@Nicola Yeah you’re right. and that’s the first problem I have. No gear, no silver.
Actually it’s the first character I’m planing to get on with, just tested some mechanics before (and a lot of theory crafting), never went higher than level 40~50 on them (I know I know, shame on me).
So that’s why I’m sort of looking for a more general allocation and less gear oriented, as I don’t have any gear yet.

I’m no real fan of the Rogue class aswell, but I sort of apreciate that you go Ranger 1 with it, since I’m pretty fed up with hard low-level leveling by now and Ranger atleast gives some sort of low-level AoE skill.
On the other hand I’m a bit lost when it gets to good synergies whith exchanging Ranger/Rogue for something else. Fletcher would be good, but i don’t really like the idea of constantly having to craft and carry arrows around (+ it’s probably expensive).
If you have some recomendations for class changes, feel free to tell me =)

Depend on what your main goal of end game is.
ET: go SR
Farm 130/145 (money maker): Scout 3
World Boss: Fletcher
High single target burst / PVP: Musk
Burst AoE / GVG : Cannoneer

Think of what you want to be when rank 8 comes then you can build your class with that rank 8 in mind.

Well it’s more of a choice between what class i like and which not.
E.g. SR and Hakkapelle looks interesting, but I hate mounts. Musk/Cannoneer are flat out a no for me.
Scout 3 is something I want to keep.
Fletcher I’m concerned about the arrow system… maybe I’m just to over cautious but it seems pretty tedious and costy (actually, is it? considered as a ‘first’ character).
Mergen I like because of the bow-exclusivenes and the skills.
Falconer 3 has this nice Preemptive Strike, but seems to be overall pretty useless (+ Scout 3 & Falc 3 won’t go together by now).

You see, I’m weird and complicated…

As for gameplay preferences:
-PvE
-Solo play (or mostly solo play but don’t mind if I should get a party invite)

-All PvP content (if you can call that PvP content at all) is a complete no-go for me. So, no 1v1, no team battles, no GvG, nothing.

Oh, and I don’t like using a quintillion long cooldown skills as a burst.
I’d rather have one or two 0 or low cooldown skills like Split Arrow or auto-attaks for regular use and one or two bursts for bosses and that’s it.
That’s the reason why the iDreamy build sounded interesting to me, even though it uses Rogue.

I’d suggest against not building your stats considering top gear. If you don’t consider top gear, when you do get it, your build won’t ever perform at its max; but if you do consider it, at least at some point you will be la crème de la crème.

I started my first char with that mentality and now have x2 sissels, max peta, light gorithos, didel kracked shooter, manamana and isbality. Now all I need is to finish farming for grynas and virtov stuff.

You forgot to consider in kTOS they can only stack up to 5 cards of the same type so x8 ellaganos cards may not be a good idea. Also, the Astra bow (the one I believe you mentioned as the 315 bow) has +44 crit rate, not +88 if my source is not wrong. There might be a couple more details but I didn’t check it through well enough. Might edit this later if I find something

Also, if you didn’t understand it, try reading it again until you do =.=

I have traced the origin of the rumour.
Cards aren’t mentioned lately on inven forum.

The rumour originates from rededit. Unpleasant place.
I will dispel it now, just like I did the circling rumour.
The 5 card limit rumour originates from a very big misunderstanding about a picture of a monk (this is gwen’s monk):

This was misunderstood by rededit as max card = 5.
This changed to -> max same cards of 5 -> entered this forum, too.

A Monster Card Equip system has been added.

Monster Cards]

Damage Reflecting Cards:
- Fixed bug when wearing more than 1 reflection type card caused the effect of both cards to not take effect.

Minotaur Card:
- Fixed bug where using Swift Step with the party
attribute toggled ‘On’ would cause the caster of Swift Step to
immediately get stunned. (Yes, really !)

Werewolf Card:
- Fixed bug with Backstab where the ‘behind attack’ type effect trigger from the card wasn’t working with the Karacha set

  1. The drop rate of cards have been lowered.
  2. Some Boss card effects have been changed:
    • Chapparition Card:

      • Magical damage bonus now only last 4 Seconds when consuming an SP Potion. (Previously 10s)
    • Glass Mole Card:

      • Physical damage bonus now only lasts 4 Seconds when consuming an SP Potion. (Previously 10s)
    • Manticen Card:

      • The Speed bonus effect is now +[max★/2]. (Previously +[max★])
    • Nuaele Card:

      • The magical defense is now +[★]%. (Previously a flat value of +[★])

  1. Nuale Card was reducing magic defense when removed from a card slot.
  2. Chapparition Card, It wasn’t possible to craft the [Animus] item when more than one Chapparition card was equipped.
    Fixed a display error with the Manticen Card
    The ability to prevent the Removal Penalty(Loss of Star Lv) in the Boss Card System has been added.
    - [Remove Card without a Penalty], You’ll be able
    to remove the card from the slot without it losing any Levels(★) - (
    Costs 5 TP )
    - Selecting just the [Remove] option will mean that the card will incur the penalty of Level Reduction(★).

14 August 2016:

Quest bosses no longer drop cards and should not be obtained via quest scenarios.

18 August 2016:

In the new maps, If you happen to become incapable of combat on a 4★ map, you now risk losing the following:
- Gems, Boss Monster Cards, Blessed Gem of the Goddesses ( The new saalus gems), Silver.

dumbest thing i’ve ever heard.
KTOS top dier dps archers are still full dex.
And i have a full str archer who is rank 7, the damage is bad.
