What's your biggest concern?

Umm, rune caster doesn’t work with ground skills, only with ice sphere. It only synergizes well with wiz3.

Also CD is not a problem if you have cryochrono in your party. Watch some ET videos. Top team here is pal3, 2 wiz3elems3 and cryochrono. They have a squire as well, but it just stays behind doing nothing.

The problem with wiz3 is that it will boost any upcoming rank 8,9,10 and 11 classes with just 2 lower rank classes.

Also highlanders are much better in endgame then hoplites as hoplites grant flat crit rate and it will fall off with levels. While highlander have skull swing that destroys bosses armor.

Levelling is not a broblem in this game, with right equip and stat distribution you can level pretty easy with any class, especially if you have good party setup.

I can’t see how elem can possibly fall off in late game, as it has some skills with true AoE. While pyro truly falls off, already at level 250 it can’t do much. Sure it has some uses but you can’t rely on it too much in ET for example.

My opinion is mostly based on kToS tier list for ET, where barbarians are considered lowest tier class btw. I don’t have a link right now, sadly.

But I can tell you that S tier classes are Pal3, Wiz3Elem3 and Cryo3Chrono3. So I assume that other classes need buffs to compete with them.

stay out of Pay to win

do not sell items with stats

and i don’t have any concern

Mob density. Farming mobs is too inefficient currently.

Well…

Content, endgame content. Also the EXP curve was annoying as hell. We need more quests to balance the exp grind, or have quest exp rewards bigger at certain LVL’s/quest locations so I do not have to sit whole day to grind for couple lvl’s.

PVP, Guils vs Guild.

Also ToS turning onto P2W in the end scares me the most.

Oh who am I kidding. Where is the lower headgear? I want MAGNIFICENT BEARD COLLECTION!

  1. The security issues. The degree at which lua codes are abusable is excessive. That may work on a korean server when your account is tied to your kss but when you are dealing with free steam accounts you need way better security.

  2. The lack of detail on skill descriptions. The game constantly asks you to make permanent decisions about your build based on extremely vague information. A little extra clarity could go a long way easing players in.

  3. Very low monster density on most areas. This just makes the leveling too quest focused instead of offering a choice.

  4. Team storage being tied to tokens. That is just too basic of a feature to be a paid one.

Linear progress, lack of maps for grinding depending on your level.

Also, i’m not sure if this changed since iCBT2 but, all monsters on my level gave 0.3% exp. Would be nice if depending on the monster the amount of exp changes, alsob eing in party and stuff (not sure if they changed this?)

yeah i hope they learn from their mistakes and don’t try to milk this like GE i don’t want to see this game die

*Linearity
*Low mob density on open fields
*Nearly no skills scale with stats
*Loosing potential when using the shared storage is the stupidest thing I ever experienced…

Rank 7 Classes (they seem rushed out of the design sheets)
and
Dungeon Limit / Future Content possible pay walls.

Dungeons are to me by far the most entertaining way to grind. It’s a social activity, you meet people, you can learn who’s play style fits yours better, you learn to team play, etc. True you can do all that out in fields, but from my experience this happened way less than in dungeons.

Imho I believes game’s need at least 1 of the following things to stay alive and keep a good player base: Immersion and Community.
To be honest, this game is fun and engaging for all you want, but it isn’t immersive that much, so it’s social part is what’s going to make it great(er). GvG, PvP, Guilds and Party Grinding are the main activities that involve socializing and putting a limit to one of the best party/social opportunities I believe it to be a terrible idea for this game.

I rather have dungeons give less exp (still over fields though) and make them harder, but remove the daily limits completely.

Ping.
And if it really wont have transfer acc for servers outside steam. Im brazilian and I plan to move once theres a server with LUG (probably?). It sucks to start all over again including spend cash to have costumes.
Last but not least, xenofobia and homofobic ppl. :((

There is no “Rogue” class tree. Assassins and tricksters classes. The fact there isnt passive skills only “atributes”. For exemple, in RO you had double attack and in ToS you only have active skills.

