vvr for hunter and falconner equip directly into the pet
This would be genius if it worked omg
No class knows the terrors of class-specialized equipment made on the wrong equipment more than Monks ⌠like what the heck was IMC thinking when they made Skiaclipse Mace as a 1H-Mace instead of 2H-Mace? I get nightmares whenever I think of Monk Vaivora being 1H-Mace, or if it will ever be made.
Plot twist, IMC pulls the 900IQ and makes Monk Vaivora a shield.

I doubt theyâd ever bother, but I donât see why they donât just remove weapon requirement limitations on vaivora to allow them to be equipped on any main weapon within that base class out now and going forward in the future.
Just buff 1h vai fixed stats up to par with 2hâs⌠it isnât like its going to make 1h classes broken lmao
Thereâs already plenty of minimum requirements and beneficial reasons to pick 2h over 1h, or vice versa in any general base class build, I donât see why they should keep forcing an unnecessary restriction on ichors and doubling down on the requirements when theyâre already unflexible enough
Yes but I doubt that it is the only thing they are working in these 4, 5 months since the update of the giltine arrived on the Korean server. I can only imagine at what level the vaivoras will reach until they launch all weapons.
As long as the Monk vaivora would somehow allow for the same attack as a two handed mace+trinket+weapon maintenance, for example by boosting your STR by a certain % like the Wugushi attribute (in Monks case,it would have to be something akin to 60-80%,though,without a cap) a one hand Monk vaivora would actually be something useful. Right now there is just no way for a Cleric that wants to deal any damage to go back to the old one hand mace + shield, which is ridiculous looking at the balance patches that went over the game since the introduction of two handed maces.
Right now, looking at the way the damage is calculated, they could even make one hand maces have -50% Cool down on all skills and the damage would still be worse because of the high defense of endgame monsters that give you 40-50% more damage with the attack difference from trinket and weapon maintenance on top of the higher attack of the two handed weapon.
On top of that, they reduced the value of block and defense because of wipe mechanics that deal amounts of damage beyond the realm of good and evil, and, what most people tend to forget, the heavy reduction of maximum HP by adjusting CON, Squires camp buff foods, Ein Sof and the amount of CON one can receive from endgame equipment like lucifieri accessories(which is lower than Drakonas equipment), demon/goddess ichors (which is at ~ the same level of lvl 380 Ignas plate set fixed ichors), cards (no green cards better than Blut in terms of CON).
The tankiness that came from shield mostly came from the high amounts of HP coupled with block reducing the damage by 100%, which both are no longer valid, and lots of equipment already gives so much damage reduction that shield on top of that doesnât make a huge difference anymore, making shield completely obsolete since it just takes longer to kill, giving the enemy more time to kill you.
Itâs also not beneficial for the nature of endgame content that caters to faster clear times (guild raids like Giltine/Boruta, Challenge Mode, Singularity, Joint Strike, Weekly Boss Rush), meaning shields are useless for anyone aside from tanks and healers.
If the Monk vaivora could end this trend by providing equal attack values with one hand mace + shield and two handed mace and set Monk up as a sturdy attacker with a shield[which is needed if he wants to spam Energy Blast] in contrast to the frail burst attacker Inquisitor Iâm all for it, dividing these two in this way could provide hugely beneficial for Monk to get its own identity back.
If that happens, hello to new AA meta, QS, ARBA, Falconer! Oh wait, 2H bowsâŚhmmm
To be fair, it is possible to DPS with 1H-Mace + Shield ⌠with a Chaplain. Whether players want to invest in that route is a different story, I guess.
Going by that notion though, I rather have Monk Vaivora as a Trinket that allows me to dual-wield Trinkets and abandon having to hold weapons altogether while still having the same attack as 2H-Mace + Trinket + etc
. I personally didnât think too much or far ahead about the kind of Vaivora IMC should make for Monk or what it does, I just simply wish it is a Vaivora that opens up a playstyle that allows Monks to finally abandon Inquisitor for other classes (like Druid, future Krivis or Chaplain etc) instead of being forced with it all the time, though its already annoying enough that Iâm expecting an equipment to do that instead of expecting IMC to do a proper rework.
As much as I like how great Nirvana Energy Blast is for mobbing, to be honest I really wish IMC changes it up or something. Not a fan of the Energy Blast spamming and the fact that Energy Blastâs burst synergy is on an Inquisitor skill (Malleus Maleficarum) that no one usually adds.
Honestly bro. I am really hoping imc does the right thing and make both wugushi and falconers vaivora a subwep. Speaking of which if I remember correctly, back then there were two weapons for wugushi, I forgot what the shield is called but the dagger was venom⌠hopefully they make it a dagger and xbow though. I feel like this what they would be pushing for after creating synergy between Arba and wugushi.
no, that was never a shield, but a bow called viper https://tos.neet.tv/items/163104 Wugushi BiS weapon
Alchemist Vaivora should allow to craft elixirs without shards.
Alchemist vaivora allows to make homunculus againâŚ
Sadly, so far the developers donât plan to make any vaivoras for the yellow classes, but maybe they will be released one day with a reasonable benefit, although the classes have to become viable, first.
The only use they have is GVG support(sturdier barricades and siege weapons & can actually repair them) and being shops in town (or fields,Squire has the ominous base camp and food table),which is sad. The developers wonât even give their damage skills notable skill factors (20.000% before attributes and arts should be fine if these classes are to be used on actual content), forcing people to reset into these classes after leveling up far enough to learn all the attributes & arts required.
Templar will probably suffer a similar fate with either a bad vaivora or no vaivora at all.
Imagine if templar vaivora just added basic functionality like using mount skills on horses. Yeah wouldnât surprise me considering you need an Arts to use skills on foot.
my dream buff alch and bring homun back u-u
Everyone upvote this please. We need infinite sp elixir.
The price of this vaivora would be 1 billion for sure if thatâs the effect .
@4lkruzeth How does the new Aukuras work in combination with Piety?
Is the brilliance debuff generated from Aukuras on the enemy close to it permanent, so you can always use Piety when you are close to the enemy?
Or do you have to use Divine Stigma and Zaibas to apply the brilliance debuff, too?
You can use both Aukuras and your skills (Zaibas and Divine Stigma) to debuff enemies with 5s duration Brilliance debuff and hit anyone near you (the range is huge enough to mob with) thatâs debuffed by it with Piety. Basically, you have options ⌠though Aukuras 1-pointer for a QoL debuff application skill is far more than enough. Aukuras constantly applies the debuff to enemies within its range AKA permanent kind-off, and enemies leaving Aukurasâs range still suffer from the debuff for 5s.
During kTest, Aukuras only lasted 30s leaving the need for your skills to debuff for Piety, but its changed to 30 minutes after being brought to kToS so ⌠yeah.
That sounds good. I donât think leveling Zaibas makes much sense if you have a lot of AoE already, though. Iâd rather want to max Aukuras for the additional damage boost for the whole party (about 26k if I calculated that right) since I have nearly no downtime on damage.
Oh yeah before thinking about going that route, Aukuras, or rather Krivis, got changed a little bit going from kTest into kToS as Iâve mentioned before, including some functions.
From what I recall, Aukurasâs uptime was changed from 30s to 30min, and its additional damage was changed from being a party additional damage buff for anyone within range into an additional damage self-buff, and the additional damage goes directly to your auto-attack (need more confirmation if it bypasses additional damage stat window, if its an additional damage line etc, no one in kToS really plays around with additional damage shenanigans). Also, Divine Stigmaâs defense ignore got changed from 20% to 5%.
