What exactly is the point of DEX on a Swordie?

Becuase Im pretty sure it works jus like phyical def an becuase theirs no reliable way to get M.DEF its not viable to try and stack it.

P.S. You can’t block, or dodge, actual magic

Everyone likes to bring this up but you CAN Block/Dodge physical hits which is alot better then taking the hit and hoping that you DEF saves your ass.

P.S. You can move out of the way of most magics in this game…

So don’t give me that BS…

Only two evasion skills, but two block skills that can force a block even when you wear a dagger. Timing their use let’s you do things no other sword class can. One, which has zero cooldown, and the other can be alternated with your evade skills cooldowns.

One of which is on a 33s CD and the other only gives .8s of Block and only blocks one attack…
It aslo has about a half second start up… its pretty difficult to consistently use it for blocking…

to be fair, swordman is only viable, if you have + over 9000 equipment.

DEX landing a crit will ALWAYS beat out STR unless you are Using the Basic Attack or using a skill that has under 900 base dmg (Not including your weapon, or Critical attack)

Test it yourself. Good lord,… It;s not hard to remove your rings and see that you are taking more damage than your removed M Def would imply. Same goes for Physical attacks and tops.

The way i look at is like full str is good against mages, full dex good against physical, str dex hybrid is balanced vs both. And con will serve as a meatshield.

In other words, stats are balanced.

Ya thats why con swordsman is better atm against mage. But with future patch if str give block pentrate full str would be good against mage.

That is, if swordsman was actually balanced against the mages lol. Currently swordie is not in a good shape.

that is Lancer. but it seems that Murmillio is getting some kind of magic block while wearing their helm.

You would figure if you have 900m (+however much else for the previous levels) silver worth of materials to put in to a gem that you would at least roast it

Is that gem legit? I call it BS. You would need so many monster gems, and gem abrassives that even if you had those many, i’d call it a botter or sort of and perma ban you.
