I think those limitations should stay, to make mixing equipment more attactive and to give Solmiki sets a downside,too. If the legendary items are the best overall items, it’s sad because then the game is again a linear gear progression [i.e. farm set A->farm set B> farm Solmiki set].

Given the new proposed changes, I believe that just having 1 slot on boots and gloves won’t make them so much inferior in comparison because of the high attack bonus of the complete set.

Random Equipment Stats
"We’re changing the stats of unidentified equipment items from a fixed set of features to a random set of stats that varies by individual item."

“To the character’s secondary stats, we’re adding a new number called Looting Chance, which increases your probability of obtaining random stat unidentified items from monsters. Your Looting Chance is not influenced by your basic stats (STR, INT, etc.); instead, it increases with equipment stats, in-game gimmicks, items and possibly events.

i recall some dudes discussing the similarity of this game to diablo
now, with this, game is becoming more like diablo 2, remember those charms eating those inventory slots just to add magic find ?

This is another main addition we have in store for PvE. When hunting on a field after the update, you may come across a special type of monster. Defeating this monster will open a portal into the Challenge Mode, an area containing better items than the ones you might find elsewhere.

and this is a torchlight 2stuff, not sure where it originated but i only seen it in torchlight 2

Now, for something a little more substantial. We’re changing the stats of unidentified equipment items from a fixed set of features to a random set of stats that varies by individual item. These unidentified items will be available from monsters not only in Hunting Grounds, but also in regular fields.
So you’ll be able to find Magic, Rare and Unique grade equipment items in Hunting Grounds and regular fields, and to reveal their stats you will need to identify the items at an Appraiser.
The drop rate of these items will be higher than that of the current Unidentified Cubes obtained from Hunting Grounds, further increasing their supply and variety, while also promoting the farming of these items.

Might as well wipe out all the white Normal equipment since crafting those is going to be more of hassle now that the HGgears which are better and going to be dropping easier.

Nice contents! Waiting the previous combat system changes hit iTOS (New TBL and GvG system) ;(

No wonder I’ve seen a lot of gears with Aspersion Blessing and Sacrament gems being sold on the market recently… wonder how they got the news so quickly b4 this post. Not sure how the new Readjusting stat will shape the SPR = better Blessing industry.

Equipment affecting looting chance has Great potential for milking Gachas :grin:

@STAFF_Amy will there be a future revamp of enhancing equipment system?. cause it just too painful when you work hard in your equipment and just went to 0pot and +3. lol

@STAFF_Amy This is something that we would like to know from the devs too. With the new itemisation changes, it already adds a layer of RNG to getting equipments with good stats. Having enhancements also RNG based makes it an even harder pill to swallow when enhancement luck doesn’t really fare well.

Perhaps consider a change to enhancements too along with the new itemisation? A cap of max +20 will be good and each enhancement give a 80+% chance to upgrade but require more silver and materials to make.

Holy ■■■■ finally some legitimate new content that won’t be made pointless immediately.

IMC please take this opportunity to rework Corsair. Since you’re changing everything about how getting loot works, and the class is already way outdated (remember treasure chests? lmao) this seems like the perfect time to overhaul their mechanics to make sense as a farming class again with the new loot score. Otherwise I feel like it’ll just be better to go with a better DPS class with looting gear that can more easily take on challenge monsters and just farm things faster.

Those New Recipe seems good and I bet the materials for those will be crazy as hell again to obtain. I hope not.

Just a thought, I think it would be nice if there are accessories with randomized stats also. It might be “OP” if we just add them with the pool of accessories we have now but that’s only because we don’t really have a lot to choose from in the first place

nice changes, but what with transce items? can we at last trade it per team storage PLX?

i can and can’t agree with u ;p i mean solmiki items should be best, but yes there should be a option to get similiar items or same items as solmiki but still there should be no better things than solmiki :slight_smile:

imo there should be an option to upgreade our set (solmiki too) ;x (stats/sockets etc)

They should buff the accessories you can get from Hethran Badges. There’s literally no reason to get those accessories, you have to get hundreds of badges and do hundreds of quests to farm the tier 2 accessories which aren’t even worth it because in the time it takes to farm them you could’ve just farmed Phadas and a Terrallion or bought Sissels/Max Peta which have all around better stats. At the very least they should have a set bonus so that farming the full set of 2 bracelets and a necklace gives you some powerful benefit even though it takes forever.

Nahh, solmiki is not the best. Soon as we hit another cap, there would be another floor higher than solmiki and of course, new legend sets. That’s how RPG works in a cycle.
