As if the recet circle gonna save this game it’s not hard to stop play and take the time to search for a correct build stop go full yolo and maybe you will see that you don’t need reset!

nothing is going to save this game except optimization
let’s play a game where you have to deal with 5fps every time you have more than 20 players in your screen so fun =)

and yeah no answer from imc about this point meaning a lot for me "let’s grab european money and go out like a boss"another korean mmo with a good potential ■■■■■■ by a low optimization

Then video games are not for you. That’s the whole point of them. If there was no consequence or challenge games would not exist, ESPECIALLY RPGs. RPGs have always, since creation, been a type of game where if you do the wrong thing you’re screwed and have to start over. Keep dying because you didn’t put a white mage in your party? Too bad, start over. Can’t beat the boss because you didn’t grind enough and there’s no way out of the area? Too bad, start over. Missed the only chance to get the secret item you need to make the ultimate weapons? Too bad, start over. Make the wrong choice in the quest and get the hero killed? Too bad, start over. Sure, it was a little frustrating at times, but when you finally won you actually felt good about it, because there was no ‘erase all my bad choices’ button or ‘EZ Mode’, you actually had to put forth effort, and each time you screwed up and had to start over you got better and found new things you didn’t realize were there the first time. Now kids want everything RIGHT NOW and if it takes even a small amount of effort you’d rather just quit and not do it at all.

Have all your questions answered

Those ‘kids’ is part of this game’s playerbase whether you like it or not. I’m not saying cater everything to that type of person, hence why a class reset should cost actual money. Which would benefit everyone, the downside to this would be what exactly?

Pros of having a class reset;
Potential income for the game
Keeping players who’d leave without (thus keeping a bigger playerbase and again, income for the game)

Cons;
Some people would dislike it because games are supposed to be ‘hard’…?

It’s needed and I would actually pay for it in future to create something new after I do my min-maxing studies. We still don’t know much about this game and big part of this community will ruin their builds eventually. It’s a good way to make money and they don’t have many options for this since cash shop is limited atm.

IMO about circle reset

  1. Should sell in TP shop only
  2. For restriction circle reset should have cooldown 1 month after use

ayyyyyyy git gud m8s

There are 2 problems.

One of them is that most ppl don’t care about their class that much and they just want the cookiecutter builds… and yeah that’s a bit sad I agree…

But the other one is that we rly don’t know what to expect from later classes and ranks so we actually can’t build our builds in the way as we would when we will know those ranks. From this point of view actually it isn’t even worth it to start the game now… we should wait like 1-2 years. That’s why I’m not against circle resets.

Hell they didn’t even told us what will be the last rank and that means a lot. Just look at what’s happening now… 90% of ppl build for rank 7 when rank 8 is kinda confirmed.

There has to be restrictions for circle reset but it would be quite needed imo.

There is no game without rules… Rules mean consequences… so…

I would like that too. But I still wouldn’t be too generous and make it to reset at least fix 2-3 ranks/circles and not 1…to make it less appealing.

Ofc you should be able to circle reset as many times as you would like. I dont care if you go for leveling build and change to moneymaking build later thats your decision what build you want to play. New players like myself will just read on the spell icon and go for what you believe is best. Then your 400 hour character turns out to be useless and you have to create a new one. People who wants to have fun and enjoy a new game probably wont put in couple of hours or even days to research the game, thats not how it is supposed to work. You login, create ur character, play it for a couple of weeks, notice that you ruined your whole character and you cicle reset to become useful. Youre not supposed to create a new character because you did not research the game, that makes no sense. Either add a NPC like in standard games that reset circles for silver, higher ranks cost more silver or IMC can exploit this and force people to pay money.

The easier solution would be to allow the character to finish painlessly even without a cookie.cutter build.

That way the char is never wasted.

However I would like to have a testing ground solely because some mechanics and interactions I cannot forsee.

To give you one example: Priest exorcise and Pardoner Discerning Evil. Now technically I could keep stacking up exorcises and via pro-longig make it last until discerning eye is ready again. What happens if I add another exorcise? Re-Write/Overwrite or will I get a second one?

I won’t get an answer to that until I press the button. Next question is - can I spread exorcise debuff via PD? Does it spread base or with increased timer?
Can I maybe get a second exorcise going when I spread it from off-target back to maintarget?

This is one of the reasons I am playing my main character less and started twinking. I press the wrong button and there is no way out of it.

Oracle/PD/Pardoner3 are all appealing to me for this.

Circle Reset is dumb. IDK how you go all the way to 280 and realize your bulid is crap. Maybe it’s not that bad and you are just bored of it. I’m aware people play this game blind. But a rule of thumb to all mmos is that your first character you usually mess up on. Either reroll or stick with it.

I’m going to repost this down here because I think its a good idea. You cant just throw money at it and it still takes effort.

I don’t know if i made it clear, but you have to bring your class level up again too, its not just a reset and you get to pick a new class and put all your points back in.

This is a better option versus your character being useless if you pick the wrong thing.

Funny I am pretty sure the button will just be clicked when enough lvl 11 cards are stocked and ready to go since obviously dailies stay active.

yes I agree with you

Didnt even think about cards. They do have a level requirement though. lvl 210 for lvl 11.

How many cards can you get each day from the dailies?

In an mmo though? This logic of wanting everything to be easy, fast, and effortless is so hard to understand. Especially when the things in question are attained by means of petty cash shop (if class reset is implemented you can bet it will be through TP, not silver). So much depth is taken away from the game by diluting every rule or choice down to a simple cash sink.

Its also kind of entitled to say that one shouldn’t have to do any research in a multiplayer game. You can’t ignore what you’re doing and expect to be successful here, that makes no sense.

If you invest a small amount of forethought you can avoid “useless” builds entirely. Whats left is two things: builds that are less optimal than others yet still viable, and builds that you feel bored with and are too lazy to reroll.

When will you learn. When will you learn that your actions…have consequences.

This.

5 and the level 11 ones chunk. Don’t worry about not thinking about it - that is what developers all do

I just used this Calculator and it says it will take 640 lvl 11 cards to go from lvl 250 to 280 and you will only get to class lvl 14.

Seems fair to me. That would take 128 days to get that many cards if you get 5 a day.

So obviously, the dailies wont have that much of an impact on my idea and just because you don’t think of something at first doesn’t mean you cant take it into account once you do

it’s a bad idea if the only rank you want to reset is one of the first one you are gonna get to have to redo everything , and if you say no you can reset an earlier class and it will just get you to the last rank you were in , it’s just stupid and impossible because that would mean you could be a lvl 30 dragoon
