What's your biggest concern?

probably my biggest concern is how PVP will grow in this game. If you can take a look at my thread :slight_smile:

  • There needs to be a “Free camera” mode for spectators. At the moment it’s locked to player POV.
  • There’s no party or ranked queue. Battle League is random. We should be able to queue in as a party or custom lobby of some kind.
  • Tournament brackets and such should be a thing

My biggest concern is not having a friendly, approachable and active staff. I believe that in order for an MMO to strive on, there needs to be a positive relationship between the staffs/admins and the community. It should be a community where players can voice their concern and not worry about whether the staffs paid attention to their voices. I love the game, and i hope that i can love IMC staff too :slight_smile:

I’m worried that not having trading between my own characters will limit my desire to keep playing the game over time. I want to feel like I still have my old progress when I make new characters (to some degree, anyways).

Plus, all of my characters share their team name! They are supposed to be a team! Why can’t I help the other characters in my team? It just seems weird.

my concern is, why class is always not balance? swordman tree is an example. i am terrible disappointed when i played swordman at krToS. PvP? kill nothing, die mostly. skills are all related to close range, depending too much on dodge and DEF. if investing too much on evasion (DEX) and HP (CON), will lose efficiency of strength (STR). even, there is no special multiplier apply for swordman class like boost swordman DEF at attribute. like archer c3, they have swift steps (very a lot stats at dodge, moving speed, critical rate), like wizard c3 they have casting time reducing 50%, like cleric c3 they got steady safety zone. but swordman c3, nothing special? this is very disappointed. you guys still nerfed the highlander where the swordman kept all the hope? even before skyliner being nerfed, 80% swordman classes attack skills are considered lower DPS output comparing to cleric/archer/wizard.

is IMC telling us swordman should play at tanker path and not a DPS path?

  • Lower cooldowns on skills. Even with the charge some are way too long
  • Balance of stats, I don’t want dex all the way so boring

Actually even worse:

There should be a way to queue up for the random party finder with friends–or the bonus for pre-made parties should be the same as doing it randomly.

It makes me sad that a lot of people will refuse to play with their friends, because they will get less experience that way.

I have friends. Don’t penalize me for it, please!

Pw2 and restrict trade and restrict market @.@

My biggest concern is the long term plan for ToS, I want the game to succeed and i want IMC as a company to succeed too.

My main questions revolve around the ability that you guys will be able to keep this game running for years to come. What is your long term plan? Will you be adding more content regularly?

Could you provide us with player stats like other game companies have done? How many people have bought the founders packs? 50, 30 and 10$ versions?

How is kToS doing at the moment? Are there still a healthy amount of players? if not, how will you be attempting to get new players to join or old players to come back?

Can you assure the players that IMC have a long term plan for the game? at the least 3-4 years?

Will you be selling ToS Merchandise? Such as shirts, water flasks, puzzles or Maggi’s art books? if so, where can we buy these?

If you could shed some light on the questions asked here i would very much appreciate that.

There’s also the question of… if kToS tanks completely, would imc promise to continue developing for iToS? Many western releases of Asian mmos stop when the asian devs move onto another project. What assurances would the western community have that the same won’t happen here?

Without this information… iToS could just be a cash and dash… after all, their traditional main player base is in Korea anyways…

Class resets. This is going to be incredibly important and annoying in the future. In a perfect world, we could be any combination of classes and all be regarded as viable, but we all know this won’t be the case. At some point, skills will be nerfed or buffed and class combinations will no longer be viable or become incredibly over/underpowered. Expecting somebody to just reroll a character they’ve put thousands upon thousands of hours into is completely unreal and people are more likely to quit than bother with that.

Class balance and inability to change circles after buffs and nerfs. I dont wanna people switch circles like gloves but how to deal with the issue then?

Impossible to play with friends if you want max exp per day after lvl 200. Impossible to queue with a friend in the dungeon finder.

Nothing to do afetr lvl 200, only 2-4 dungoun runs and missons per day, then what?

Outdoor maps are bad for grinding. No quests after 200+.

The market system restrictions may kill the ecpnomy.

Most low rank classes do not scale well into late game.

Pyro fireballs still get kicked by others.

I’m really concerned about the current state of necromancer. Why use those corpse potion if the whole gimmick is about necromancers farming corpses(rpg-gasm), i saw people last cbt who didnt take any points to gather corpse or disinter and just spam corpse potion all the way!!

Either remove the potion or remove the corpse system at all! I really like the idea of necromancer getting corpse of this and that but it doesnt feel satisfying because of that freakin potion.

Possible solutions (when corpse potion is removed // damn i use that word a lot):

  1. Increase the cap of corpses you can hold (at least 1000 or no restriction at all) farm all you can!!
  2. Or just make necromancer’s skills (e.g Flesh cannon) more satisfying to use (more damage) because you can only use it to a limited amount.

Random rants:
How is decay status useful as flesh cannon’s attribute?
Please at least give shoggoth (if shoggoth is still the tentacle thing) additional tentacles depending on the card equipped, by tentacle i mean modified looks! For example i equipped mineloader card, shoggoth will have an armored eye. Something similar to that haha.

Or just ignore this whole post. I’m playing necromancer anyways :wink:

“linearity” I do not agree the focus of the game are the classes, in RO was also linear when leveling up

“Nearly no skills scale with stats” I agree there should be more

Walls of text are my kind of posts…

I think what I like most about you is that you are honest about your lack of in-game experience. A lot of epeens bursting out in posts by people who speak like they have first-hand knowledge but really they just regurgitated the post 10 minutes before their own. You’ve done your research and likely know more than I do about the game I have played and love =) And I believe it.

And I 1000000000% agree on the Transpose being labeled Rank 2. Ofc =P

ill just hope that one day they will the change the animation whenever mons died , break into pieces… very “graphic consuming”

Can we get a filter to block out anyone who use’s P2W please Its personally giving me a head ake where people keep justifying P2W with poor and horrible evidence behind it.

it has to for the necromancer to absorb there giblets
