Yes, I tried leather for quite some time but in the later content, saluus covenant for example, or ossaeua memorial and maven abby you get absolutely torched. Its better to just go with a full set of Grynas Plate armor, if you socket 4 tier5 hp gems on the body/legs, have a max peta and only carry 60 base CON that set will still give you over 17,000 HP endgame and offers good magical defense and darkness resistance, aswell as protect you from the massive spike damage of archer mobs spamming spiral arrow etc. This build is a heavy STR build so you will still occasionally get hit and in end game 1 hit can result in 5k, lv220 superior bandit boots enhanced to +5 with x2 tier5 evasion gems = 175 EVA, grynas plate boots enchanced to +5 with x2 tier5 evasion gems = 150 EVA so you really donât lose much evasion and get a big trade off going plate, the physical damage reduction and additional hp is vastly superior.
I got 150 points invested in str right now and 55 points free to use.

Like 60 Dex and 60 Con seems a good choice here if i got you guys right.
But what will i put my actual 55 points in right nowâŚwhat gives me more advantage in lvling this char.
I will hit the roxona grind in 1 hour and already got the Khasti Bow but NO good gear (but all plate so far).

again you really only need a total of 60 CON and DEX, put everything else into STR - if you feel later on that 60 DEX isnât enough you can always add 10 star ellaganos cards for increments of 10 dex, but 60 CON wont be an issue, as ive stated in detail in the previous post your health wont be an issue at roughly 17k
(donât worry about your gear, the grynas set is free just time consuming, until then roxona plate armor is fine and the mats are very easy to get, you just need to get the 2 complex gears and dulla frags but even those are all below 200k each now)

You have managed to get this far with full STR afterall. (I admire you for that!)
In lv 220++ maps grinding in party will give you faster exp than solo grinding. With healer in your party, CON isnât an issue here.
Better start ASAP getting friends from each job, you will have easier time to looking for party in the future.
Just remember our role as archer, we are back row ranged attacker, dont go head on tanking all the damage.

Getting to this point with full str was not that big deal at allâŚbut at 170 is such a damage boost from mobs, that i had to overthink the FullSTR path.
For example, those archers on Nuoridin Falls will take you down with two hits (with up-to-date quest gear).
You sure kill them extremely fast, but when there are more than 3 of them nearby, you are instantly dead.
Mobs aside from archers are a little bit less of a problem by now, but even they begin to hit a lot harder since 170.
I tried to live the dreamâŚand maybe there is a way for end-gear to compensate FullSTR in a proper wayâŚbut lvling up is just too hard (at least for me).
There is a way to ease up your leveling: by partying, whether it is grinding or questing. With this you can also fill every mapâs monster kill quota much faster too, which give exp card per monster type from vibora NPC.
Donât rely too much on solo-ing everything.
Complete Virtov plate set will give you +3837 HP
Max level plate mastery will give you +1700 HP
Thereâs still hope!
FullSTR path is hard but not impossible!
leveled a dex and a str one. the str one is dead in seconds on diferent maps. because of having zero defense. The dex one however is pretty much impossible to kill, specially against archer monsters it hardly gets any dmg on him. I wouldnât level a full str archer class anymore after epxeriencing it.
LOL wanna know what your dps ranking is face down, ya its 0. If you show up to saluus with 4 CON you will be dead about 84% of every run and be kicked inbetween the 1st and 2nd run. You can still get nearly 500 STR by carrying 60 con and dex, you guys might want to play this 270+ before advising people to go full STR.

nah its just a visual bug they are still there and so are the effects, excrulon has an addon atm gimemcards, or something like that, that fixes the bug, god knows when imc will fix it

Just a question. If you were a scout c1/ranger c1, with rogue capture+flarelvl5 or feint+barragelvl5, would you guys up the attribute of flare and barrage?
