Very nice, I was hoping a legal anti-spamming block would come out.
Except that since it’d open source at that point, it’d be decently simple to just disable the block on reporting.
As a developer I really want to know why IMC didnt implement regular expression filter on their chat server in the first place

- Snatching and recording the inputs from keyboards and mice.
- Monitoring or saving the network packets corresponding between the Game and the Server.
- Attempting to connect to the Game’s Server through the means other than the Game client provided by IMC Games.
- Unpacking the data and resources included in the distributed client and repackaging them to make separate files.
- Altering the contents of the files in the distributed client.
- Renaming the names of the files in the distributed client and replacing them with other programs.
- Creating software that poses as a part of the distributed client to gain personal information of other people.
- Using a program that can be used in hacking even if the program in question are commercially available or a part of an Operating System such as a key grabber and macro programs.
- Approaching other people’s system or clients via other unlawful means or impersonating personal information of other people.

Anyone else having issues with lkc overlapping text a lot? If it’s just me, @LemonKing do you have any suggestions?
SS for an example (I scrolled up to SS an extreme example, but it happens very often, especially concerning system messages and “All” chat, making sections of chat completely unable to be read).

This would make the Exp view illegal and map viewer illegal then. It actually replaces a resource file in the data folder. However, this mod actually uses the patcher to install itself without modifying anything . Also you can assume it’s necessary to look in the resources in order to create this but then you would find evidence that the resources was extracted and looked it by looking on the author computer. Therefore it can be view as legal since it doesn’t replace any resources or modify any resource. It’s its own script and unless hooking a function is illegal. Then it’s a different story.
I’m looking into overlapping text. I’ve seen it before, but no where near that bad. D:
ANYWHO, anyone claiming it’s certain addons are unfair (like the exp viewer…for some reason) need to grow a brain. It shows you how much exp something gives which information that is openly available on TOSBase, and all it helps a player do is choose not to stay in an area or how many of which mob they’ll need to kill to level up or complete their hunting book (which, btw, is also in the game).
Games that don’t allow addons for basic tasks are selling themselves short, and players who don’t use them are doing the same.

If it helps, it appears to happen most often when I’m in the “All” tab when either system messages are generated or I receive a whisper from an ongoing conversation (new whispers pull you to the whisper pane but ongoing keep you in “All”).
From what I’ve seen when it happens there seems to be a padding issue between messages. I’ll start to get larger and larger gaps between messages instead of a static padding between displayed messages. And then ■■■■ hits the fan quick-style XD
Does not appear dependent of the presence of the time stamp (seen in screenshots) but I cannot confirm if changing the text size had anything to do with it or not. (side note on a minor bug: changing text size does not update the displayed number on the slider in the /lkc setting until after closing and reopening the pane)

Um, how do I use this? I downloaded the release and extract to the release folder of TOS, but nothing loaded?
I extracted the file to my tree of savior directory but nothing happened in game? I have exp viewer and other map fog addons though so it might be interfaring. Is there any confirmation in game that LKchat is acive?

Also it is very often that messages shown in a bit different order than they comes, I guess it is something related to timestamps too. E.g. messages 1 and 2 shown and after that message 3 comes, but it is shown in order of 1 3 2.
I believe the correct approach here is to show messages in order that they come to client. Is it how it works in addon or it is the same as in game? (based on timestamps)
Correct, the addon sorts by order received from the client’s API.
Can you add a section on how to install this addon?
