Changes in order to save and improve this game [UPGRADED]

Pretty much sums up my complaints about the game as well.

starts off ranty but gets less ranty #grindsmygears

this game is new its going to have a rocky start…!!!

bugs crashes lag are going to happen on a new game why does everyone expect otherwise, i myself have no lag problem the majority of the time im fine you could try a different server or better internet provider and as for the trade restriction [if its prem only right now] i think its fine to have only prem users with it i play PSO2 and only premium can trade on that game and its doing more than fine with that in place. #premforlife

market tax you get that on every mmo pretty much so quit complaining over nothing.

i agree with team storage it should be for everyone free of charge having a shared storage in games these days is needed most of the time, they could just add an extra premium storage on top of the team one.

spawn rates so far i haven’t had an issue with this but it would be nice to have a few extra mobs once in awhile.

seller spam is going to happen lately with every new mmo [i have played alot] its a trend getting out of hand cant suggest anything for this i dont think removing shout would solve this however.

stat scrolls pay to win lol ok and i will call you out on it you free players want everything for nothing. sickens me. most games have something involving weapon enhance that IS pay to use. if you dont want to pay for it then don’t complain.

ā€œi’m not stupid enough to think that as it is now it’ll actually stand a chance of being a successful gameā€ it won’t succeed if the majority of the player base are like you

complaining over small things is counterproductive, i have had no problems that condone complaining like a little baby yes the game has tweaking that needs doing but it doesn’t mean this game is a total fail because of it, all the players who love to complain please leave we need more positive people in the community

i love the game so far been playing since closed beta1 and i will continue to do so untill servers shutdown bugs or no bugs.

Seems to me like you’re failing to realise that people actually complaining about these things are PAYING people… if the game gets so many complains from people that actually PAY for it… when it’ll go F2P it’ll be like a freaking tornado will have come to destroy everything.

But wathever… everyone got the right to his/her own opinions.

Just tought i’d let everyone knows that in between yesterday and today ToS got:

  • about a 100 positive reviews
  • about 400 negative reviews

Yeah i’m actually counting them.

makes sense tho since a lot of people couldn’t play yesterday
plus, people are more inclined to give negative reviews. you are mad about something --> you feel a bit better if you write a negative review (venting)
you are satisfied with something --> you keep enjoying it
Personally I don’t think I’ve ever written a good review for anything
edit: I did once like a taxi driver more than I ever thought I could and I left him a good review cause it was so easy to do it in that app  but other than that I’m quite lazy

Taiwan gaming market, TOS gone downhill.
IMC blocking Taiwan players IP and OMG’s agent, leaving all discussions are negative.

This post needs to be bumped over and over until everyone’s seen it. <3
Only thing I slightly disagree on is ā€œCash shop = P2Wā€ Sure the Enchantments are great, but all they net you in reality is a good bit of silver, since people are selling enchanted accessories through the Marketplace. Meaning everyone has access to them still.

Lol… i didn’t think so many people would actually like this post so much but i’m surely grateful ^^

I agree with everything except ā€œteam storage restrictionsā€ this is more a commodity than necessity.

They could make like Elsword, you pay one time and is liberated for all team forever.
Price wise problaby same as token or a little more.

I agree that would be the best option… but i think it’s clear that IMC wants to use the team storage to add value to the token and so i had to think a suggestion that could actually let them to that in some way

Given the title and all the caps, I entered this thread expecting to find a lot of QQ with very little thought put into it.

I am pleasantly surprised to be wrong. This is well written. You consider the token must have value for IMC to make money, and actually propose alternative token benefits to keep its worth.

Nice post, +1 like. I completely agree with what you say especially about the scrolls. 1 every 20 hours is not going to make the 10 packs worthless. They are about as raw RNG as it can get. 1-3 slots, 20+ possibilities with wide ranges. 1 per day will not break anything.

Yeaahhhh… i kind of suck at choosing titles i agree xD

WHen i was studying company management one of my teachers had a very specific definition about what a ā€œprofessionalā€ is… he said that a professional is not recognized as such because of a licence and such but by his/her ability at creating less and less problems with every solution he/she gives.

Every time you solve something something else in need to solving pops up… so basically:

  • if your solution to ONE problem leads to 5 more other problems… you kind of fails as a pro since you just created more problems then you actually had at the start…

  • if your solution at FIVE problems create ONE more problem… you’re on the right track,

I’ve alwway stuck sith that even since… every time i think about on how to solve something i always do in a such a way that i want to be as sure as possible that if other problems come out they’ll always be less in number then the one i solved

i’m glad that, reading the replies of almost eeryone in this tread, seems like i’m succeeding in doing so ^^

I can agree with many of the concerns, but i think that whole ā€œitems not losing potential in trade to premium usersā€ would be a terrible idea for the economy of the game. By doing so many items would indefinitely stay on the market, thus crashing their prices in the long run. And people could just play ā€œthe auction houseā€ since they can now trade everything they buy, even if they don’t actually need it.
I would be fine with being able to pass items (and silvers) between our characters without loss of potential, though. While that would still increase the lifetime of the item involved, you will likely have to sell it later, and when that happens it will still lose potential. So it wouldn’t be as detrimental.

