…sigh… There is no different understanding on something when it has a description which is acknowledged by the most.

Pay to win -> When you can buy advantage which can not be obtained trough the game without paying. Pay to win is when there are items in the cash shop which can make your character better than the others.

The only thing you can buy from TP here is Token and Scrolls. The scroll part is true, it should be removed imho but let’s not wonder away.

Token = Money if you sell it. However let’s say. There are people whose are luckier than you and they have 3 arde dagger from 3 dungeon run. Now, they will sell it and they will have a lots of money. Is this pay 2 win?

I know I know… Token is not luck based but the point is that it wont make you rich and op. This game can not offer you that much for silver.

You can buy attributes and some rare item/boss drop but that’s it.

Let’s face the truth… He is complaining because he has no silver and it hurts that his equipment is worse than others.

I sold 0 Token in this game but bought 2 already and all I did was using the market right. Now I have full roxona set + karacha and etc… I paid for nothing yet only a few people has this kind of gear. If this would be pay to win, that would like look like the other way. Even with this gear, I would be behind the paying players. That’s it.

Market and silver is there for him too… if he is lazy, dumb to use it, it’s his fault.

Thing is people REALLY have a different understanding…

On Guildwars 2 per example, buyers had acess to elite especialization that had whole skillsets that far surpass (very very far) the free classes.

Lets say the strongest and most well builded free classes could stand a chance against a Shiro/Mallyx Revenant (a normal build among paying players). That is, if the free class player really knew his s***

When I said this was P2W people said. No, it is not.

Because you CAN defeat me without my class.

So it seems that some people even think that a game only classify as p2w if the guy who pays will win 100% of the times (not even 95% counts).

Its strange isn`t it? But yeah people think differently about that, and people who say its p2w rarely are the ones that payed (coincidence xD)

I agree with you, what you say sounds to me like what its a pay to win game, but as there`s no such thing as ‘‘right meaning’’ for a mmorpg jargon I think its also somewhat fair that people can define that on their own way.

stop the bs a new player can put thousands of $$$ and buy all the best gear avaliable in the game atm and full lv 100 atribs in 5 minutes, you cant do that crap in wow the boe gear is totally ■■■■ except for 1-2 decent parts you cant join mythic raiding in full boe gear while here i can get THE 2ND BEST GEAR IN THE WORLD IN 5 MIN JUST PUTTING $$$$ this is ridiculous

but well i think still that this game needs the open trade with equip …
it will not work with untradable stuff like in wow :stuck_out_tongue:

are you blind or just dumb? are you really comparing a game where the gear that you can buy totally sucks and you cant even start endgame content with it with a p2w game where you can get full lv 100 attrib and the 2nd best gear avaliable in the world with $$$$ in less than 5 min?

i buy 100 founders pack, use all tp to buy tokens and enchants, sell it on the market and get millions of silvers and use all that freaking money to buy the best weapon, armor, neck and ring of the game in the market and to put all my attrib lv 100 in seconds. And all of it in a legal way, without even touch the gold sellers and approved by a smiling IMC that loves to sell pixels for casuals

Their points its no matter the ammount of $$ you have marcello you can’t buy anything that I can`t get without cash.

And this, in most people opinion makes a game NOT p2w.

You see, even if you do all that, and buy everything, you are still the same as someone who farmed it all, so you didn`t win…

You payed to… rush things faster… but you aren’t stronger than those who didn`t payed anything… so its not p2w.

Most people see something as P2W if the game has something (anything) that can be ONLY obtained by real cash, which gives an advantage

meaning that even if you are the eldest player, made the whole content, and knows eveything on the game you STILL can`t have that item.

Because this advantage its reserved for those who will pay, and they will win over those who don`t.

This is what most people see as being a p2w game.

you can pay and in 5 min get more that what ive farmed for 3 weeks non stop do you think its fair and nice? there´s no excuse to a game be p2w like that where $$$ means “■■■■ if you play a lot or not im gonna have your things” thats unacceptable

and yes if you want to spend a lot you can be stronger than 99% of ppl that arent paying anything cause most of them dont have a perfect bis gear yet

And theres nothing you can do with your cash to be stronger than a not paying person.

And btw they are not winning above a free player, they are just skipping content and… ruinning their whole experience tbh.

eventualy means i dont have now. Its unacceptable that some1 who plays 1 hour a day has more stuff than me playing 20 hours a day because hes paying for it. Thats p2w

A decent game = you pay to have cosmetic things and you play to get ingame stuff

A p2w game = you pay to skip content and have the same or more things than a hardcore player

only cashers and casualS dont recognize it as p2w… any top hardcore players knows that this is cleary a p2w case and it doesnt work at western mmo´s
