Dev Roadmap: PvE

how is something better because it has more gem sockets? It’s a trade off, similar to how you trade off mdef for pdef if you switch between cloth and plate armor.

I believe the current system is balanced, you get less slots but a high attack boost for the set while you get more sockets for monster-/stat gems but no attack boost for the non-Solmiki gear.

Also, judging from the gear, it’s only fair that players who actually farm based on an RNG and a daily entry limit similar to current Solmiki (as you will only be able to enter that special challenge mode dungeon once a day which in turn may grant you with entry vouchers for another dungeon upon completion) to have gear similar to Solmiki set.
They have a challenge, recieve random rewards & have to craft the gear from a recipe with other items required, while you only need to continuously clear ET to have your gear ready some day(which still has better defence stats than the level 350 unique gear + the set bonus) + the advantage that Solmiki is already ingame (so you’re already able to farm your legendary grade Solmiki set way prior to the update).

What makes me a little sceptical is the fact that only 30 levels are added on top of the cap, which feels as if we get half a cap in advance first (as they probably realized that Rank 9 is impossible this year) and an extended half cap later next year with Rank 9 Classes and less content (judging from now, it might as well be level 400 instead of the previously expected 380/390).

Yes that’s what I meant with having not much of a choice with accessories really, not to mention that hethran badge accessories pretty much give the same stats as existing ones (with some slight variation, usually making them worse). Even with the new ones that came from field bosses and world bosses (with only the spr set really standing out from previously existing accessories, as the others are just stronger versions of existing ones), the fragments are quite grindy to get through farming and it won’t be for awhile until the market starts getting flooded with them due to more organized groups competing over them.

Maybe hethran badges can be changed to provide more accessible and more varied accessories? or replaced entirely but I’m still hoping to see improvements on accessory choices in general.

and there will be rank 9 yes? .-.

so it is basically unidentified gear+ enchant scroll where you can get 1-3 line of random stats for your gear, right?

Readjusting Stats

Item stats, similar to Boss Monster Cards, will be categorized by type. These types will be largely divided into attack, defense, basic stat increases, and others. When you first identify an item, you’ll get a set of stats that you can use as they are, or readjust them into a configuration you like better.

When you readjust these stats, the number and type of the stats will be fixed. What you can do is change individual stats to a different one of the same type, or increase the value of your preferred stats in the item. To do this you’re going to need a specific type of material item, which you can get by dismantling equipment items (you’ll be able to dismantle equipment items – except unidentified ones – for material items).

Similar I guess? they really need to make a separate post about this. The system is not confusing it just how the stat will be applied is what I wan’t to know.

So, is there any thing change in accessories?

while we are at it (new equips and etc).

would you guys take a look at hethran equipments? like buff them or change how to obtain/craft it through another ways? idk, you know it better than me.

afaik, not many ppl going all the trouble to make it atm. @STAFF_Amy

I do agree it seems a bit odd. But srsly tho, for rank 9 360 is sufficient, if you think about maxing your rank 8 skills levels it happens somewhere around 310 if I don’t remember wrong. Considering thats where you get rank 9, 50 levels should be enough to reach lv15 of rank 9.

I’ll be honest, these news are a temptation for me to back to game when they updated it.

yea but there will be rank 9 or not… cuz i indersytand it like only pve content without rank 9 ._.

It could be either, if they truly plan on releasing rank 9 by this year I’d assume this would include it.
But obviously I don’t know any better than anyone else so better wait for a statement from staff.

Perhaps if we’re lucky next week we’ll have the first rank 9 class preview.

This is getting exciting!!! :laughing::laughing::laughing:

yea, its nice changes but imo pointless without rank 9…

Yeah i can’t wait anymore !!!:cry::cry::cry:

They are gonna throw a rank9 preview right away, I can pretty much ensure you. Adding u pto lvl 360 looks like the level you would reach class 15 at rank 9 taking into account you reach class 15 around level 315.

Making a big ass reveal though would be too much information.

What about this stupid buff system?
Fix it

i just hope so @@ if not i will cry :V

Wat is a stupid buff system? a system wher eyou ccannot get 30+ buffs at 0 cost? i think it’s fine just as AoE attack ratio, and u got daino scrolls anyway

Good idea!
But I still think it should have an even lower limit, type +16, since at +15 the weapon already shines.
And it should also have a way to increase the chance of success in improving the equipment, but not 80%, but it should have a 100% chance of success, in the same way as transcendence.

one way to fix this is to limit the received buffs (esp Blessing) to lower levels char. For ex: R1 can’t receive buffs R2 can receive buff but only up to lv5 R3 = lv10 and so on… not sure how hard it is to code tho. Edit: If you’re talking about buff seller that is.
