well marcelo, just know that many many people disagree with what you think about what p2w means.

And if you fell like that will be very hard to find a mmorpg to suit your tastes…

And btw if you are a ‘‘hardcore player’’ you are expected to come up with some hardcore way of winning by building/planning/combo/playing better and ofc knowing more than casuals about yours and even their own build so that you counter every strategy they come up with.

High tier league of legends players can kill casuals even without any runes at all, and with any champion from free/starter (you can even pick for him, he will still beat you), because they are hardcore and know everything about everything on the game, so any advantage that you think you have by buying the most op champions and the best runes gets easily outshined by their ability and knowledge.

Anyways… this is an example to show why I think a hardcore player wouldn`t think like you.

He would probably understand that casuals need their space in the game, and cash items might help them try to compete with players like himself, and even fell happy about that… or… something… whatever.

no they wont, like hardcore wow players (im from a world top100 guild) dont like anything done to casuals, cause we dont respect casuals in any way.

And a game where the p2w let you have anything will never HAVE success in western, thats not how things goes by here. Most top players are just here now waiting for wow legion to come out and will not tolerate this obnoxius p2w and quit, while the cashers will do what they do in every game: get tired of putting money and buy everything and jump to another game

no wow is not the slightest p2w, first its a game thats been around for more than 10 years and where level means nothing you can get to max lv in 1 day, not tos where leveling MUST BE HARD and xp tomes makes it much easier. Second, like i said 10 times, boe gear in wow is totally crap and you cant even put your feet at endgame progression with it, while in tos i can buy tons of tokens and enchants, sell them and get almost bis gear to endgame in 5 min

no its not you can get lv 90 in 2 days and level means nothing at wow because the game is around for more than 10 years.

But in tos lv means EVERYTHING so a xp tome is totally p2w

Well i suppose thats the big difference … LoL is a really skill based game…
While most mmos are not to this extend .
Sure there are good player and there are bad player but its mostly around understanding the mechanics … and a lot depends on build / equip .
The execution is not that complex (well i was not farming earth tower or somthing before u all start to flame me)… and a lot of this game is about building up ur charakter with silver .
And well there is a disparity in time / effort >> buying silver.
Btw i don’t think that this disparity is that huge around the tp shop itself but more around goldseller / botter / and well in the price difference in the founder packs at the start .
But a mmo will never have this kind of esport system like LoL because most of the motivation is in progress ur charakter and to distinguish ur charakter from the rest .
And the more systems the game gives for u the better it is .
But sure u will really hardly be able to compete with someone who buys well lets say 10 billions silver with just normal playing .
And well the feel at which point its too much p2w should everyone have for himself.
For example u can maybe get enchanting scroll but drop they to a reasonable amount : NO…
U can buy ur hats well this works quite well and i saw a lot of pretty good ones for decent prices but lets say the price would skyrocket … at which point it makes no sense anymore to farm the silver and just buy scrolls / silver.

Abandon ToS, get back to your WoW and everyone lives happily ever after. Your personal definitions of “p2w” and “totally crap” are really out of the trend / reality.

In the end, if you’re not satisfied with the game, DON’T PLAY IT. Period. Go be your heroic “hardcore player” and feed into that feeling of superiority.

And yes im not satisfied with p2w crap and like i said only playing until legion is out, then ill go back to a REAL mmo where skill and not my wallet really matter

Maxlevel is everything in wow, you won’t be able to do the newest content/raids if your not max lvl. Just because you can level your toon from 1-90 in two days won’t change the fact that you can pay blizzard to skip the leveling process. Also xp tome just gives 30% bonus xp for an hour while in wow you can skip the leveling process itself.
