha Crossbow/Catacombs Shooter Cross bow, do I need to change at lvl220?
-------its really up to you. upgrade it to +7/8 (to lessen the missile penalty), then if you hunt down or got SKS, and if you still have millions, then upgrade it to +10, or invest it in attributes, and wait to get DGC.
Well I know if I fight ground mobs, xbow+sub will do better, but honestly I don’t really care for mobs (not bosses) since I’ll probably never fight a huge density of mobs except for grinding (Fletcher would never be taken into ET, no?), and in grinding I don’t really care if I do good damage or not since I have an Elementalist friend.
The question is just for fighting boss, I don’t care about normal mobs…

Yeah but don’t forget my maga bow have quite far higher base patk compare to my not-bought-yet Isbality. Not trying to argue though but I think enhancement level also affect the damage formula, no?
the only reason why Crossbow + Mana-mana will outdamage any 2HandBow vs non-flying is because of the +278 elemental attack of Mana-mana, so get mana-mana as soon as possible since its BIS for archers, and the stats are too good to be true. lol
Get first Mana-mana, then if you are using Seimos Bow, try to upgrade it to +8 or more, it might be enough to carry you to lvl220, then work on your Isbality +10, and it should be enough. if you need damage booster, just get the weapon buff from merchants.

I just state +15 as BIS weapon for Fletchers. for not wanting to switch anymore to other crossbow. but anyway +10 would be fine just to reduce the missile penalty vs monsters (not sure what is the exact +upgrade for 0% penalty haven’t got any chance to find it).
archers still have the penalty missile adjusted by the refinement of the weapon?

isbality bonus damage is 340 and have 3 slot socket for green gem , mana2 35 crit rate + one socket green gem , 32 + 32 + 32 + 35 + 42 = 173 crit rate this huge boost for your dps too

SKC is still better than Isbality if the boss is not demon. If all you care about is demon bosses, then get the Isbality. For other bosses, SKC will deal more damage by quite a large margin.
Ideally you kinda want all three (Maga, SKC/DGC, Isbality) so that’s something to shoot for I suppose. And yes, Mamark is correct you do want the Manamana first otherwise you’d be better off with the Maga Bow.
For catacombs shooter, one of its additional stats is +31 physical atk.
and it reads 276-305.

Anyway someone on reddit wanted Grajus specifically for Cerberus when compared to the other 3 weapons, so…
quite confused with the most recent comments and even with the tl;dr. where do i start? which of the recommended weapons should i buy first? i’m already 204 and i’m still using +5 level 120 2h bow and crossbow +arde. and buying windlass or the cheapest 2h bow isnt much of an upgrade. should i save up for maga first or crossbows? fletcher 2 btw.
i find khasti is a good compromise for the 2H slot balancing damage and cost.
You want to save as much as possible for manamana, and its better throwing the 300k for a khasti instead of 2-3mil for a maga imo.
-Get/save mana-mana first
-if you want more damage, upgrade your Seimos Crossbow to at least +8 to lessen damage penalty
-Isbality is quiet easy to find, you are Fletcher, so you might need this for boss hunting
-SKC is cheap lvl220 crossbow, so its also easy to have one
As said by Lyralei, ideally you should have multiple bows:
SKC - vs normal mobs
Isbality - vs Demon monster
MagaBow/Khasti Bow (depends on your budget) - vs Flying
Mana-mana - is a must
I am recommending DGC as crit can be easily boosted specially if you have A2/Ro on your class.

Based on your comment and Mamark’s explanations, I should use my Maga Bow in every condition until I got Mana-mana right?
And as for the xbow, I don’t really want to save more than one xbow, well so far I can guarantee a cube when I fight demon or non demon WBs just with my Maga Bow so I think I would probably just go for SKC since it’s cheaper, need to dump my silvers on my attributes.
And the conclusion I got is:
-Save up for Mana-mana
-Use my Maga Bow until I get the Mana-mana
-Get SKC and start to upgrade it
-I’m done

And as for Mamark (sorry don’t know how to multiple reply), I don’t keep a single xbow as for now and I’m already 230+

Yeah. The SKC+Manamana won’t outdamage your +12 Maga Bow until the SKC is something like +8.
Better if you have an alchemist and extra money to try for +10% damage from Briquette.
