and What’s the rush to get to the highest level?
I would argue that the reason Archers feel so weak is that the grind is completely AoE Focused. There are no maps where you can kill stronger monsters (not neccesarily higher level) and get around the same exp - hour. So their “better single target” is lost.
I storngly believe if they fixed this and the exp penalty (for same purpose) that archer class would not be such a pain to solo level.
Also revalue the Jedi Curve on their Skills with Mana-Damage-Overheat-CD.
pretty sure i saw u in your group, all dead after afk botting/farming in the royal mausoleum so…
You should at least take Ranger for one circle because Steady Aim is a 23% damage increase. Archer 3 really doesn’t provide anything worth missing 23% damage.
Oh the arrogance. 20 char
But I agree on the punishing part of new players whom will fail miserably without browsing forum / reddit and gather as much information as possible regarding leveling.
How well does Jican Gu work for aggroing mobs of enemies, does it even do damage enough to be compared to Gu gong pot? I was thinking of wasting a rank to get Quarrel Shooter since they have a good skill for aggroing large mobs but if higher level leveling doesn’t have a bunch of densely packed areas I wouldn’t think of wasting a rank on that and would just go c3 wugushi like I planned.
Couldn’t agree more. Was a hard read.
Just remember guys, iCBT2 has increased rates, somewhere between 3x and 5x rates.
It took this guy 210 hours to hit level 200, in the live game it’s going to be closer to 620 to 1050 hours.
We actually have 0, zero confirmation of what the real rates are/were supposed to be. If you ask me, this rates seem to be the accurate ones. You are almost always inside the “recommended level” of each map(±2 levels sometimes). So that makes it seem for me, that this is indeed the exp rate they wanted ^^.
The exp rates are terrible right now. Unless you stop questing and start grinding heavily, you will rapidly fall outside of the level range of maps. Most maps give you 1-2 levels tops, but the next map up is 3 levels higher. Do quests and no grinding too much, and eventually you end up 10 levels lower than the area you’re questing in.
Also, the exp rates are always subject to change. But right now they’re somewhere between 3x and 5x the iCBT1 rates, which were the intended official rates unless something changes (which at the moment has not happened). Until we see an official “changed exp rates” notice, assume what we’re getting is above the official rates by 3x to 5x.
Lol. They never said those were the intended official rates. I read the staff’s input on the exp rates during icbt1(yes I played it too). All they said was: “Right now we have different exp rates than KR because our beta tests have different objectives, remember this is icbt1 while they are on cbt3.” They also never said, we currently have “improved exp rates”, all they said is “The servers are now running on kcbt3 exp rates”.
And in kCBT3 they stated the game has improved exp rates. So by extension we have improved exp rates.
yes, but this could very well be release rates. First cbt/2nd cbt: test rates, KOREANS complained/didnt like it. Improved the rates> could be seen as the now official rates easily.
“Improved exp rates” can mean they just improved them indifinetely(like a nerf to prices/buff to prices, etc)
Good question since this is a class guide not an exp guide/leveling guide LOL.
Jican Gu is an amazing skill for mobbing. The game has a mechanic that works like this: 1 character can aggro roughly 5 mobs. Jican Gu can spawn roughly 5 insects with just 1 dead target.
5 insects = 5 characters = 25 mob aggro.
If you were to do Jican Gu within a dungeon you would literally pull everything within the vicinity.
The best place to test and confirm what i said is true (If you don’t believe me, since the community seems to be a proof or gtfo) You can test this at Demon Prison.
The damage of Jican Gu however is the lacking part. Nothing scales with Jican Gu. Even putting more than 1 point doesn’t change anything. Insects do a standard amount of damage with absolutely no scaling. Tried STR/INT/DEX/Poison atk (Viper bow)/and skill level from 1/5 to 5/5
To be honest, i dont even know how my insects are doing 200+ damage in the demon prison. More testing will be done but until then put 1/5.
EDIT: You can literally pull up to 100+ mobs. Imagine level 200+ zone that has the density of demon prison… Haha i will full clear it and pull everything =X
uh huh. I hope you reported those exploits to IMC, wabblet.
Oh and we’ve all seen you botting. You can take this guide and shove it up your ass. Thanks.
Welp gg then RIP Vac ban inc. You got me, oh noeeee.
On topic, I’ve reported to see if players that figured it out can use such method. Its honestly not an exploit but more of a smart use of the mechanic they gave us. Doesn’t break the Terms of Service nor is a bug. Infact everyone does it…
Also you should have proof of me botting lol. This forum is a proof or gtfo. You’ve seen the earlier posts.
What do you mean botting? Afaik macroing the z button in worker’s lodge gives shitty exp if you are level 100+ xD
AMAZING GUIDE! As an archer I feel the pride to see one of us be the first level 200 of the server!
I also think I got your “Secret TIPS” and that would indeed involve lots of research into the database to find those perfect spots!
GRATZ!
GOOD JOB!
Can’t let everyone know about it ;D
Its not an exploit but a good use of whats given to you
Thumbs up to you bro!
Too bad i wont have as much game time since i gotta go back to work but i might start making a new character to test out new leveling methods Casually
That’s absolutely amazing. If that’s the case then without a doubt I’m going to go Wugushi C3 and not waste it on another class. I haven’t been able to find any videos to help me answer this question so thanks a lot!
