It’s just that I can’t think of a reason why Spiral Arrow gets a special treatment when it comes to multi-hit skills that are actually just considered a single hit.

You are correct in that Spiral Arrow is a single hit skill with a hidden 600% modifier. I went and tested this with my manamana just now and the damage difference always comes out to be 1.67k and always applied to the initial first hit. Secondary hits (ticks 2 through 5) had the same variance with or without manamana.

The easiest way to tell how a skill behaves is to look at how the target’s HP is modified as it takes damage. If the HP bar moves in a single instance, the skill is faux-multi hit.

Multi-shot for example is a true multi-hit ability as a target’s HP bar will tick down multiple times.

Right, and it’s also easy to see the damage dealt using Excrulon’s mod. Now if only someone can make a damage log mod.

By 145 did you have to grind demon pri or dina bee?

At Lv145, it’s actually best to use your exp tomes and dungeon resets here. You have to stay doing Lv145 dungeon and missions everyday until you reach Lv162.

Upon reaching 162. You can now skip the 160-175 deadzone by using all your saved cards. If you didn’t save cards, then you’ll have to grind on Dina Bee like the others who didn’t save cards.

I thought bees are from 145-165? Then you use all saved cards to 175?

bees are 150-170, its a lv 160 map

But there is no exp penalty for being too low right? Why can’t you start at 145?

yes there is a heavy penalty for being too low.

There should be an exp penalty for being too low. A massive one to boot.

Well I can’t even remember it too lol! good thing you recognized me by my name tho! You still lookin good with hot guides =)) you never cease to amaze me with your unique builds =))

Cool guide , out of the box build , i was planning to go A2>R1>S1>F3 cause i wanted kind of a sure thing since i already have a fencer and now im building a more usefull character lol.

But upon reading this , i might try your build , the other build i wanted to do is A2>R1>S1 RO1>Falc1>Cannoneer any thoughts on this one compared to yours?.

arcC2/SapperC1/ScoutC3/SapperC2 , can this build work ?

Some people already asked me about combining Rogue C1 and Falconer C1 just that they could produce synergy with the other classes taken.

IMO, it’s such a huge waste.

  1. The reason only Rogue can compete with any other classes even against R7 classes is because the synergy it provides to the other classes I took. Your build might have Barrage but your Flare is only a mere Lv5 even if you could say you can do Double Flare, it definitely won’t be as lethal as a Double Lv15 Flare Shot. Lv5 Flare Shot reduces alot of potential from Rogue C1.

  2. You are taking Falconer so that Multi-Shot and Barrage can provide more AOE damage. But Circling has 35s cooldown and you literally took the class, sacrificed a Rank 6 slot just for that 1 skill. Unlike Rogue C1 that provides something more than just 1 skill. Not to mention, Lv10 Multi-Shot is pretty half-baked. Barrage already has high innate AOE attack ratio.

So in conclusion, everything is pretty much half-baked. Half baked AOE damage from Lv10 Multi-Shot, half-baked damage from Double Lv5 Flare. No more Split Arrow. The build also has no potential to compete against the current best DPS classes when doing WB hunts.

You do get to support your party more though with Circling, you would also get Cannon Shot with a pretty good sustained AOE dps while Cannon Burst for massive AOE bursts + it’s good for PVP.

Sapper C2 is a horrible pick for a Rank 7 slot.

You’re better off with Archer > Ranger > Archer C2 > Scout C3 > Cannoneer.

Honestly, the build can work but it does not excel on anything.

Yeah , i agree , i suspected as much but i needed confirmation. Im gonna stick with your build , i like the concept a lot , ty for your reply.

Hi, I’m following everything in your well thought guide, the all str version specifically, got myself a +8 seeker and currently lvl 103.

The only issue so far is the survivability, field monsters can be kited no problem there, but with some dungeon bosses I get 1HKO, whenever i fail to jump or dodge their attack while i’m using skills or whatnot (hard to dodge them all).

May I ask what is your “current” stats setup right now? the old reply was ages ago, a screenshot would be great if i may request.

Also, the build majorly depends on sneak hit to crit, will that work well on fields? since you can’t position yourself at the back everytime.

Here’s my current stats, http://i.imgur.com/uOKBbmd.jpg I do plan to reset once they make it possible to transfer cash items like on kTOS.

I suggest getting headgears or any item that gives CON/HP first so you won’t need to invest at all on CON.

Field mobs are pretty weak so there’s no need to crit alot against them. Against beefy mobs, you’d pretty much use Feint+Barrage which ensures a backhit on the first Barrage. You just need to reposition behind to do another backhit.

Once you have all the gears and gems needed, you can reach about 40~50% crit rate w/o DEX investments so there’s no need to worry about doing crits if the situation is unfavorable for Sneak Hit.

This is the main reason why pure STR is the hardcore path.
