Velcoffer ichor ridiculous RNG, eternal money, and immortal bosses

-What’s the % to success when passing an item to ichor’s? wtf! already broken 4 armors and nothing… and why so expensive? are you guys thinking we have a money fountain?

-World bosses: 2~4 hours to kill a boss, to take ominous mineral? really? c’mon, that’s not worth. legendary card drop rate = 0.00001? tons of enhancement cards rotting in the market…

Your guys are turning the game really impossible to play in endgame :P, a lot of people leaving the game, because of this ridiculous RNG, and connection issues/game bugs.

If someone would ask me: How many mobs do I have to kill to get the 5% Item, I would say arround ~20.
There is no 20 potential Item :wink:

Considering 10 potential as the average your chance is ~50% to succeed.

my friend lost 34 items and got 0 ichor… so yes this system is imo stupid >.>

Well, NA(klapedia) dont have the dps to kill a boss in 10m without the bite card or the doppel/shinobi bug.
Lots of players dont even have the right class to kill a boss but believe they are helping with the DPS when they arent, just causing more lag for the rest of the players.

You have over a 50% chance. Primus have 12 potential, so 13 attempts. Masinios have even more.

I will not entertain you any more than that.

I’ve lost 6 potential of my primus gloves and ~700 sierra powder yet just on failling.
Now i have to farm like an idiot to make powders to burn on this shitty rng.
This is simillar to burning your life in heavy drugs since the game is shitty lag as ■■■■ and is consuming my life.

To be honest in Telsial ppl are ignoring wb, especially AA bosses cause even with 5-6 parties it takes like an hour and a half to bring it down, just for some mineral pieces… Most former wb hunters in my server are physical dps, and rexi/mirtis is not that much rewarding not mentioned that they hit hard like a truck. Magic bosses like Zaura take 1 hour+ as well, cause he jumps too much. Marnox is better, takes around 30 mins cause its card is valuable and it doesnt move much.
Before the change you can see lots of parties searching for worldbosses and fight for first hit/last hit/rank 1, and the fight only lasts like 20-30 mins maximum without the shinobi bug. Now worldbosses are alive after spawning for hours/days if there were bots in that map and they can’t just suicide for another bosses to spawn.

For an endgame gear that is not necessary except for players competing for top pvp the ichor system is ok-ish. Those same players have billions and bilions to spend, i have already seen people using velcoffer with laitas stats and set stats. The whole system is even a good silver sink compared to adding silver sinks to content normal players do like they did before.

For the worldbosses, the main problem is not the time spent but the incompatible rewards. If the card chance was 30% nobody would mind spending 1h killing the boss.

Finally, a lot of endgame hardcore players are game addicted, usually they don’t leave the game, just take a time. From what i can see of friends and guilds, most players leaving the game are casual or average players, this is why imc always do events directed to them :wink:

I really did not understand you guys, in the past You complain at imc because the game was too easy and theres nothing to do endgame, now you have the difficult that you asked for, velcoffer was released a few weeks ago, You have a lot of time until the next update so enjoy the game!

95% chance to fail, 13 attempts results in
0.95^13 = 0.51334 or 51.334% to fail on a 12 pot item.

Only 48.66% to succeed (at least once).

But RNG means longevity. If everything was too easy to obtain - game would’ve become too boring too fast.

and cant more extract because no items with normal stats all week

too much RNG is not good too u know? RNG to extract ichor RNG to enchant armor RNG to put set bonus RNG to open cubes etc ._. too much imo

RNG = fake difficulty though

In fact can we even say it’s difficulty at all ? It’s just luck.
You can make things difficult without having to put RNG into the mix.

Also, having to rely on RNG for almost everything is boring as ■■■■ tbh

well if you say RNG on tos is too much, you havent played gacha-based mobage xD

RNG is RNG, you just have to wait patiently and keep farming until you get what you want

There’s a reason I don’t play those gacha-based games: I don’t like it.

Plus in ToS it isn’t just to wait something patiently. Sometimes you’re spending a ton of silver for nothing and 0 return because you had bad luck that single day you decided to open cubes or extract ichors.

what i mean by wait patiently is you keep doing your silver farming, dungeon running, and those daily things

well, it’s always been MMORPG challenges, and for TOS because the game is still developing (we haven’t reached a very end game content)

The thing is that RNG isn’t any kind of challenge and it’s used way too much.
