Announcement Regarding Changes in Plans (Poll Closed)

For me the biggest no-no was the fact it was a 3 month head-start and the $50 price tag barring entry to a large number of players.

One month with a fee of $10 seems pretty fair. The 100% F2P players will still behind a pretty solid chunk of time, sadly, but approaching only 1 week of EA makes the purchase for the head-start less appealing, especially at the $50 price point.

I think most people should be able to swing $10. We may even see some players gifting founders on streams (I’ve seen far more given away than just $10 xD)

I do feel that a 3 month would create a gap that is way too big for the players, but a week is unacceptable for a $50 purchase for a game that is supposed to be F2P.

1 month is a good middle ground, though I feel the other benefits are a bit lacking.

Good ol’ democracy here to save the day.

Yeah and then what? I fail to see how you’re mad at that.

  1. Their levelling up faster does not disadvantage you.
  2. iTOS gets money (because who’s going to pay for hair cuts)
  3. The game you’re playing for free stays online

Yep, and to think someone in an earlier thread said the people on these forums weren’t stupid.

It is currently under internal discussion. We will let you know as soon as something is solid enough.

3MONTHS :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

I’m not mad at it.

I’m literally saying, people complained the old 3 month early access was bad because it gave people who paid too big of an advantage. This new option gives people who pay more an even bigger advantage. So why aren’t people complaining about it?

And that’s how you do business. I deeply thank you for listening to the community.

the 1 month exclusive access looks fair, even distribution of number of days. you can also do an open beta and just make the buying of packs optional for players that wants to get ahead. And about that you don’t want players to experience waiting queues that’s why you want to research on how many expected population you’ll have, I think by now, MMORPG players are used to queuing. Also about the server stability issues players might encounter when you push through with Open Beta, it’s a risk players are willing to take knowing that it’s Open Beta/Early Access.

But if pushing Open Beta isn’t really possible, the fairest option would be the 1 month exclusive access with 3 different packs with different prices.

Please, tell us: will One Month Access Period delay game start from 22 March to May? This is important for us to choose Month or 3-Month period.

then dont buy it, no one is forcing you!

I don’t think that they’re going to push up the day of launch to 19th May.

Well simply because, well ya know, revolution are going to be made again, like last days.

1 month is weak! 3 months for the win!

Thats probably c then b and then a should be around june

Please keep the march 22 release date regardless of what option wins. I ASSURE YOU. People will go back to rage mode if they find out it will get delayed AGAIN.

First of all, I appreciate that IMC finally released a statement in regards with the founder’s issue. Thank you.

I still do not agree though with 1 month of early access considering this is no wipe. They said they need preparation for the release of the game for the massive international audience but if you think about it, they had 3 servers on CBT2 all based on the west. They simply need to cut down the numbers of servers for western players and release one for EU and one for SEA. This will most likely divide the players and lessen the pressure on the supposedly first server like what happened to Laima on CBT2. This is just my opinion and in no way I’m pushing for 1 week EA only if majority of the community wants 1 month instead.

Anyways, I hope IMC will read this. I am willing to pay BUT please think about EU/OCE/SEA players. Ping is a huge factor in the game, it affects what builds we can choose from. I myself is from SEA and I’m thinking twice whether to pay or not because I might just suffer ping/latency issues like what happened on CBT2. I’m also pretty sure I’m not the only one who thinks like this.

@Staff_Julie how long goes the voting?

@STAFF_J
May I ask as to why is Option A even an option?

Option A: Less time, less items.
Option B: Decent time, most items.
Option C: Most time, less items.

All 3 Options are the same Price.

Option B and C makes sense but Option A doesn’t even make any sense. Can you explain what is the point of Option A? I mean, it’s just really bad compared to the other 2 that it shouldn’t even exist.

If you can make Option A cheaper, or give it some more items like Option B, I believe it will make more sense than it does right now.

But anyway, good job with coming up with this voting thing. Except the fact Option B was made to look a lot better than the other Options lol.
