Why i vote for a wipe

A wipe isn’t going to solve anything because no new silver was added to the economy, nor was any item duped. I don’t think you actually understand what happened. People were buying Founder’s Pack, buying tokens with the TP and getting refunds on their payments, thereby getting TP for free. They used this TP to buy tokens and sell them. They used the silver they obtained and passed it to another account through the market.

The only thing generated was tokens. The economy is far from screwed and IMC has made a statement saying they are working with Valve and looking into punishing these players. They added countermeasures to bypass the refund grace period (three days) temporarily.

Your reasons for wanting a wipe makes no sense. Your opening post flat out calls people selfish. You’re not a developer. You have no idea how IMC is capable of tracking anything so saying things like “they will only ban empty accounts” is probably the stupidest thing you can say on the matter. You have absolutely no idea what kind of system they have in place for tracking transactions and to claim that they are unable to tell what team has refunded their Founder’s Pack yet used TP is actually very silly.

Your reasons for wanting a wipe are poorly researched and frankly a knee-jerk reaction. You spread fear, paranoid and frankly this thread is very toxic. You have absolutely no data on Founder Pack purchases versus refunds, no data on token movement. Everything you say is speculation. I won’t call this thread useless because you succeeded in causing a massive debate on something that will not happen. You have no idea, none whatever, so why a wipe would end this game. The public image, the outrage, the amount of people who would seek out chargebacks, everything would go downhill as a result of your solution.

This thread only spreads ignorance and while I did say I was leaving, this had to be said. Your thread will continue to thrive until IMC has to step in and pretty much tell everyone that this exploit will not lead to a wipe. When they do, you will still demand a wipe, with little to no knowledge on this game’s economy nor the impact of actually having an excess amount of tokens (which was likely used for RMT purposes anyways).

Please whisper a staff member and ask them to delete this thread. At least spare yourself any further embarrassment.

EDIT: Also you want tokens to be untradeable? You’ve just guaranteed that IMC will not take anything you’ve said in the OP seriously. Congratulations.

A vote…yea…let me educate you about democracy.

Not sure if actually serious

You didn’t pay for a headstart… you pay to test the game.

If you make your opnions based on a drawing of a guy using a stupid shades, you’re more childish that I’ve imagined.

We did not pay to test the game, no matter how hard you try to spread this lie, it is still false. THIS was a head start launch.

I don’t know what his deal his. He’s clinging onto this lie for dear life and spreading paranoia. Thankfully the majority of players see right through him.

@skribble352

They deleted it for a reason.

It’s not relevant anymore. Sorry.

Also this.

No it wouldn’t as you have no claim. The closest thing you could TRY and fail to claim is financial injury but you got exactly what the store page says you would, you would lose hard.

This was DELETED because they chose to skip obt abd go straight to launch, this early access is NOT FOR TESTING PURPOSES, THAT’S WHAT CLOSED BETA WAS FOR.

Yoy just call the bank and ask for a charge back, you don’t need to claim anayting. You think IMC is going to sue everyone over a couple of bucks? They would pay more in fees to make it not worth it, stop being delusional.

No i don’t. Im just saying if they did you would be the one in the wrong and them in the right.

It depends. We are arguing semantics, if their is a disclaimer warning everyone of an impending wipe if necessary then I would agree. They have stayed numerous times that no wipe will take place. We are just acting as armchair lawyers here and in the end it would be up to a judge who is in the wrong.

It doesn’t depend on anything. You signed a contract there are no if ands or buts. So yea, you could go to court but then the judge would tell you to read the contract you signed and move on.

sure make sure the game wipes everytime we see a bot

Still missing the point about false advertising.

Read the steam page.

Doesn’t say that data will be wiped.

They don’t have to state that. Aslong as the page doesn’t state that it won’t be wiped.
