So is Bazooka bad right now then? I wanted to make a cannoneer for that skill, since I love my corsair, but itās seeming like a no-go now.
Running Shot atk speed affect Bazooka, it also makes the auto attacks during Bazooka multihit, and i think it also affects the dmg ontop of the multihits, but im not 100% sure on that.
In any case, Running Shot more or less double the auto attack dmg during Bazooka
But youāll only get like, 2 of them off before enemies reach you, right?
nah, you will use skills on bazooka instead of focusing on AAā¦it boost cannon skill damage by 50%,you barely have anytime to AA before the monster died unless you are undergeared.
You can use AA as your opening, then after they come close to you finish them w/ your cannon skills or use AA as a filler instead of spamming Cannon Shot and Shootdown since cannon skills have high SP costs. Donāt purely rely on AA while on Bazooka.
You can use Cannoneer skills in Kneeling stance aswell, i just dont think the 3sec~ selfstun when entering bazooka stance is worth it.
Its a big chance a boss will either
-knock you away
-move somewhere else because a party member runs away from you with the boss
-Already be dead
Hello guys, Iām completely new to ToS and I want to make a cannoneer with quarrel shooter (not sure yet about the other classes). I have lots of questions, but for now only one affects me: How do I invest my stats?
Iāve read through the thread and thereās so many different stat builds being suggested. Full strength, full dex, a combination of the two with some points in con and spr, and everything in between that.
I just want a good all-around safe stat distribution to go with that is suited for cannoneer with QS. So for each level, how should I distribute my stats?
I did that build during the reset event. QS3 is only ārelevantā in that build if you AA while in [bazooka]. Is that how you plan to play? My recommended stats will vary depending on your answer.

Would you guys say itās ok to go Cannoneer as a finishing touch to Wugushi c3? I have to choose between Cannoneer, Hackapel or Musketeer as I want to be able to wield either a high raw damage weapon to scale up poison dots, or dual weapons to make use of two red gems (Hackapell).
Of the three, Iād say Cannoneer seems the most fun, but hearing about the SP costs is a bit worrying. Do cannons have a high enough base damage to be a viable option over muskets or dual wield for the sake of scaling Wugushi poisons?
cannoneer is a bad idea then, those poisons would be using you main weapon physical attack, cannons goes to secondary weapon attack. Go with Musketeer since they use 2 hand weapon, meaning more damage on main hand weapon.
I could be wrong since I don;t play wugushi hehe, but most of the time, main weapon damage is used
Oh I see. I didnāt realize cannon was a secondary weapon. I was under the impression itād be a 2-handed weapon just like musket.
Sadly I wanted to avoid musketeer. Theyāre cool, but mostly single-target damage oriented. I was hoping to have cannoneer to synergise with Wugushiās mobbing power.
Yeah itās good to be a Cannoneer2 after Wugushi3 since Bazooka will boost the DoT of your poison. But itās gonna be costly since your poison will scale in your X-bow while your cannon skills will scale in your cannon. And also Cannon skills have high SP Costs coupled with low CD so itās gonna be SP Hungry. If youāre ready for this issues then go Cannoneer2
Thatās a cool interaction. I do like the idea of bunkering with bazooka to boost my dot damage. I can sit by a pavice and be relatively safe from attacks.
Another question for cannoneers. What are the AOE properties of Shootdown, Cannon barrage and Cannon blast? Are either of these skills able to hit a group of enemies quickly over time? Asking because I want to know if they might be good for spreading Wugong gu and Jincan gu.
All cannon skills hit once except cannon barrage.
Cannon barrage is 3 hits, 2 overheat. This will spread wugong well. Though most normal enemies cannot survive cannon barrage x2.
So itās about time for me to rank up. I did a little reading into this further and it seems like thereās some sentiment towards cannoneer being a Dex class? Is this still the case? My build is full STR because thatās what scales Wugushi poisons. Apparently, Cannon wants to crit though. If this is the case, Iāll probably be much better off with Musketeer after all.
However, apparently Musketeers who donāt have falcon are useless in ET. I donāt have room in my build for falcon, so maybe I should go cannon after all and just focus on regular aoe synergy.
Both classes seem cool. This is such a hard decision, lol.
I was in the same situation. After the reset event, I finally gave up Musketeer for Cannoneer.
Iām now A2-QS3-Appraiser-Cannoneer1 (soon 2, canāt wait for Bazooka) and I like it since I have AoE and lots of support options (QS Pavise / Caltrops, Appraiser buffs/debuffs, ā¦) and the problem I had with my R6 (since I didnāt want Falconer nor Scout) is now solved with Appraiser which goes well with Cannoneer.
Going well in Siaulai with a Didel GC and Cafrisun set ā¦ when bosses donāt bump me out ! Mana may be a thing to consider as Cannoneer skills can dry your SP bar quickly but I donāt have Cannoneer 2 skills yet so Iām not concerned.
Stats wise I put 80 points into DEX, 20 CON, rest STR this far at lvl 255 and Cannon Barrage crits very often so I donāt think you need DEX high for Cannoneer (but I will go for 100 for QS Running Shot).
=> after weeks working for Musketeer, I joined the Cannoneer way of life and I enjoy it !
Can anyone tell me if theres a list of breakable circles by Siege Burst?
Can it destroy pavises or just magic circles?
