Alliance of Inglourious Merchants (AIM) Recruitment [Global Merchant Guild]

Hi everyone,

since my previous thread https://goo.gl/GSD0bE talk about guild merchant recruitment, and some of you asking, like what do we do, or what do we aim? here’s some original idea from what i thought, this is the basic concept, still not perfect, and far from perfect, for the one who willing to join, are very welcome to contribute the idea, to make this guild more better and better. without further ado,

Guild Name : Alliance of Inglourious Merchants (AIM)

Who we are?
A Merchant Guild was an association of of traders. The Merchant Guild was able to negotiate with all adventurers/guild and regulate the trade levy. We provided the loans and aid to our members.

What is our Motto?
We buy it cheap, we sell it cheaper (suggestion and idea are welcome)

What is our Aim?

  • Become the biggest and most successful ingame Merchant Guild
  • Gain control at ingame market
  • Earn income as much as possible
  • Become a price regulator and mediator at ingame market.

What do we do?

  • Sell high quality supply with proportional price
  • Gaining control from both grinding/farming field and ingame market
  • Earn huge profitable income
  • Provide aid to other guild / adventurer that need help (aid format for example: extra capable member to finish dungeon/raid boss or supply with proportional price)
  • Become a regulator of the item price in market, so there is will be a exact price for the item (this one help, the newbie for gain some fortune with their loot)
  • keep everything economy ingame at balance, so the ingame economy will not dead (ingame economy is one of the many reason, people still stay at this game)

Do I need a resume?

Good luck and all the best with the guild!

my personal ideal is , I don’t mind losing out on a profit if it gets me what I want. Though profit is always nice.

Considering this is a merchant guild I’ll probably be one of the guys that hunt for raw materials.

Hopefully I’ll be able to get some profits like that too. xD

good luck with your guild/clan
i’m bad with market, so i’ll pass

To achieve this you will need some real PvE and MvP heroes to constantly farm the highest grade of gear to sell on the market and standardise price. Sounds like a very adventurous task, but also a lot if responsibility if you succeed. Good luck~

for every achievement there is always need an hardwork, so, i will try my best then <3

Research -> preparation -> grind -> profit -> repeat.

An interesting thing to promote.
I am quite curious, but I think it makes too little sense to jump into this with the amount of information on the economy system the game will implement.

Have you got the basic necessities for such a guild prepared? (or are you in the process of it?)
Here’s the general list in my head. (no experience, just general organised guild things)

  • A clean base of operations for guild discussions, announcements and private messaging between the guild?
  • A set language translator or limitation? (kind of needed, considering this is essentially a social guild)
  • Membership application quotas, requirements. (for a guild that is based on events and upkeep, they generally do need to set some rules as to who can join and stay, based on activity and daily/weekly quotas/results)
  • A trustworthy information management team? (taking time to build trust is fine, but I would imagine it to be a bit slow, which seems like a detriment for a trader’s association.)
  • Someone who has ample knowledge of basic gaming market economies and can adapt to whatever type of market economy ToS evolves into. (just one dedicated person will do. a good way for everyone to start learning is with a guide, before they become aware of how to deal with ToS’s market conditions on their own)
  • A nice emblem. (tacky emblems hurt my soul. this is a personal joke/preference. c:)
  • Good writing for presentation. (just some nice finishing touches for guild image, not really necessary)

Good luck with the future guild.
p.s. there’s some grammar mistakes and typos in your post.

hahahaha, lets do this bro

The game has a drop-item based system? Or it will be like a more reward-like for quests?

Speaking of those hunting for raw materials and rares.

How goes the drop system in this game? Will we all get our own drop or can everybody see what drops and grabs it from us >_> ?

For bosses, everyone gets their own drops, but also can see what everyone else got. I’m not sure if this is the same for normal monsters as I never partied with anyone during CBT2.

I added you! Hopefully we can make this alliance work out!
I don’t know what my aims are atm but fersure to make the game more fun!

by see what everyone else got you mean showing up in the chat box? because if its all just dropped, if someone is too slow wouldn’t someone else eventually pick the item up?

Drops could be made to be instanced* for bosses so only you yourself can loot your own items.
(or perhaps the timer for it to expire as your own item is made to exceed the amount of time before it expires as a drop)

Monopoly spotted? :frowning:

"What is our Aim?

Well, for example, if I picked up a crossbow from the boss, it would show up above my character. Kinda wish I had a screenshot for this…

Even your summoned boss -from quest- can be stolen by the other, that mean they will take all the item. If someone is too slow, i don’t think there’s any item for them to pick up.
BTW: What did i do to make you hate me so much

Is there something wrong with “gain control at in game market”? That just shows how serious and ambitious the guild is even though it’s a social PvE guild.
