The patch notes said 30% of damage dealt so I’m hoping that this is just a silly mistake.

Not damage, just skill’s attack. Which is worse, it does not scale with ANY damage increase that you do, like that one from Quick Cast. Even attributes have no influence on HP restoration. This sucks.
Lol disappointing. I wonder if the c2 skill will also disappoint. I think that blood bath having 30% heal based on its damage is quite op though.
Oh well… it’s a better heal than last time so I don’t mind I guess. There goes the off-healing dream.
On a side note, Joint Penalty is randomly doubling damage numbers lol it’s pretty hilarious. In fact JP + MM now is very strong without HK. Not sure if intended or bug.

Just checked and it seems that JP + MM is doing damage as if HK were used lol.
You can see from the screenshot that HK is still off cooldown and that is just one cast of MM.

Things are also dying wayyy faster than can be justified by the increase in Blood Bath’s damage. There’s something wonky going on with links.
Edit: Bloodsucking with links also seems to be doing double damage. It seems like we’ve gotten back the very first version of JP from way back in CBT.
Edit2: HK’s stun is back at 15s for my level 15 HK lol… so somehow we’re getting the initial unnerfed version of JP and HK back. And needless to say JP + HK + MM destroys things even more than it did before.
Just tested a little before the 2nd maintenance.
So, let’s make some calculations.
Lv3 BB gives me +182 hp on each tick (should be 173 or 176 per tick, can’t check now, it’s adjusted for my CON). I also got a blessing for +1 lv to all skills, hp regen changed to 213 per tick.
213 - 182 = 31, which is roughly 30% of the promised ‘increase per level from 83.28 to 99.94.’. So the last, Lv5 BB, will give me 213 + 31 = 244 hp/tick.
244 * 16 = 3904 hp total
This is with 30 CON.
Other players have more CON so they’ll have more hp restored, but I don’t think this number will be much higher, even if it’s doubled, the full amount of hp restored will be 4-8k.
Well, still better than before, but not as good as we all hoped for.
Well in the (distant) future level 15 Blood Bath will have an attack power of 1787 which means a 536 HP heal. That’s… something I guess?
Still incredibly disappointing though. When will IMC learn to stop with all the non-scalling bullsh-it? Even a 10% heal based on the damage output would be so much better.
I tested the Curse from Bone Pointing, it does not reduce damage from cursed monsters. Have 3 points (max) invested in Kurdaitcha: Enhance attribute. The attribute description has not changed.
Didn’t test Kurdaitcha because I don’t have it.
That could’ve been left out by the patch. Hopefully its properly implemented after the hotfix.

I intend to make a FF, since I am a bit bored of memelock. I definitely want high dps FF so I was thinking of Wiz 3 Pyro 2 Linker 1 FF. Linker 1 feels a bit weak but Pyro 2 is really strong, especially with linker.
Friends have told me to consider Wiz 3 Linker 2 Necro FF. Decay stacking is nice for trash and Fresh Hoop + Loop are pretty nice on boss. Linker 2 is sweet too. But honestly I’m not about that Corpse Pot life man…
My question is would Pyro 2 Linker FF a decent choice for solo/group/boss?
Gotta warn you from the get go that there is no such thing. If you want something comparable to ele3-lock go SR2.
Linker C1 is not good enough to last til endgame IMO. Wiz3 Linker2 Necro FF seems best for you. And even then I daresay that Wiz3 Linker2 Necro3 with the incoming Rank 8 will do so much better.
Edit: The JP issues are still around even after the hotfix. Happy grinding for at least a week until they get it fixed I guess.
Wiz 3 > Link 2 > Necro > FF should be the build that you are looking for. In the dps department though, FF will be a bit lacking but offers a lot of sustain. Our pseudo healing mode dream has just been crushed by the recent update lol.
Anyway, by the looks of it, Flesh Cannon seems to be the best dps skill by rank 8 [Necro 3 - Just an assumption]. If you really want to go the FF route, the build Wiz 3 > Link 2 > Necro > FF will offer the best fillers while your featherfoot skills are down (Flesh Cannon - Flesh Hoop). 500s per cast won’t be an issue at end game. Gaining silvers by then is easy.
Nope, just tested, still no damage reduction by Bone Pointing’s curse.
So to summarize this patch: slightly better Blood Bath, the end.
Let me test out kurdaitcha. There might be something wrong with the patch note given. I think that what it really does it enables the double damage effect across all party members. Before - I’d assume that that effect is only applicable to the featherfoot who applied the curse debuff.
Yep. Also, somewhat distorted JP and nerfed damage from Ignition (time to switch to Superior Corona Rod, I suppose).
I don’t see Ignition changed in any way so what do you mean? The burn damage still transmits across links the way it did pre-patch.
I got an impression the transmitted damage is less now than it used to be. Like, the mob is burning for 200 dmg each tick, the linked mobs get >1k dmg each tick. Now it seems to be less on the linked mobs. Well, need more testing I guess.
Hmm I think you’re right. The linked burn damage is still there but lower.
