Why are you coming to TOS? What do you expect? Tell your story

Since we are here waiting, lets talk about why are we waiting.
I saw this game in youtube a year ago and went mad about it, i played in iCBT² and it was a really good experience for me, taking me trough my younger years in ragnark all over again. I see this game as a second chance to enjoy one amazing world and become part of it, one more time.

well am just a simple ditto trying to make a living…

you know…

go here and there…

do this and that…

go in and out of places as lot…

help people and make friends…

I’m waiting since Project R1.

After RO2 was such a disaster, I’m waiting for an appropriate successor for the good old Ragnarok Online~

Ah and ToS meets all of my personal requirements:

  • Looks nice (Beautiful character artwork)
  • Sounds nice (Awesome soundtrack)
  • Plays nice (Gamepad woooooo!!! I’m a console jrpg-nerd)

I started liking OST in Ragnarok, and when I found TOS ind 2014, the graphical resemblance and OST(SoundTeMP) made me follow the news til today, and I always liked to play on a Gamepad instead the keyboard

I’m here for the outstanding music and unique artwork. I would also say for the customization and depth. I am looking to experiment with different builds, items, class synergies etc but more importantly to have fun with new adventures and friends while doing so.

Last July I went looking for a new MMO to get into after a while of not being into anything and wanting to make some friends.Probably not even 10 minutes into my search I found this forum, and about a week later they had selection for iCBT1.I was lucky enough to get into that and I’ve been all about this place ever since.

ToS is for the most part, exactly what I look for in an MMO.Cute character design, lovely environments, interesting class options and combinations, and a growing number of ways and reasons to be social.Only thing I’m iffy about at this point is the cash shop [because I am a decent spender in games I really like],but we’ll see what happens.

I think that the best thing in RO was the awesome people i’ve come to met in there. You guys feel like we have another chance to live that again?

I feel that most of the tos players are well grown ppl, idk, im 27

I’m actually in the minority that never played RO,but I can see why people like it so much.

And yes,I’m certain the average age here is 20 something years old.I turned 25 three days ago myself.

Oh, happy birthday, all good things for your life :v:

Yeah i am 19, but i grew up in ragnarok online, stopped playing in renewall tho.

battle priest to end

i’m part of the minority that hasn’t touched ragnarok too
i hadn’t even heard about it until tos

i used to play trickster online until the official servers shut down february 2013 and a while after that started playing a trickster priva until the end of 2014

i originally found out about tos when my friends got hyped about it a few years back and kind of went with the flow hehe

This game is something more than just some sprites and levels, at least for me, since i miss my old RO days.

Im a frequent twitch viewer whenever I get bored/nothing to do. This game randomly popped out of nowhere as one of the top viewed games on the site together with BDO and BnS. It looked really different from the modern mmorpg nowadays. I did my research and the job tree was pretty cool. It did remind me of RO bla bla bla… Then boom! Stayed for the class tree, animations and BGM.

I left SWTOR and TERA because of drama (wasnt about me, but some people there wanted to drag me into it). Trion pretty much said “Fukk You” when ArcheAge released, in the very first week, I was a patron and when I asked for a refund, they banned me. Then ANet screwed GW2 owners with HoT update. PoE got boring after Act 4.

There was also RO, back in 2004-2005, had to quit. Personal reasons.

Now Im here in hopes that nothing alike happens to me. Again.

A weird guy who eats raw potatoes told me about it.

& I expect to have fun and meet fun people. I EXPECT

Interesting early-mid game.
I’m a bit tired of these MMOs blatantly telling you that nearly everything you dropped before max level is absolutely worthless, since everyone will be max level in 5 days anyway.

Also, socializing, or at least interacting with other players is somewhat important, you can hardly go full kirito, I like that.

Last but not least, class options <3
