Ok, so how about players who don’t have tokens and were doing dungeons when this maintenance happened? You need to compensate both parties fairly… not just one… Like an Exp tome isn’t going to bring back the time I had or dungeon runs wasted…

Chill, they might give more compensation for the extended maintenance. From my past experiences, IMC is already the most generous company with their compensations.
it will probably last a couple of hours. cuz you know they are not just plugging and unplugging the servers.
i love how people complains at people fixing this game. i wonder how hard they would complain if they didnt fix a faulty patch . i wonder how hard they would complain if they didnt fix ANYTHING AT ALL
how can you enjoy the game if the bots are killing your desired monsters for crafting materials, equipment, etc. cant even finish my collection materials because of these dam bots. it’s really a pain in the arss

Yeah, they can, but I’d rather have them working on a fix for this issue, hunting down the players who exploited. A single dungeon run is nothing compared to the shitstorm that could happen by letting this exploit live for a few more days.
I suggest…If they can’t solve this BOT issue…TOS team try to buy BOT application and try to trace what BOT react or doing. Like from RAGNAROK issue.

NOT EVEN! Admin can pop in as unmarked (Damn unmarked police cruisers), take down names (or mark as offender in-game), move to another server, repeat, ban them all at the same time, and then every hour pop back in to check for new bots.
And the other funny thing is bot reporting can be automated by keepsing chat logs of reported players! Let the GMs read reports, see the 4000 messages, and ban accordingly.
Oh well, ban wave…we’ll have to wait, apparently.

Its simply a step in the wrong direction, and if it continues the players who are fed up the restrictions ( which is a fairly size able number) will walk away. I don’t think i have to explain why abandoning a large % of your community is bad.
from the replies I saw I tend to think most ppl are happy with this changes.

Yes because should i ever ask my friends to play this game (which in its current shit show of a state i won’t) i can’t help them by giving them anything for 3 days.
they don’t really need anything tho, I mean first lvls are really easy

Obviously not because i started the first day. But generally when people get their friends to play mmos they give them stuff and help them to lvl faster so they can play higher content with them. But the easier it is for them the better. Because they won’t have collections / good items / bonus exp from team etc etc. First char is by far the worst.
I guess that a bunch of players just don’t come to check the forum quite often which leads to some complains about these kind of maintenance stuff.
Maybe they should add an in-game window that indicates a timer for the next server maintenance to inform everyone even if you log in between two announces.
I mean in this case the forum message was written 4 hours before sooo it’s kinda possible to realize this.
unrelated to IMC’s restriction policy, I don’t give my friends any items to make them breeze through the game faster as I feel that takes away from their experience. What I do is help them if they need to complete certain quests.
I also understand it’s frustrating that IMC has all these restrictions, but they don’t do it to troll us. I think all these restriction are temporary until they find a good way to deal with bots. And for now, I’m gonna give them some credit and judge them later.
I just wish I open the forum one day and see less complaining.
