I already said high dex > str con in pvp so i dont know what you want from me honestly rofl. Unless you’re so delusional you secretly think your sw3 cata 3 is better than cookiecutter cata 3 at every facet of the game including pve, which i doubt you are (at least i hope).

Buddy, if you haven’t been reading any forum beside swordsman forum, maybe you should start.
No one can kill clerics effectively. (even wiz have hard time doing so) And no swordie can stand toe to toe against a pvp oriented wizard unless that wizard is extremely bad and have zero clue what hes doing.
Any class literally get chain CCed and just blow up in 1 spell rotation.
The most ridiculous part is wizard requires no int to function. They have this neat little item called Animus which gives them a sht ton of magic amplification that scales according to their hp recovery.
That means full con Wizard can pretty much deal only slightly less damage than full Int wizard and have 30k Hp. Not to mention the fact that Sub zero shield is still broken in ITos (at least i think it is? not sure if ktos patch was applied).
And clerics are just plain stupid because they have many ways to remove ccs and stone skin makes physical damage dealer cry. That’s why people are saying cleric can tank better in dungeon and the only thing they lack is an aoe taunt.
If you give cleric a aoe taunt you can pretty much delete the entire swordsmen tree and it probably wouldn’t make a difference to the game pve wise.
And that leaves swordsmen and archer. Being able to kill these two classes alone means that full dex is decentish at pvp.
So feel free to rejoice, because your build is not as bad as you think it is…(or as bad as you pretend to think it is).

@showatt0016 Dude, OP clearly stats many times that he knows his build is sub-optimal for PvE, PvP, not as good as cookie cutter builds, etc. Yet you keep making these manner-of-fact-ly posts trying to convince us other builds are better…which all of us and the OP already agrees with you on. Like you’re trying to refute claims no one is making. Every one of your posts just confuses me more and more. Check the opening post: “I’m not propagating Dex is better, I making this thread so Dex Swordman can hang out and share experiences/suggestions”.

high dex sw3 Cata 3 is actually fairly meta in pvp. I also question your claim to have read my post.
Let me link some highlights for you to save you time:
str/con build is meant for pve
cata who opted for Str/con builds are meant for pve in most cases. You’d need 100+ dex to reliably hit ppl in pvp and it gimps your pve build so you might as well not do it.

I’ve been saying going high and full dex is viable in pvp so this whole “Full Dex is useless” disclaimer is wrong, and OP is using it as a misguided effort to keep others from criticizing/questioning his build, because he got tired of high level Cata telling him off after saying things like this in another thread:

i laugh at other pelt/hop/barb/corsair… cant tank cant dps just leech.

as far as my own personal experience playing TOS on my full dex sword3cata3, i do find other swordman lacking whether pelt/squire/rod juz swash+ctrl+c doing nothing, or
dop/corsair/hop/barb cant even deal consistent dps, 1fight with 5mobs then red hp red sp sitting near bonfire.
atleast, i kite and charge earthwave doomspike doubleslash, even i can dodge just fine autoattacking.
Granted this was 10 - 20 days ago, and i honestly don’t know if OP still believes his build to be superior now that he has an Pelt Alt, but I have every reason to believe when i see “I know my build is sub optimal, full dex is useless and not as good at pve and pve as meta catas” in the thread title, or anywhere in OP’s post, he doesn’t actually believe it. (since he’s also said in another thread that, whenever someone tells him his build sucks at pve he’ll say “yep yep” and thinks “screw you”…but i can’t be bothered digging that up. I’m no stalker.)
And on the off chance that he actually does, he would be wrong again, because full dex swordies aren’t useless at all. They are viable in pvp, not the best class to pvp but still decent at killing other swords and archers, whereas your cookiecutter Pelt cata would be complete garbage at doing.

but i still laughing much now i lv206. Dungeon lv200 Catacomb, im still useful and doesnt need as much healing as 1Str 1Dex swordie(or any variance).
My only competition is full dex fencer, damn that fencer really cool ~

Of course you don’t need much healing. You aren’t holding the aggro unlike Pelt Swordie.

For sure bro but let’s do that when you actually get to 280 on your main toon first because your progress is extremely slow. I pretty much stopped playing my cata like 20 days ago and I’m still 1 level higher. And for the past 10 levels I’ve been just doing 200 dungeon and not even mission dungeons.
if i cant kill the fella in Restrain+Trot+Rush combo, i just need to hide and wait Rush to cooldown again.
Swordman’s skill arent particularly good in pvp as well due to small hit box.

Life below 240 is easy.
It starts to get hard only at 220 plus. Alemeth can be done solo, but it requires a ton of money on attributes to make your damage significant. Once you move on to Evac and Storage you will realize that whatever your stat build, even at 60% attribute level on your damage skills, you cannot and will not do enough damage, reducing your role as a taunt for hire.
Now that was the easy PelHop path. Good luck finding a party that wants a Swordsman 3 at 250 up.

Just gonna leave this thread here for people who want to know what its like at 240+ and the reason why everyone is rolling a Pelt toon for pve, and why OP’s build is not the way to go for pve purpose even though he thinks he’s doing well:
Server’s opening up soon and the last thing we need is for new players who want to pve to start on a path that is handicapped from the get go

You honestly should stop doing that whole “I know my build is useless” B.S though because it isn’t.
It’s a decent pvp build (although slightly hipster because full dex) and I honestly see Sw3 cata 3 getting buffed in the future because most of the skills from sw3 are awful.
And your experiences is definitely very valuable to the entire swordsmen community as a whole because not many people go full dex, but it’s detrimental if you don’t realize which area of the game your build excels at, and exactly when your own build is going to fall off. Like i already said,
It’s good of you to make this thread for dex catas to discuss things.
And if you’re having fun that’s great.
I just wish you’d stop saying things you clearly don’t believe just to discourage people from telling you things you don’t want to hear, and understand exactly where your build shines and why other builds might be better in pve down the road.
206 is still pretty low level and just because you can breeze through things doesn’t mean you can do the same 40 levels later, or that you will be more useful than a pelt later on. But it does means pelt cata will be more likely to cry when they meet you in pvp, because thats’ what your build is for.

So STR now adds block penetration. So doe STR/CON builds theoretically counter full CON builds now? 
It is, means more archers on PVP rankings. It also counters block typed swordie, so in exchange for the ability to kill block con wiz/clerics, block typed swordies gains another counter from archers and fellow swordie. Magic/block have been dominating in PVP so this is really a good shift.
Con/Str is now viable build in PVP. I want block penetration myself too, so i guess ill just switch to gladiator band now.
Depends on Block chance formula.
Sad day for full con swordies. I’d be pissed lol.
