You gave a judgement on an issue you already understand the reason for. Way to contradict yourself.
i Did stuff similar to those bullepoints, i asked around about drops of recipes and items and grinded those while leveling, i even set up to get higher level stuff when i was 30ā¦ i was always on the look out to do Something else and that i did Even While grinding solo. I helped randoms and corrected mistakes They were doing while grindingā¦ made alot of friends like that on my time i played, and maybe that why i never Felt bored in anyway while grinding, i never sat for more than 4 hours on my pc grinding yet i feel i leveled Quite fast and i didnāt felt bored or like it was a chore, so yes i agree With the op. and the game is too early and it hasnāt even been Fully translated you can expect people to build a wiki about items, monster drops so early on a game where even skills got typos or missing info. my only objection to the current status of the exp is the Bosses is just a waste of timeā¦ the item drops arenāt worth the effot sometimes and their exp is just a Joke.
How so? Most people only mindlessly grinded, barely socializing or not at all. Not surprisingly, the highest level people were usually the quietest ones, some of them not uttering a single word in shout chat ever. If their aim was to make us want to socialize, I guess they managed that with the broken grinding system, but not the way you seem to see it.
You discovered more bugs thx to the slow leveling? Seriously? Why? Being the same level for a lot of time didnāt help me find a single bug. Most of them was from NPCs, areas, skills, etc. Nothing to do with the grinding.
@FreeMan You really like the word fallacy. A bit ironic that you keep falling for fallacies yourself, like slippery slope, black-or-white, ad hominem or tu quoque. Maybe spend less time trying to sound smart and actually discuss the topic. Although knowing you, Iām guessing youāll just post yet another gif and dismiss any criticism because āpse, casuals, amiright?ā
Nah, im joking xD
I understand your point of view, but donāt fit well on the RO spiritual succesor community at least RO older players and some hardcore/semi-hardcore from other games or grinding fans. There would be 2 posibilities:
1- IMC raise EXP rate until max level can be reached in 1-2 months by casuals, that means if IMC donāt put their efforts/money on doing so much content to fill the time play this game is going to die soon.
2- Casual people trying to enjoy the game without rushing to lv 600 or whatever.
LOL. I think you missed the part where all the casual people quit because they have to grind forever to get a level. That would kill the game, and much faster than a lack of end game content.
Theyāre already making things to do when you reach end game anyway. You have PvP, and I believe theyāve made some 5 man dungeons. You can also try and fill up your adventurerās journal. Not to mention you can have a completely different experience leveling up again on a new character.
Everyone is free to do what they want to do. And IMC will do what they think is better for them and for the costumers. For example i quitted FF XIV at the second day from the release because i felt like that game wasn`t for me despite the hype i had.
Thereās no need to reduce everything to 2 points. Noone wants that. Itās not that we either get to max lvl in 2 months or 20 years.
Raising the rates a bit, I repeat, A BIT, would help the case a lot, together with whatever IMC puts together, be it quests, achievements, repeatables, anything.
We donāt have to either kill the grind junkies or expell all the casuals from the community.
NO. IF WE GIVE THE CASUALS AN INCH THEYāLL TAKE A MILE! WE MUST REMOVE THEM FROM OUR COMMUNITY. IF YOU DONāT LIKE THIS GAME, LEAVE!
-The majority of grind lovers
We were told that this exp rate on iCBT was a test. No one knows how it will be on the next CBT, OBT or release. All of us expressed our point of view, wich is ok soā¦ wait for changes.
go fvck yourself, btw if yer a hot chick i might help?
grindfest faboi still cant quote the 1000x rate demand, im disappointed yer just a bunch of all talk morons
Cant tell if troll or serious. That was something called sarcasm. I too, would like the rates to be increasedā¦
You should ignore Setsuko he canāt read well at all. Takes everything literally.
so, is this a troll / sarcasm too ?
when grindfest lovers got slapped on their face, leave them speechless, they start to āi was just sarcasm / trollingā
remember you still CAN NOT quote the damn 1000x rate demands you just made up on another thread, after that you guys was like āoh maybe it was 100x rateā lolā¦you still cant quote that either
stop making weird fantasy
Did you quote the wong one? as iām not sure how my reply about income from ācasualsā and āhardcoreā players is relevant.
Google āHyperboleā
It will explain what the person using the ā1000xā rates meant.
I made a rant to talk about how itās slow and ive experienced it myself with 80 levels worth of grinding and quest, thatās it. I know theyāre doing it on purpose. And also Iām JUST telling the guy that posted this is that the experience rate is a tad slow and not the smoothest thing in the world.
Not contradicting myself at the least.
Guys, the good thing about this is that ToS will have a reason to sell EXP boost. Now we wonāt have to worry about the game dying because of lack of $$ ahaha The lack of XP also makes bosses a bit harder, so itās a interesting method
The bosses where a jokeā¦ I was fighting bosses 10+ levels than me and still did everyone of them first try no deaths. I was a cleric which most probably made it easier but still.
Actually, tell a lie there was one boss that I found difficult because it kept one shotting me and was actaully my level. I believe it was lvl 55 the fisrt boss after you enter the alter thing to save the godess from the 2 bosses.
Paraphrasing:
I know why imc made it slow, but why would they make it so slow (rant)?
Bruh, she was being sarcastic given the source from the end.
