Definitely, if you get an Arde dagger drop I would use it if not then continue to save for Tilly at 120 and Khasti at 170.

I couldn’t tell you where they drop unfortunately I just know there available on the market.

I pretty much just equipped gear from quest rewards and recipes from quest rewards.

Going full DEX you have around 70-90 more damage endgame however ruin your gimping yourself greatly when they release new content, new weapons, gear etc.

Crit can be gained from gems and gear with no issue, even with full DEX your only going to crit 75% of them time, you’ll never get 100% crit rate.

If you have figures from a level 280 with full dex as apposed to a 280 with 4:2 STR:DEX I would be glad to take a look.

But you don’t have those figures so all you are basing it on is speculation and nothing more.

This is how I’d go, if you going to go Archer C2 no reason not to max Kneeling Shot.

I don’t need a level 280 character to do elementary math. As new content gets released, strength will be further diminished while the newly released gear (higher damage) will scale proportionally with crit.

ah okay so i can use arde + xbow + cafrisun from 75 on till about 170 before changing for like Viper Bow or Khasti Bow that right? heh

Your understanding of basic math seems to be awry. What does not being able to crit 100% have anything to do with str vs dex.

STR (Deal more damage with white + critical hits)

At 280 with 4:2 you will have around 40-45% Crit Hit, where as with 100% DEX you’ll have around 75% but when you don’t crit you’ll be hitting petty numbers where as 4:2 won’t.

Provide me with some solid figures that shows full DEX is far superior and maybe I will believe it.

Why the hell would you max kneeling shot on a fletcher build is beyond me. The point of taking fletcher is to spam skills and be mobile, not to kneel, auto-attack, become immobile and deals shi.t dps.

If you go Archer>Archer it would purely be for 10/10 Swift Step, there is nothing else to take, I don’t take it in my build personally so it would be purely used for grinding.

The way you said it makes it looks like kneeling shot is such a great skill to have when it’s not. You could’ve put those points in full draw and they’ll be more useful than kneeling shot.

If you’re using kneeling shot to save SP when grinding, then you’re doing it wrong. In this game, grinding is all about aggroing a group of mobs and AoE-ing them down. You have one of the best AoE skill in the whole class of archer tree and you choose to auto attack a single frickin target. Please don’t do it.

I wouldn’t go Archer C2 some choose to purely for the 5% crit attribute It’s not worth it in my opinion but some do like it.