1.) The impending threat of bots bringing this game crashing down to its proverbial knees.
I watched over the course of two weeks chat spam bots make the game “blade and soul” so distasteful that I left it and still have yet to return. (and i most likely will not)

2.) The level restriction of 10 levels to effectively party with your friends.
Really? Over 200 levels and you are restricted to partying only with people who happen to be almost exactly your own level? What if I had been leveling with a friend from when the servers are brought up for a day or so, and then i have to go to, lets say: work. And the person I was leveling with doesn’t feel like stopping playing? So the next time I log in I have to find another friend?

3.) Server stability.
As I understand it, we are all basically being pigeon-holed together, what with there not being a SEA or EUR server to take some of the pressure off of the east coast server. Not only that but there isn’t a west coast server either. I have seen this before and the results were generally, less than favorable.

4.) Dungeon limits
Honestly. Limiting the amount of times per day you can enter dungeons seems excessively restrictive. Or rather, what seems excessively restricted is the AMOUNT of times you can run through per day. We are talking ~3 hours per day in dungeons…

Don’t you WANT people to be playing your game? That last one is a bit confusing.

and finally
5.) Chat Filtering
This is one that is new to me just through reading this particular thread. But censoring the word class because it contains the word “ass” in it. Is, well, …asinine. Not only that but it completely completely blocks out the entire sentence?

… Seriously. I took this stuff in Ragnarok Online. Because well, what else was there? But this is 2016! Simple halfhearted chat filtering techniques such as this are a thing of the past. And id prefer them to remain there. (you know… in the past)
A simple scrip should be all that’s required to fix that particular problem. Depending on how the chat was coded in of course.

Other than a few other minor things that don’t bare mentioning until I actually am able to play the game myself, I am looking very forward to this game. Tuesday can’t get here fast enough.

I’d like more concrete data on what each skill does and how it interacts with other skills. For a game that relies so much no player choice and build paths the amount of detailed information available isn’t that great.

For instance, what are the exact skills that work with Simony? Or the Spell Shop? How well does the Turn Undead SPR attribute scale? Why can’t I wear the Shepherd outfit all the time since it’s the coolest?

That aside, my next biggest concern is organized GvG. What kind of plans are there for it? Will it be nothing more than the open world pvp? Castle sieges? Capture and hold objectives on the normal world maps? Once a week or multiple times a day? Will the rewards just be bragging rights, or will there be bonus loot or dungeons that are only available to guilds who have a successful challenge?

The game optimization (is really bad.)
End game contents
Classes balance
P2W

my biggest concern as soon as the server open…thats easy…wondering if the forum can survive without me

Things that I have seen people talk about, in no particular order:

  1. Pet AI. This affects several classes to the point where people go, pets suck so dont play those classes without knowing you are going to be really underpowered.

  2. Some classes/ranks are rarely used. Sometimes this is because the other choices at that rank are so strong or because the class/rank isnt very good. Some of the support classes are not really used since they dont provide enough of a boost to make up for not bringing in another non-support class.

  3. it would be neat to give monks a weapon like brass knuckles that meshes with their unarmed fighting style.

End game PvP/GvG, it does not have to be implemented now, but maybe in the next 6 months, we need an end game MASSIVE war involving many guilds.

P2W content in the future.

Bots/gold selles.

And, of course, PING!

We need:

1- For buffs and debuffs to tell us EXACTLY what they do in the tooltips.

2- Better feedback. I want to know how much XP everything gives. Output this in chat window.

3- Better flying text. I need something to show me when I’m silenced, when my attacks miss, etc. Maybe tint my character some color, I don’t know.

4- Better target selection, it’s random at best right now, even with Target Lock on. Annoying if you play with a controller.

For now, PvE in general. It’s all very simple and easy, something like join mobs and spending skills … miss strategies.
I worry the fact that there really not terrifying monsters … joining with WHAT I said above makes the most casual game possible and for little kids, really.

Thank you for asking. My biggest concern is actually how some skills are grossly under-powered. For example, Ice Blast and Flare are both still too weak to be considered sensible to invest in. Many of the rank 7 skills only do one hit with no attack scaling, making their damage output very low and disappointing. A good example of this is Sorc’s circle 3 skills such as Evocation and Desmodus.
