Makes total sense. Doesn’t matter how agile you are, a skilled warrior with a decent shield will block your attacks if you don’t have enough muscle. So how do you get around the shield? You don’t, you pump some iron and then you go straight at it with brute force and knock it out or knock him down.

as of current game, Chronomancer’s “quicken” does no affect skill animation speed. only auto attack.

To be honest, I would like ASPD implementation too. But not for the ASPD, it’s for faster casting animation
@showatt0016 Dude, OP clearly stats many times that he knows his build is sub-optimal for PvE, PvP, not as good as cookie cutter builds, etc. Yet you keep making these manner-of-fact-ly posts trying to convince us other builds are better…which all of us and the OP already agrees with you on. Like you’re trying to refute claims no one is making. Every one of your posts just confuses me more and more. Check the opening post: “I’m not propagating Dex is better, I making this thread so Dex Swordman can hang out and share experiences/suggestions”.

Actually no i just have extreme low tolerance to BS.
Can’t stand fake niceties and people saying things they don’t mean.
People should play whatever they feel like, Dex or not.
Newbies can go full Spr for all I care. IF they decided that’s how they want to play after all the discussions floating around the forum, feel free.
Congrat on your victory against a lvl 274 swordsman. Think it might have something to do with having almost 15 more movespeed than your opponent and a cookie cutter PVP meta catagoon, and less to do with your stat though.
The way the game is designed, your STR meathead cookiecutter pelt goon/hoplite/whatever are always gonna suffer in pvp.
Meanwhile, your dex pvp sw3 cata 3 is going to have a hard time when you’re 220+.
No build is flat out BETTER than another build because they excel at different things.
Also, since we’re talking about dex, it’s pretty stupid that str grow at 3 times the rate of other stats. IF you invest into a particular stat heavily, the growth rate should be the same.
If aspd does exist. They could fix double weapon assault knowing how bad that skill is.

ASPD will make ranger3 fletcher3 invincible on World bosses, forget it. We want to be able to fight high tier WB in a near future, and we already have DoV which increases our ASPD to almost cap?
And about Full STR or DEX won’t survive against a Psycho, Cryo or anyone able to CC you forever and then 1 or 2 shot you. Even with Block penetration on STR, you need 50k HP to actually stand a chance. Which actually can be obtained without going full CON.

First time entry in fedimian mission, @lv 100 partnered with 1 lvl 124 hoplite and the rest lvl 105…
gave up because all DPS members suddenly had a dc problem.
2nd time entry : (lvl 105) partnered with 2 lv 127 DPS (1 archer and 1 pyro) had to tank lvl 127 golem, poata and tree because the other tank lvl 104 peltasta with 12k something HP (mine is 9.9 I think) gets 2 slaps by poata and gave up (hides in the corner),
I won this battle with casualties lol
3rd time entry (lvl 105 again) partnered with 2 clerics (106 & 110) and 1 mage (111) tanked lvl 124 golem, poata and tree boss because a lvl 124 douche decided to quit the party once we are inside…
won this battle and was the best battle/dungeon run I experienced in ToS

Experience under 280 definitely 100% count so whoever said that is retarded. However just be aware that later on down the road you will NOT be able to tank as you did without con due to an sudden spike of magic mobs, which you cannot evade and have to tank through raw HP.
So many new players started off feeling happy and pleased with their build and ended up quitting once they hit that wall. One search around the forum and you’ll see many lvl 230 something sw3/highlander3/whatever wishing how they’d taken Pelt and had to be consoled back to playing.

Well played. There are noobs at every stage of the game and unfortunately having a meta build doesn’t really solve that problem. I’ve seen swordies walked into the lighting circles casted by Harpeia and dies to lighting bolt. Some people are that stupid.