I agree with all your suggestions, and I would like emphasize on a couple more points if you don’t mind:

  1. Items bought from Premium Shop should be transferable among your own character, it should not reduce the potential of the item, nor should it be counted toward the ā€œ30 tradesā€ token limit. Particularly the Premium Costume & Premium Hairstyle (They are currently classified as untradable and only have 1 potential). Because these items can only be acquired with real money, not in-game silver, so it doesn’t make sense that these premium items are subject to even more restrictions than items you can buy with in-game silver. And really, if I like a particular Premium Costume and Premium Hairstyle, I shouldn’t have to buy it on every character.

  2. Team Storage: You should be able to transfer ANYTHING among your own character, it shouldn’t be counted as a trade or subject to any trade limits or penalties. (ie no potential reduction, not count toward the 30 trade limits, or the ā€œuntradable itemā€ limit). Team storage is already a paid user feature which I am ok with, since I plan on paying. But these limitations they have on team storage right now make it worthless. Think about it, this game has 80+ classes with so many different builds that we can potentially explore, so team storage should be there to help and encourage players to explore different classes and different builds by allowing players to transfer items in their own account freely, because no one wants to start over from zero every time they wants to try a new build.

  3. Class resetting potion and stats resetting potion. Following the same logic, it would be really nice to be able to reset your class rank, just like the skill reset and stats reset. And a good way to prevent abuse would be a to put a cool down timer on it like 24 hours. Again, the game should be encouraging players to test out all the different classes they put into the game, not punishing player for trying out unpopular build and get stuck with it. Any new player should be able to just play the game without having to study all the different builds first because there is no turning back if you screw up your class rank advancement. Plus, IMC is already charging 22 TP for every new character slot and 88 TP for skill reset, so if they encourage people to try out new builds, they will make more $$.

Those 3 points I believe are absolutely essential to Tree of Savior, as the way this game was designed for and meant to be played as. I urge the Developers to give this thread a serious consideration.

sure with that, restiction are everywhere, it’s just frustrating to play actually…

Hope IMC will wake up with this problems.

Completely agree with OP, especially some form of trade. Does anyone know if they changed this policy for kToS?

Could you explain to me what’s wrong with having only 4 base class characters to play with, if you have to pay to reset class anyway? I am sure the class reset would cost more than the 22 TP that they currently charge for a new character slot anyway, which would make them more money than having people make a bunch of characters. Plus if you put a cool down timer on the class reset like once every 24 hours, what would be the negative impact of class resetting? Please provide a reason for why are you against the idea.

Team storage restriction is the only thing I agree with. I strongly disagree on several.

And this game isn’t P2W… Even with enchant scrolls… Pay to win what? Pay to own that mobs face a little harder than normal? Good for your e-peen I guess???

Trade and market restrictions haven’t caused ANY problems for me. I’m not playing Market Simulator 2016 ffs. And if you REALLY want to play that game instead of this one, pay your sub and support the game. Gold scammer spam will GET WORSE if they change this, AND if they touch the 30% fee on market, LESS MONEY is being taken out of the game when these bull$#!+ RMTs happen. These restrictions are good for the game. Trade is the only reasonable thing I can see them changing in a couple ways, the first is that there is a limit on it if you have a token (a very odd decision). The second would be trading between friends (if they come up with a system that wouldn’t be exploited).

You know what I think the ā€œMust Doā€ things are?

OH! Things that ACTUALLY FUNDAMENTALLY AFFECT GAMEPLAY! Imagine that! Things like…

-Party exp share and item looting seems to be messed up
-Spells will sometimes not fire, but go on cooldown anyway
-When the database server is under lag, half of the functions in the game don’t work which could mean loss of time/gems
-People not being able to get items they paid for
-Dungeons not being as fun as they could be

I’m gonna continue playing this game. And I really… REALLY hope they don’t change it in a drastic way. The ENTIRELY OPTIONAL market and trading does not have me concerned. It’s a non-issue. And you people screaming for changes are on the silver scammers side, or you are the guys who love to control the market instead of playing the game. They are fixing the important problems (like queues and mob spawns), but trade and market are fine. Leave your negative and review and go somewhere else. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out guys.

IMC still needs to fix mob respawn, they did now but its not even close to the ideal scenario. Really.
