Thereās nothing fine about how this GM is attempting to find bots.
Asking people if theyāre botting is something that was done in games 15 years ago. I would most likely not even notice someone talking to me unless theyāre whispering me. My chat is always getting set to show whispers only and I donāt bother switching it back because megaphones are always just people spamming LFG. I also only glance at what my character is doing when Iām farming something. Most of the time Iām looking at my other monitor while viewing my characterās movement with peripheral vision alone.
Anything that takes a page out of how Dark Ages(Nexon game) handled bots should be considered horrible.
The game is fun, but IMC is trying to compete with NA Nexon in incompetence.

If thatās the case then everyone would never be banned regardless of what they do, because it can never be 100% proven that someone is a bot. Everyone would go with a āi let my 3 year old brother play and he canāt read and he doesnāt know what a GM isā-excuse.
There are algorithms that are very good for indicating who is very likely to be a botter. Not responding at all to anything is one aspect to determine who is very likely to be a botterā¦
No bot detection is 100% accurate, however, it can be very accurate, to such a point where it
a) is extremely likely that it is a bot or
b) itās a player being a jerk by pretending to be a bot
in both cases i donāt see a problem with a ban. Bots should be banned, of course. But at the same time i think pretending to be a bot in order to waste a GMs time should be punished very harshly aswell. GMs have better things to do than wasting their time with pretenders and i donāt think the pretenders should have any right to complain, itās their own fault and they deliberately wasted GMs time, every human being with decent intelligence and proper morality should be able to understand doing that is wrong and will very likely result in bad consequences.
They donāt have to. Most reasons for getting banned are written in the terms of service. A GM does not have to repeat that stuff before being allowed to ban someone who is highly suspicious of being a bot, because players already accepted the terms of service and thus should know what reasons for bans there are, especially if it turns out that suspected player actively ignored GMs, despite knowing that it was a GM.
Wonāt work. Bots will be likely to solve it.
Also, people can come up with a āi have a disability that also makes solving math problems really hardā-excuse, which undermines your want for a 100% foolproof anti-bot algorithm.
I never mentioned 100%. But it should be better than now.
I donāt know if I want a system thatās 100% FOOL proof. We have a video here showing a person knowingly ignoring a GM then crying about being banned.
This level of foolishness needs to be punished so we can at least have higher quality human DNA in our games.
I mean this is probably the result of Avidity dividing by 20 chromosomes almost every post he made. After awhile his DNA quality went down so much that this happened (/20 chromosomes).

Why make yourself so much trouble when you can simply buy a pet that can recover your hp (hint:its a bird) and stand at places with aggresive of mobs to get free silver legally? IMC earn money from bird sale, you earn easy silver. Less botting damage. Everyone happy. Standing at lower level maps can make like 300k per day probably and some junk items, not as much as your bots but atleast you dont have to feel hurt when your bots were banned like in this case.
