lol, that was a counter argument about what you said about casual players. again, no one is blaming anyone or doing a witch hunt. i dont see how you see it that way.
The reason im referring to this as a witch hunt is because there is no hard answer for who is botting/ using RMT. They will come for a variety of play groups.
Once again well use this a a example you try to use this as a counter but then this argument could be made about any member of any play group with surplus income.
TLDR ■■■■ off with this argument its a waste of time and going to go no where, trust me im a expert on this ■■■■. Pointless arguments are my thing but im busy and don’t have time for this one.
you’re not an expert. you’re dense as a thick slab of concrete who plays alot of video games.
listen to what i’m about to say, and REALLY try to understand:
there is a TREND of rushing to END GAME CONTENT that ALLL PLAYERS ( this means both casual and hardcore ) seem to be doing. I believe that this TREND fuels the use of Botting and RMT
no one… is blaming… anyone…
do you understand now?
if you dont aggree thats fine. but the so called witch hunt is all in your head
You realize your raging on a post that was not directed at what you said and yet your trying to defend it as though it was. Even though i didn’t contest it.
Leo is blaming someone you are not.
I think your confused as to who/what that post was directed at. You seem to have taken it way out of context. Yet apperantly im the slab of concrete lol.
no dude. try to remember, i know its been about 30 mins and its hard for you but this is what you said to me:
@LeoLombardi made a counter argument to this qoute. however you had no justification to call it a which hunt since no one was blaming any group of people
As stupid as it is, the only reason I rushed to 224 is to get the Dragoon costume, infact after obtaining it, im here famring inforocktor and in no way motivated to level more
You said MMO player then specified competitive and pvp. If you wanted to include everyone would have had to through a etc. or misc. on the end of that.
Competitiveness of the end game. Means competitive players. It can’t mean casual because casual LITERALLY means the opposite.
Casual gamer
The term “casual gamer” is often used for gamers who primarily play casual games, but can also refer to gamers who play less frequently than other gamers…
From what I can tell, this whole mentality stems from WoW and similar games from that era. Wow makes tons of money, businesses like making tons of money, therefore businesses make wow-like games.
Wow-likes operate under the paradigm that the game starts at the endgame. Since they make up the bulk of the MMO market, that mindset has been imparted upon the players, giving them the idea that “This is what makes an MMO”.
If we wanted to break out of this paradigm I feel we’d have to start making games with the idea: “There is no endgame, there is only the game”. From the looks of things, Chronicles of Elyria is going to be the forerunner of this type of game, with its focus on storytelling and player-induced events.
The same reason I tried to get A’s in high school. To get the ■■■■ done with, then complain that the school system sucks. Then do the same with college. Then the same with my job. Then the same with my life.
Just like how everyone does it when they rush a game then move onto the next one. Then complain that they didn’t get enough of whatever they wanted.
Just moving along with the flow of life, trying not to get left behind and get no money and lolis.
Now that I’ve explained the case, let us all move on to something else now.
