Just like any other modifier? You might be confusing the Pierce attack property (rapier, spears etc) with Pierce, the hoplite skill, which is what that modifier is for.

If you know it’s the hoplite skill, then I dont really understand the question since it’s no different from anything else.

You might also be asking about how those modifiers correlate to the "consecutive attack"thing in the skill’s tooltip. Well, the tooltip is sort of misleading.

If you hit a medium target, it’ll do attack + skill damage - defense * 2, and then split that value into two inequal pieces that total up to the right amount acting as if you do “2 consecutive attacks” when you really only hit once. We refer to those kind of hits as fake multihits.

Edit: nvm, I got it.

So I finally got around to making a hop3 and after quite a bit of tests with varying weapon types and monster armor type. I’ve found out that:

Hoplite’s

is on the same tier as enhance attributes. 20% more damage for skills that don’t have any attribute. 10% more damage(relatively) for skills with 100 on attribute.

IMC has(maybe) nerfed High Guard attributes for umbo blow and rim blow.

High Guard now is +150% [+ 20% * Attribute Level] for Umbo Blow and Rim Blow during High Guard

Another change I’ve noted, High Guard and Slithering now belongs to the same tier. Don’t know if High Guard now is a Target Modifier of if Slithering jumped to Commom Modifier.

As soon as I hit rodelero 3, I will test high kick.

PS: I don’t know but seems IMC did that because of murmillo cassis crista and headbutt letting umbo/rim blow pretty over power.

Might’ve always belonged to the same tier. I never did get to test High Guard myself so it being on the list was through other people alone, back when this thread just started.

Updated High Guard tho, was always +150%, just noted it down wrong it seems

Strange because in tool tip say is 250% and + 20% from lv 2.

250% = +150%.

For the sake of the thread, all values ingame are converted to “additive to 100%”. Otherwise the thread and formula would be a mess since IMC can’t decide how to write it down either (both exist on tooltips)


Added Synchro Thrusting’s Counterattack mod. Used to be broken, but it works again now. Moved its Piercing attribute to target as well. No longer goes before defense just like Sky Liner.

Seems only umbo/rim blow has the “additive to 100%” already incluse in skill tool tip, Comparing with Epee Garde it says 140%(venier) so 100% + 140%.

Anyway, people seems not interested in post things about murmillo.

Not just umbo/rim’s High Guard attribute. Any skills with % as their base damage (Meteor, Snipe, Stone Shot etc) are a total value.
Meteor says 400% skill damage, which in this thread means +300% from your base 100%.

Also, I’m more than interested. If you got any modifiers for Murmillo, throw em at me.

Alright, phew. That only took two hours.

Extensively tested Synchro Thrusting. It adds its own skill attack a SECOND time, both for the spear and shield part, before the monster’s defense is reduced. If you have the Pierce attribute active, it adds this Base Modifier AFTER the Pierce Attribute is applied, which is itself a Base Modifier (reconfirmed) as well.

So for level 2 Synchro Thrusting with level 5 Pierce attribute and 1000 attack and a 50 Defense shield, hitting a 500 defense monster :

((1000 + 220) * 1.5) + 220 - 500 = 1550 for the Spear part
(((50 * 5) + 220) * 0.5) + 220 - 500 = -45 -> 1 for the Shield part

Yes, it’s weird. But it’s absolutely correct. Leveling synchro essentially gives you double the skill attack it claims it gives.


Also added Shield Lob, it’s a -20% target mod now that it deals 2 hits (both hits do 80% of the skill’s damage, and it’s a true multihit, so you still technically gain 60% over the original Shield Lob, so don’t worry, it’s a buff nonetheless)

So the 1.5 is the pierce attribute right? Why is it 1.5 on both? I thought it only increases the spear part. . Also since we talking about hoplite, do you know what modifier is geras spear when it comes to spear throw?

Woops, that shield part should be 0.5 there, fixing that.

Any weapon-based modifiers are a mystery at the moment. I have done no tests nor has anyone else done them that I’m aware of.

Hi eternal great write up, from https://tos.neet.tv/skills/20903 it says:

Value = 524 + ([Skill Level] - 1) × 143.3

What does those numbers mean? 524 ( base damage from lvl 1 Flesh Cannon) and the others are like skill lvl (1-15_ -1 ) x 143.3 . Where did 143.3 came from?

and from the damballa test above with 50% attribute, is it always to be multiplied by 100% + % skill attribute? thought if he got 50% attribute, it would only be multiplied by50%

This is just the skill attack it gains per level

Skill Level 1 : 524 + 0*143.3 = 524
Skill Level 2 : 524 + 143.3 = 667.3
etc.

This is nothing special, since this goes for literally every offensive skill in the game lol.

Damballa’s +100% skill modifier and the +0~100% enhance attribute go in different places in the formula. Just plug the numbers in the right place : (Attack + Damballa Skill Attack - Defense) * 2 * [1.0~2.0].

ohh ok so with 0 attributes its always 1.0, then with 100 attributes it goes to 2.0

On 16:24 he was hitting boss with:
Slithering + high kick + headbutt + Target smash 3x:

Boss def is 1019 with a -50%(ghost) damage so:
1105 + 1350(target smash 15) - 1019 = 1436 min
2052 + 1350(target smash 15) - 1019 = 2383 max

1436-2383 PA
24657 / 1,8(enhancement) = 13698,3333333

13698,3333333 / 4,5(headbutt + slit + hik + cassis - ghost armor = TM) = 3044,074074074074

3044,074074074074 / 1,5 (headbutt = CM) = 2029,382716

So 2029 seems accurated for head butt being a Common modifier. Because if we say headbutt belongs to TM we would have 2739. As you can see 2739 is a high value for 1436-2383 damage(after boss defence).

PS: I know he was using guardian 10(-10% PA) and sacrament(probably + 40 holy).

Heard some news that on ktos they nerfed crit damage modifier.
only +20% now, can someone confirm it?
