Ok so I just did some surface-level testing on the new Shadowmancer “Shadow absorption” mechanic.

Each time you hit with a shadowmancer skill, you get a number of stacks for 20sec: image

At 20 stacks(the maximum), Condensation becomes 1 single bead, that deals a lot more damage.

(big range, 5 hits)

Shadow Fetter range increased, targets with fetter debuff count as ground-type for shadowmancer skills, and you get double the amount of Absorption stacks when attacking targets with Shadow skills.

(Thorns and Conjuration working on a flying target thanks to Fetter debuff)

Weekly Boss Raid

Added a new type of content called "Weekly Boss Raid."
Weekly Boss Raid is a new team-wide content where you compete against other players of the same base class series to deal as much total damage as possible.

1. Entry Conditions and Terms

Total Players: 1
Entry Time: Anytime between Monday 06:00 and Sunday 23:59
Level Requirement: Level 440 or higher
Total Entries

  1. Every team can enter 5 times per week.
  2. You can enter additional times by using a [Weekly Boss Raid Entry Ticket].

※ The entry count is reset at 06:00 every Monday.

Entry Location: You can enter through the Content Status UI menu (F10). Select [Weekly Boss Raid] and press the [Enter] button.

※ You cannot enter the content while in a dungeon or PVP area.

2. Completing the Weekly Boss Raid
After entering, you have 20 seconds to prepare.

After the waiting time, a boss monster will appear, and the fight will begin.

You will have 7 minutes to fight the monster, and it will end if your character dies or time runs out.

You will be able to see your total damage dealt to the boss monster, including damage dealt on a per skill basis while you fight.

You can leave the raid by pressing the [Abandon] button during the fight.

※ If you abandon early, your damage total will not be saved and your entry count will not be deducted.

Boss monsters will start to recover their HP when it reaches a certain amount.

Boss monsters will have diminishing returns on debuffs during the raid.

※ These diminishing returns follow the same rules as player versus player combat.

3. Seasons
Weekly Boss Raids are conducted and ranked on a per week basis. We call these “seasons.”

Each season, the boss monsters, maps, mechanics, and rewards will change, and the boss monsters will have different attributes, race, and armor types.

The boss monster you will fight, their mechanics, and the rewards for the current season will be listed in the Weekly Boss Raid tab.

※ The season starts every Monday at 06:00. It ends the following Sunday at 23:59.

4. Ranking
Weekly Boss Raids are ranked based on the [Highest Total Damage] dealt.

The [Highest Total Damage] for any given team is based on their best single attempt for a season.

The ranking is broken down on a per base-class basis, and your team can only rank for one base-class ranking, based on whichever one was your highest score.

5. Rewards
Weekly Boss Raids will provide a reward based on the sum of your total damage dealt during all your weekly attempts, and rewards based on your rank (which is determined by your highest score in a single attempt, across all attempts).

5-1. Total Damage Rewards
Total Damage Rewards are based on the sum of your damage across all attempts to the boss monster for the current season. When you reach the damage thresholds below, you can immediately receive these rewards through the [Total Damage Rewards] button, and you will also receive all rewards for lower damage values as well.

Guild Territory Wars Improvements

Rules have been changed for Guild Territory Wars.

1. The stacking Guardian buff for owning a spot has been changed.
The Guardian buff now stacks based on how long a given character has stayed within the map that has been captured.

(Example: A guild captures a map. A character in that guild stays on the map and gets the Tier 5 Guardian buff. If they leave and re-enter the map, they will have their buff reset back to the Tier 1 Guardian buff. They must stay on the map to continue to stack the buff and keep the buff.)

2. Leaving to character select while within a spot area now has a different effect.

Member of a guild that owns the spot

  1. Must now wait 30 seconds before going to character select.
  2. Upon logging back in the character, you will be returned to the same location within the map you logged off in.

Member of a guild that does not own the spot

  1. Must now wait 30 seconds before going to character select.
  2. Upon logging back in the character, you will be returned to a nearby city.

3. The method for applying the invincibility buff when entering a spot area has been changed.
Upon entering the map, you will remain invincible for 15 seconds. If you move or jump without waiting for at least 10 seconds, or use a basic attack/skill, the buff will be removed after 5 seconds.

4. Added a new warp option when leaving a spot area through an NPC (such as the map movement arrow or a portal).
You will be given an option to move to the location of your Guild Tower in addition to simply moving to the adjacent map.

Personal Housing

Personal housing has been added. Personal housing is content for your team that allows you to customize your own house, collect housing points, and access many different features.

There are three types of items to customize your house: furniture, carpet, and wall decorations.

You can obtain furniture and wall decorations by paying silver to furniture stores. Carpet can be obtained by chance by using personal housing points.

You can place your housing items by right-clicking on the item in edit mode or from your inventory. You can move or remove the items in edit mode, or remove them all at once by clicking the “Remove All” button. Removed items are returned to your inventory.

Walls decorations can be placed on a wall, and you can decide the layer at which they are applied at the time of placing the item. You can change the layer by using the mouse wheel with ctrl.

※ Some items can only be placed in specific directions.

You can place carpet items even after placing furniture items.

How to use Personal Housing

Players with a team level of 5 or higher can speak to the city’s Residential Helper Kupole to begin using personal housing.
image
You can find the kupole in each city in the following locations:
(Left to right: Klaipeda, Orsha, Fedimian)
image image image

In order to use personal housing, you must first activate the feature by speaking to the kupole. You may freely enter and exit your personal housing afterwards. You will also earn some personal housing items as a reward upon activating the feature.

How to enter your personal house

To enter your house, talk to the Residential Helper Kupole and select “Move to personal house.” You can also move to another player’s personal house, which requires you be in a party with that other player and them having activated the feature.

Various types of points

There are various kinds of points associated with personal housing:

Personal Housing Points
After activating personal housing, you will earn 10 points every 30 minutes after accessing it, and you can exchange these points for personal housing items. You can collect up to 1,000 points per team.

Placement Points
When placing personal housing items, placement points will accumulate. You can find the placement point gain of items in their tooltips.

Personal Housing Stage
Accumulating enough placement points will eventually raise the level of your personal housing. This adds new feature that you can use your personal housing points for.

※ You can check the different kinds of housing points by typing /personalhousing in chat.

Marnox emotes only for JTOS at the moment. Only the first one is actually implemented on the server so far that I can see, so the rest are ripped from the internet and not perfect quality.

The new content seems very nice and interesting. Which will hopefully bring more things for players to do instead of doing our current repetitive dailies and legend raids lol.

So many awesome ideas implemented!

:haha: :haha: :haha:

I keep saying it but I love the guys behind the game and their ideas! I especially love the boss drops like costumes, and that houses are coming!

Can’t wait

Hey thanks IMC, it’s not like I wanted my shadowmancer class to risk having synergies with others anyway.

Sigh.

These look amazing, I seriously hope Rexipher and Solcomm are costumes and not something weird like the Helga chair.

Oh yeah and uh

Whew

The future of TOS is to remove all skill and class synergies REEEEEE
