So, you are sitting at IMCs office right now designing the class? Cool. Cause u make it sound as if u knew what the devs had in mind when creating that class. Using other skills with your main body and your soul is a big thing. Learn to utilize it to be effective. You will not become the hugest AA damage dealer with sadhu the way it is right now and I hope you never will. OoBs AA could need a buff, I agree. But in the end it’s still a high speed, invincible AUTO ATTACK and making it incredibly strong would be bad game design. I hit for 3x350 dmg right now btw. Without arde dagger… Without upgraded gear. I deal over 1k damage with auto-attack and that auto-attack even has a small splash area. And it doesn’t end there! OoB has an attribute du decrease enemies defense by 30%. Physical defense only, so it doesn’t help sadhu, but it’s great in dungeons.

I suggest you check all of sadhus skills and attributes once more and then ask yourself what kind of class sadhu seems to be. Be warned though, “Pure damage dealer” is probably the wrong answer…at least that’s the conclusion I got now after playing it to C2 - and I am fine with that.

the only thing keeping me with my sadhu is bcuz at this state, you can only know we r gettign a buff. someone pmed a dev and the dev responded in a hint for a buff.

he said he told the dev that sadhu needs a buff so it hink that means we might b getitng one, probabably after they fix the bugs and stuff

Isn’t it just a general answer that balancing will always be something that’s under development? Sadhu getting a buff is wishful thinking. Nothing hinted at it. If we are lucky we get a buff for sadhu, I wouldn’t mind, but it definetly isn’t a given that we will absolutely get a buff.

yeah but he said it was after he suggeste a sadu buff. its like asking your parent “can i et a phone?” and their like, “we r definately looking into phones that have a good price”, it is a hint. but in this state, we cant compare to other dps classes, the dps is too bad. so we have to be getitng a buff, i dont think imc will let this slide

Okay, can you tell me a little bout your sadhu? What is your built, your equipment, your stats. Are you playing solo or in a group?

Personally I think IMC gave a wrong impression with sadhu when OoB was stronger and hidden buffs existed. People saw that, tried it and loved it. But it makes more sense to look at OoB as a utility skill and not a pure damage skill.

Pure INT.
I am mostly playing with a Cryomancer. She is the main damage dealer, my role is to support and deal damage whenever possible. Sadhu in OoB is incredibly fast and can move to his body in an instant. I can heal at multiple places while using ABE whenever things get difficult. I can also fade or safety zone to provide some time for casting spells such as snow rolling or snow pillar. Dungeons are a lot of fun too and I rarely die. When my heal is on cool down I can still help with mobs by utilizing my sadhu skills. Right now I am starting to experiment with Vashita Siddhi.

Oh, somethin else u can do with Sadhu: Cast OoB, sit down with your body and place a bonfire. You can AA with OoB while recovering :slight_smile:

You are making Sadhu look more appealing in my eyes, even with all the nerfs and everything. I also play in a party, but with a Elementalist, and right now I am at Cleric 2 > Bokor 2, thinking about taking Sadhu C1 for all the things you showed us about the class. Thanks man, you made me change my mind again to Sadhu

Glad I could help you out. I might be able to record a gameplay video of sadhu sometime when I hit sadhu 2 (later today). I plan to show some regular farming and a dungeon run. Maybe even single player footage. However, Dark Souls 3 was released today…so, yeah… That might be in the way :slight_smile:

Anyway, sadhu is great. Sadhu is not weak. Sadhu is weaker then most classes but makes up for it with utility and fast gameplay. I don’t like playing healer or support classes, but sadhu lets me play pretty different and I just love that.

take sadhu, we r getting a buff in a while. but 4 now u have to farm foir arde dagger for sadhu to be viable, thats what im doign now but the 2-3 dungeon runs are hurting me

Stop spreading lies! There is no evidence we will get a buff with sadhu. Yes, a buff would be nice, but there is no guarantee!

I you want to be a pure damage dealer then you should definetly not go sadhu. Sadhu in its current state is not a high damage dealer!

As you said, Sadhu right now is all about complementing other classes. It’s a different kind of support/small DPS for now, but still useful nonetheless, apparently.

I never intended to go support. I also thought sadhu would be a damage dealer… Just like u. But when I reached the class I noticed that sadhu is not a high damage dealer. I got used to it and adapted to it. You still think sadhu will get back to its older version and nuke everything In sight. Who knows, maybe that will happen…but it doesn’t look like it.

Anyway, I never wanted to be a supporter, but now that I reached sadhu and learned how to effectively use OoB I love to support while also dealing damage and using debuts on enemies. Sadhu can do a lot
