EXP Rates are OK

Again… sigh. Well. The post was made 2 days ago, 2 days out of 7 days. End of context.

Some people seem like they reply without even thinking. So tired.

Is useless, don’t waste your time explaning facts to him. But i also saw people on 90+ sunday evening.

For being a Beta, the exp was fair. The developers don’t want people level rushing to just go sit in town, socialize, and forget the reasons why they are there… To be Beta testers!!! The slow leveling allowed me to discover many bugs that I otherwise may not have noticed had I gone hard core and pushed to be in the top 10.

i think they should increase the overall exp from mobs, and remove the blue mobs.

It doesnt make much sense that you have to spend almost an hour for a lv up at some lvs, and then kill 2 blues in a row ( or sometimes with 1 and half) get a lv up.

not everyone is a no lifer hardcore like you bro :joy:

Exactly, is not a big deal, if they give us good content all around the game and not just in the endgame, then taking time to reach max level its not big deal.

Agreed. But if not…just same lame grindin festival with no good content. Hope for the first case, of course.

contents ? where are they ? you mean questing + grinding ?
-not sold-

I feel the problem with the actual grind is that there isn’t much incentive beside leveling up. Quests give the false impression that you are doing something and have some sense of achievement and progression but in the end people don’t want it because it is just another “dumb” way to level up.

The thing is that in this beta we pretty much had nothing else to do beside grinding to level up to test skills. I haven’t been much into crafting but one of the solution lies just here. It is just clunky right now because we lack information. I am sure that this will get better later on and that I will find something else than grinding for something else than grinding.

I would have loooved to :

  • Take a look at my inventory
  • See that I have 100 egnome core after grinding
  • Alt Tabbed and looked into some ToS Database or even directly from information in the game
  • Try to find a recipe based on egnome core
  • Go grinding the material missing (if possible at my current level)
  • Craft as much as possible even though the item crafted is useless.

I would have made myself :

  • Optional goal while grinding making the game less repetitive(even though not optimal for leveling)
  • Get experience without it my primary goal
  • Get an item crafted even though it is useless, I will sell it to npc or market if some other find any use. If it is a fashion accessory, even better, I am cute now.

Right now it is hard to do this because :

  • You don’t know where to find the recipe.
  • You don’t know which monster drops what materials.
  • You don’t know where to find the monster unless you already beat it.

These problems will likely be solved through external database of the game like tosbase. It is just not available for the moment and I don’t think those information would be implemented in the game since this would defeat the purpose of adventure journal and the way it is completed.

From what I’ve read (korean beta testers), crafting gets better in content later.

Oh… shame, I hope you’re able to find a game that can cater to your needs

i got tons of better things to do, you need not worry

for reals, they probably played on 1000x rates servers and want the game to be just that

lol moron, who asked for 1000x rate ? quote it.

Sure they did, at least 100x from old official rates. And wanted to sell us that fallacy.

@detrimentoeterno

That person said there were people who reached 100+ level some days before I posted the post, and the post was posted 2 days ago. You can use simple logic and common sense to understand what this leads to. If I remember correctly, the highest level one was 6x at the time.

You disagree or agree with the early grind is up to you but at least be a reasonable person to some respectable extend.

Didn’t mean to reply FreeMan, did this accidentally. I don’t have enough respect for that one to do that.

I see you didn’t read again.

I am in favour of increasing the leveling rate.

But the way you put forth your opinion on it and needlessly attack others opinions is just making people who agree with you look bad.

So you should stop insulting them and explain your point of view instead.

Or if you don’t want to change how you express your opinion, you should shut up.

Also go google the word “satire”. It will help explain the guy making a joke about leveling too fast to level 10.

I think we should learn how to “Pray to the RNG Goodness”.

Nah, seriously RNG make things funnier but is unfair. In real life, some win millions at the lottery or born in a rich family and others work 12 hours a day to survive wich is not funnier to them. But this is a game not real life.

Did you not read the bottom section of my comment? I said that they did it on purpose to slow down the close beta testers.

False, using your logic it would take us like 120-140 hours of grinding (Applying rates when RO was released) to reach lv 50 on ToS. Exp Rates required to level up and given by mobs/quests and also the chart scale are different on ToS.

And maybe could take more time to reach max level, but are you hurry? And also we are talking about EXP rate in Closed Beta, so this is worthless.

Please stop confusing the community for god sake.

To be fair,

That’s 21.0850203 hours of playing everyday (5.14583333 days). Very few have that kind of time.
